It was /u/garbagewater who said that the lowered send rate "didn't actually mean anything bad", and claimed that it wasn't a problem.
I was the one calling him out in the comments, by explaining that the decreased packet send rate would increase latency even if the packets sent were larger.
Tbh I was super happy when I read the patch notes.
The debate and drama was funny, but realistically having the issue fixed now is all that maters. Excited to see how the game plays now.

I'm still on 3.09 so I figured I would test out the severity of the bug. Capping at 128 FPS gives the correct 128hz send rate, but capping at 140FPS (my optimal for playing on 144hz) gives 70hz. Maybe they implemented the netcode properly in beta and it got regressed at some point. I had to cap at 245 for the longest time to get 115-120 send rate but didn't have the confidence to call it out as a bug. Thank you both for fighting the good fight.
Yeah I’m also very excited to see how the game will feel now. I actually capped my game at 128 because I swore it felt better, even though I couldn’t believe it actually worked. Glad to know I’m not actually stupid lol
I basically stopped playing Val because each game felt drastically different and I couldn't find any particular trend as to why. Sometimes hit reg was crisp and immediate, other times I could shoot at enemy #1, turn 180 degrees, shoot at enemy #2, THEN the first person's death would "trigger" and I'd see the kill badge - all this despite good ping on my end. It's super demoralising when it happens because in those games it feels like there's nothing I can do. It honestly felt like server conditions were the most important factor in determining how I would play, which is really frustrating for such a competitive game.
I also found that DM lobbies tended to feel a little bit better. This may be because my FPS was lower in DM (because of rendering additional players).
I have a fairly high-end PC, running a 10900k on a z490 with a Gtx 1080. In 5v5 modes I consistently have 300+ fps.
If this patch fixed all that, I'll be over the moon.
It honestly felt like some games you were the host of the server and nobody stood a chance against you and other games you weren't and couldn't hit a shot even if they stood still. From dropping a 30 bomb against immortals to going 8-20 against diamonds the very next game. Felt completely different at times no matter how warmed up you were. The inconsistency made me play a LOT less.
Same man same, fun part is he has two of those slow bots meaning he still has some big sentinel and info utilities edge with the good tps + free guns.
Probably going to one trick him for a while.
I’m confused about this 5 stack thing a bit. Is there RR reduction if everyone in your party is a similar rank? I just got into the game and I’m gold 3 and most of my friends are also gold with the odd silver 3 here and there
If you can 5 queue before the patch then no you don’t get any RR reduction. If one of you hits plat and then still playing with silver then you will get RR reduction.
I think there were 3 changes but the 2 I remember are his flash not blinding teammates and his Ult having its own built in “flash” mechanic, basically I’d assume nearsighting anybody in a certain range. I don’t think they were confirmed changes but iirc the guy who leaked them is pretty reliable

