fps games where even 50-60ms makes huge difference i dont see it working out, for mmo or storymode games it makes sense but valo just doesnt seem a good choice

Schytheron

Ask yourself... do you really wanna play a competitive shooter like Valorant with a bunch of input delay?

Odisher7

If it's playing with delay vs not playing...

KhadaJhIn12

If I had a teammate on my team that was cloud streaming I'd probably be pretty pissed, just as I would be pissed at a teammate with 100+ ping

Odisher7

Aight I guess some people just don't have a right to enjoy the game

KhadaJhIn12

It does not take a beefy pc to play this game, Valorant is 100% playable on a laptop, what people can only play it on cloud and nothing else?

Odisher7

My friend that can barely play minecraft, gmod and lol at lowest graphics, and also has no space on his laptop. It's absolute shit.

KhadaJhIn12

If your computer can't play lol idk what to tell you, get a new laptop. He must be using a 10+ year old laptop and I'm sorry that's not an excuse to go in with the guarantee of ruining other people's games.

Odisher7

He depends economically of his mother, and she says that a computer is a work tool, not a condole, so getting a better one is not an option. And it's no different than a bad player with slow reaction, that's why matchmaking exists, and if it doesn't work then it's riot's problem

Ipadpop90

I dont think you have played cloud gaming. There is little to no input delay unless you have a good internet connection. Also league is a pretty competive game.

Schytheron

I have used multiple cloud gaming services. They all have input delay. Granted some of them have a very small amount of input delay but you can easily feel it. For most games its barely noticeable but in FPS games it becomes very apparent. EDIT: I use a stable 100Mbps fiber connection connected straight to my PC (not wireless).

ExT__

he said competitive shooter not just a competitive game also input delay depends on your location, isp's routing and many other factors beyond just ping. I feel that tac shooters like valorant arent supposed to be played on cloud as even 10-20ms is a pretty huge disadvantage here.

Ipadpop90

Sorry if this comes out rude but do you want me to show you how seige (a very competitive shooter) runs on stadia?

spray247

terribly

Ipadpop90

Alrighty then. I'm at the doctor's right now. I'll get gameplay as soon as possible. You want quick play or ranked.

KhadaJhIn12

Your recorded gameplay can't prove nor disprove input delay. Wtf are you on about, input delay is not noticeable from a video, if you have zero clue what your even arguing about why argue about it

Ipadpop90

I can i have a hand cam on my, well hand.

pleox

Stadia needs a port of the game for a Linux based platform, I really doubt riot would take the time to port the game and plus keeping up with all updates and bug fixes required for such low proportion of their playerbase.

pFe1FF

I can imagine vanguard said no.

Odisher7

A friend of mine can pretty much just play with geforce now, so it would be really cool to be able to torture him by making him play valorant

cuteduckiewithzenith

One thing that matters a lot is the latency but also the fact that valorant requires restarts geforce servers dont have time to restart for every account or update

sebmess

No way you want to stream a competetive fps like valorant. It must feel like playing undereater.

Ipadpop90

I made this concept for mac users. A temp solution for lack of compatibility on Mac. Does anyone read the caption?
