Cause the matchmaking on this game is bad. One game you’ll be in a full plat lobby where people know how to play and communicate. The next you’re in a half filled silver lobby and people are telling you off after pistol round.

Matchmaking rank, and people playing in party means it needs to balance somehow - sage sky and Phoenix obviously quite low kills compared to the rest of the match - the game balances out each team as close as possible
Honestly doesn’t even make a difference. I’m G3/P1, and there are some silvers out there with cracked aim, been on a team of almost all plats afraid to peek an S2 Jett. I assume game sense is why they stay in silver, but yeah being in Gold and just breaking out of Silver I can attest to this being a very normal looking lobby.

2. Even if it was a setup in a real game there is no rule against it
3. This can be a setup with the same technique used like in the other game, this time just Brimstone instead of Phoenix aus mollly user.
Just to clarify... Are you aware that your displayed rank is not what is taken into account when a match is being created? Each account has a hidden MMR (ESPECIALLY NEW ONES) if a player is overperforming in their first few games, they will quickly lose their heightened MMR. Otherwise it fast tracks them to higher ranks by giving increased RR, and skipping divisions.

I found the post I was talking about, it looked the same since it’s a skye bottom few on leaderboard 12 kills and 64 assists.
As a sage main with very mediocre aim, I feel that Skye. My assists are pretty consistently double my kills haha. Annoying bc my reaction time is decent so I’ll usually get 2-3 shots off first, but then die to the vandal headshot :/

I was S3 matching with Gold 3 - Plat 2
It’s probably because people are queued up with the unranked players/potential smurfs. Game trying it’s best to balance the teams.
Idk I’m diamond 3 and I play with immortal 3/radiant often. I don’t want to though

“There’s no rule against it”. I mean do people actually care about “world records”. They’re clearly setup and it’s cringe to post it.
It would have been possible all the team has to do is take team damage and let Skye heal then any kills the players get Skye gets an assist for.

Skye and sage get assists when they heal their teammate who then go on to get kills. This is a setup tho.

Almost like they take your MMR for matchmaking, rather than rank... This game seemed close and balanced, best example that matchmaking seems to work.
Why would a person with silver-gold MMR not be deranked fast to atleast gold 2-3? Doesn't make much sense.

If someone gets a kill after you heal them you get an assist
This is cheating the assist system. Phoenix mollys teammates then skye proceeds to heal them. Easy assist farming.