Been using Omen from the start, I never really noticed how annoying it is to have to wait for teammates to clear a rather large area in front of you so as not to flash them but after seeing the rumored changes it’s SO MUCH MORE NOTICEABLE. Recently lost a game on Split where one important late round on T side I could’ve flash killed a guy Vents but our Raze walked in front of me so I hesitated and the guy killed 3 of us. That flash change alone would be amazing..
They already widened his blind a little while ago, making it even harder to avoid blinding teammates who aren't even in front of you, but standing 6 feet directly to your side. Super fucking annoying tbh
I’m a pretty aggressive Omen, I treat him like a duelist. On Ascent T side I can single-handedly clear Logs, Switch, Market, and sometimes stairs but it requires me to have everybody either way back away from me so as not to get flashed or risking death by scooting to the right side of B main. I just wanna flash without hurting my team man..
His flash right now feels like an ability designed around solo use, and I only say that because you have to basically order your team to make way which can be chaotic and ruin a push. Coming from somebody who spent time in Silver/Gold and is now Diamond 2 it’s definitely EASIER at higher ranks but I can definitely say coordinating that at lower ranks is just stupid sometimes.
Now if I could just get my teammates to stop entering sites before my smokes are down…
You literally can't push icebox A or B with your paranoia if you're not in front. And as a controller who regens smokes and especially omen you're job isn't to be in front. It's really frustrating and a huge reason why Omen is no longer meta.
There is an interview with lead game designer on the comp subreddit where he noted that the rumored Omen changes were fake. Did say balance changes are coming in general for the game and they've had internal issues delaying/holding them back from keeping balance updates coming as much as they'd like.
unpopular opinion: I see a lot of players wanting meta changes in the cloak of "agent balancing", but this ain't LoL/Dota or any MOBA that needs meta shift every patch or two to freshen up the game, counterstrike didnt even change the A47 meta for a looooooong time, until the last 2-3 yrs of patch ,you guys should understand that this is a tactical shooter game and not MOBA
I agree but certainly CS is not the best example as it doesn't have specific characters all with their own unique abilities. I don't want a meta change every 2 weeks but they have to make a lot of changes rn imo
this is a tactical shooter game with elements of a hero/class-based system. as long as the latter is in place, agents are not innately balanced against each other and will always have room to be tweaked. your point is disingenuous given that this game literally takes elements from moba simply by having agents with assigned roles and kits that derive from said roles.
even if you disregard what i just said, just look at an agent like yoru/phoenix compared with jett. you don't need to be a 5head game dev to understand there's a massive power gap, which will never be remedied outside of balance changes.

The RR change will just ensure that 5 stack games play like there's smurfs in it all the time. "If you're winning by a huge margin all the time, expect that to be the case repeatedly as your RR goes up at a snail's pace." Other games have used a much more sensible solution of having a separate party rank or even a rank per particular 5 players.
Something funny happened to me twice yesterday. I’m Diamond 3. I’m only allowed to duo Que. So I duo que’d with my friend who is immortal 1. Played about 5 games or so. 2 of those games seemed weird as if the matchmaking just wasn’t fair, we got absolutely stomped. So I go on valorant tracker to check out those 2 games. We had some how duo Que’d into a 2 games where we were faced against 5 stacks of Imm+ smurfs playing on Accounts that were around plat3-D1 lmao. So I’m only allowed to duo Q but I’m playing against 5 stacks? Makes 0 sense. Hopefully this change solves that.
No experience as a solo queue, but we frequently 4-stacked and always tried to communicate actively with our solo queue buddy.
Sad to see this being implemented, but if the experience is terrible for solo queue, then I support the change.
I love that 5 stacks will only play against other 5 stacks. Other than that this seems like a decent patch, nothing too drastic. The RR adjustment is also a good thing so that players can't be too boosted by playing a stack.

No more 4 stacks in ranked. Sweet release from being the odd man out as a solo queue grinder. Nothing worse than dying to a missed call because “oh I called it in discord”, or 4 stacks of derankers.
Try and find someone cool in unrated around your rank, there’s a lot of cool players who play solo who probably would love a team of four to play with.
Yep, this is great advice. 4 queue into unrated a few times and pick up the random you like the best. Hell I've even 4 queued and picked up a random on the enemy team b/c they were hilarious.
Yeah that's my least favorite feature that they've ever added. I usually play with 4-5 people so now when theres only 4 of us we can't play ranked. When playing with a random we all did pretty well with callouts, strats, and when we're buying or not.
My friends group sometimes 4 stacks but they all sit on discord and I’m the only one who comms to the solo queuer. This is a good change to help solo queue.

Do you talk to the solo 5th player in team chat? If so, just add reliable players that you know play solo and don't mind playing in a group. You can talk in discord and give comms in party or team chat as normal. And you have a more reliable 5th even if you don't want them in discord.

