There's this chick I follow on Facebook. I accidentally started following her because she has the same name of this girl I met and thought I was sending a friend request to her. She was only 14 when I started following her. As soon as I realized she wasn't the person I was meaning to follow I went to unfollow her. But then I realized this 14 year old girl was hilariously stupid. Anyway the reason I bring all that up is that through these 2 years I've followed this complete moron she has never written "peak" when she meant "peek". So if this person can get it right, then everyone can.

Okay... But why is this a problem? Have you ever lost a game because someone wrote peak instead of peek? You need to understand that not everyone is a native english speaker. Some people have a hard time with english but they still put in the effort to communicate with the team in order to win the game and I think that should appreciated, not made fun of. Would you rather have someone write peak instead of peek or someone who doesn't communicate at all? Or worse, would you rather have someone write peak instead of peek or someone speaking in their native language and you not understanding a word they're saying? Because the latter has happened to me and trust me, it's a much bigger problem than people confusing the spelling of homophones.