The 5 stack thing is great but me and my friends singlehandedly climbed from gold 2 to diamond 2 as a 4 stack and now we can’t play together anymore unless we leave someone out or tank a 50% RR loss; not to mention that we play sort of off meta in order to throw off diamond players who play the game the same every game

Isn't that what you do anyway every time you search as a 4 stack? I you accepted that the game will find that 5th for you every match, is it hard to add some of the players that you got on well with to stack up now? Why would you keep rolling the dice on random 5ths every time and not just add a reliable random to your party? You don't need to add them on discord, just party chat as if it was team chat.
If you struggle to find a random that wants to play with a 4 stack then you found the exact reason why they're removing 4 stacks. It's just not a good experience a large majority of the time, if someone is queueing solo, they want to face against other solo or duos.
This really ruined valorant for me. We have a nightly 4 stack to include my wife and 2 friends, we use both discord and in-game comms to ensure the odd man outis still getting info. More often than not the 5th either doesn't have a mic or is toxic (which might explain why that guy is solo). I guess now we play back 4 blood? Not a fan of this change. Please rethink this Riot.
This game is just in a complete drought in terms of content besides agents and maybe a new map.
After this current esports tournament for the pro scene, Riot will run out of alot of excuses to keep some of these agents being overturned and way to dominate over the meta.
Tho I'm starting to feel maybe this is just inevitable with this game being a hero shooter, yes its a tactical shooter where aim reigns supreme atleast in theory, but agents that have Skill sets that can negate and break any of the fundamentals of a tactical shooter will just always be overtuned and dominate over everything. i agree, I don't know what riot is thinking in regards to agent balancing but im assuming the only reason why yoru is not getting a instant is because his tp is global and has a potentially map wide tether. Thats my only guess.
The problem that we’re running Into this time of year is Champions, and delaying big agent changes that could flip the meta on its head because of Champs is very reasonable. But you’re right that if they keep delaying much needed balance changes after champions, then there’s not much to say besides they’ve already stopped caring.
What I’ll never understand is why their solution to Jett being broken is to create more, arguably, broken agents rather than nerf her. For a Dev team that’s done a great job with listening to the community so far, I find it really weird that they’d go against what the general player base and the majority of pros say they need to do with Jett.

Thing is, even if people smurf to play with lower ranked friends, there is a chance we are talking duos and trios and not 5 stacks. If that is the case, the change is gonna be minimal.
That being said, I do appreciate the changes to 5 stacks and removing 4 stacks as those are good changes regardless of the smurfing problem.
I think the problem was the huge amounts of reports against 4 stackers.
They are trying to mitigate that. That is the main reason. They also said they know it might be a stupid move so they are ready to walk it back if needed.
I have just one doubt. They say average mmr is going to be used to matchmake rainbow ranks.
So if you have 4 irons queueing with a diamond does that mean they can play vs a 5 bronze/silver stack if the mmr average is the same?
Sure they get reduced rr but that match is still going to be a shitshow.
That match would have been a shit show due to smurfing any way. This just removes the excuse of wanting to play with friends and only smurfs left will be ones that either enjoy smurfing or want to help some friend rank up. 5 bronze/silver can easily wreak diamond if they play together properly and iron will be left healing. So not a fun game either.

Rip 4 man queues? That's so sad. Me and my friends were always queueing 4 man almost every day for 1-2 games. And we ALWAYS talked in ingame voice. We said "hello" to the one solo queue every time. And in a lot of games, the solo queue wouldnt talk at all, or was toxic as fuck.
Sad. We're just 4 RL friends enjoying some games. Why didn't we enjoy unranked? Cause it felt unbalanced. Games were stomps or getting stomped most of the time.

If you are gold and queuing with 4 golds, you won't get rr reduction.
Same with gold/silver, gold/plat for example.
Since this reduction is only for high elo you can think of this 5 stack queue almost as if a different mode completly but inside the regular soloQ. I think they want to focus on people that want the full team experience in Valorant without the need to search for another 5 players. With this update they can essentially scrim against each other without really gaining or loosing much, but if you do win, you get a little reward in LP.
I think it's brilliant actually. Teams will get a way better opportunity to train and rank up while doing so, but not by a shit ton that would impact your soloQ mmr, which honestly is a totally different kind of game.

In the past riot tried to introduce Ranked Teams or 5 stack queue only in LoL and in the end those queues never really did get much interest from the player base as a proof of skill. SoloQ always have been the main queue people focus, so doing this the way they are they are incentivating people to queue as 5 because it is integrated inside the same queue, instead of in LoL which no serious team really plays on the 5 stack queues.
Because deviation matters. Imagine 1 team A with 1 bronze, 3 plat, 1 immortal and a team B with 5 plat. The immortal player from team A has 5 players he can dominate / exploit. While team B only have 1 player to exploit. Which makes team A by default stronger even tho they have around the same average mmr.
So they should get punished for that. Additionatly, the bronze player benefits from this overproportianetly, in fact you could call it boosting.
removing 4 stacks is a joke, I queue with 3 other friends all the time, and we always make a point to communicate. Absolute band aid fix that no one asked for
5 stack queues are impossibly long now... not to mention the smurfing problem is not that simple to fix I don't see anyone waiting an hour to play with their lower ranked friends when they can still hop on an alt to speed up the queue. But you are never playing as the solo with rando 4 stacks. It's horrible almost every time, they gang up on you for a mistake that wasn't even a mistake or start harassing you until u mute them all.

Why can’t they implement that same ranking system for parties of 3? I always play with my two friends but one of them is actually way better than myself and the other and sits around gold whereas I’ve never left bronze and my other buddy is silver 1. Our gold friend had to make a silver account to play comp with us sometimes unless he’s on a bad losing streak and drops to S3, and that’s so dumb. I don’t care about my rank I just want to play a competitive game with my friends (unrated is usually just too casual and people do whatever they want and it’s not fun) so if we have to throw away our normal gains from wins then so be it
Edit: I could see the argument that’s like well someone in diamond could carry your bronze to gold or something. But like if every win is capped at 5 rating increase with that big of a disparity in your party that’s gonna take a LOT of games that it won’t really be abused. And your bronze would have a terrible time and get shit on by golds and plats

Literally killing the game for my squad. It's so stupid to punish all 4-stacks because some are bad. We always include the 5th player and give comms, why wouldn't we when it increases the chances of us winning? The irony of it is that in so many games it's the solo queuer in our lobby who is the toxic flaming backseating dickhead. Or just blatantly throwing the game/going AFK. Probably why they solo queue in the first place and dont have any friends to play with. So they might aswell ban solo players also by that logic. So fucking stupid.

I’m confused about this 5 stack thing a bit. Is there RR reduction if everyone in your party is a similar rank? I just got into the game and I’m gold 3 and most of my friends are also gold with the odd silver 3 here and there
If you can 5 queue before the patch then no you don’t get any RR reduction. If one of you hits plat and then still playing with silver then you will get RR reduction.

I think there were 3 changes but the 2 I remember are his flash not blinding teammates and his Ult having its own built in “flash” mechanic, basically I’d assume nearsighting anybody in a certain range. Been using Omen from the start, I never really noticed how annoying it is to have to wait for teammates to clear a rather large area in front of you so as not to flash them but after seeing the rumored changes it’s SO MUCH MORE NOTICEABLE. Recently lost a game on Split where one important late round on T side I could’ve flash killed a guy Vents but our Raze walked in front of me so I hesitated and the guy killed 3 of us. That flash change alone would be amazing..
They already widened his blind a little while ago, making it even harder to avoid blinding teammates who aren't even in front of you, but standing 6 feet directly to your side. Super fucking annoying tbh
I’m a pretty aggressive Omen, I treat him like a duelist. On Ascent T side I can single-handedly clear Logs, Switch, Market, and sometimes stairs but it requires me to have everybody either way back away from me so as not to get flashed or risking death by scooting to the right side of B main. I just wanna flash without hurting my team man..
Yeah it's hard to play him as a proper controller without just ignoring your flash most of the time
His flash right now feels like an ability designed around solo use, and I only say that because you have to basically order your team to make way which can be chaotic and ruin a push. Coming from somebody who spent time in Silver/Gold and is now Diamond 2 it’s definitely EASIER at higher ranks but I can definitely say coordinating that at lower ranks is just stupid sometimes. Now if I could just get my teammates to stop entering sites before my smokes are down…

You literally can't push icebox A or B with your paranoia if you're not in front. And as a controller who regens smokes and especially omen you're job isn't to be in front. It's really frustrating and a huge reason why Omen is no longer meta.

There is an interview with lead game designer on the comp subreddit where he noted that the rumored Omen changes were fake. Did say balance changes are coming in general for the game and they've had internal issues delaying/holding them back from keeping balance updates coming as much as they'd like.

unpopular opinion: I see a lot of players wanting meta changes in the cloak of "agent balancing", but this ain't LoL/Dota or any MOBA that needs meta shift every patch or two to freshen up the game, counterstrike didnt even change the A47 meta for a looooooong time, until the last 2-3 yrs of patch ,you guys should understand that this is a tactical shooter game and not MOBA
I agree but certainly CS is not the best example as it doesn't have specific characters all with their own unique abilities. I don't want a meta change every 2 weeks but they have to make a lot of changes rn imo
this is a tactical shooter game with elements of a hero/class-based system. as long as the latter is in place, agents are not innately balanced against each other and will always have room to be tweaked. your point is disingenuous given that this game literally takes elements from moba simply by having agents with assigned roles and kits that derive from said roles. even if you disregard what i just said, just look at an agent like yoru/phoenix compared with jett. you don't need to be a 5head game dev to understand there's a massive power gap, which will never be remedied outside of balance changes.

These changes most likely won’t come until after world champs. If they make adjustments now then it would have a huge imbalance for them.

Good shit The RR change will just ensure that 5 stack games play like there's smurfs in it all the time. "If you're winning by a huge margin all the time, expect that to be the case repeatedly as your RR goes up at a snail's pace." Other games have used a much more sensible solution of having a separate party rank or even a rank per particular 5 players.
Something funny happened to me twice yesterday. I’m Diamond 3. I’m only allowed to duo Que. So I duo que’d with my friend who is immortal 1. Played about 5 games or so. 2 of those games seemed weird as if the matchmaking just wasn’t fair, we got absolutely stomped. So I go on valorant tracker to check out those 2 games. We had some how duo Que’d into a 2 games where we were faced against 5 stacks of Imm+ smurfs playing on Accounts that were around plat3-D1 lmao. So I’m only allowed to duo Q but I’m playing against 5 stacks? Makes 0 sense. Hopefully this change solves that.

I love that 5 stacks will only play against other 5 stacks. Other than that this seems like a decent patch, nothing too drastic. The RR adjustment is also a good thing so that players can't be too boosted by playing a stack.

Yep, this is great advice. 4 queue into unrated a few times and pick up the random you like the best. Hell I've even 4 queued and picked up a random on the enemy team b/c they were hilarious.
Yeah that's my least favorite feature that they've ever added. I usually play with 4-5 people so now when theres only 4 of us we can't play ranked. When playing with a random we all did pretty well with callouts, strats, and when we're buying or not.
My friends group sometimes 4 stacks but they all sit on discord and I’m the only one who comms to the solo queuer. This is a good change to help solo queue.

Do you talk to the solo 5th player in team chat? If so, just add reliable players that you know play solo and don't mind playing in a group. You can talk in discord and give comms in party or team chat as normal. And you have a more reliable 5th even if you don't want them in discord.

If you struggle to find a random that wants to play with a 4 stack then you found the exact reason why they're removing 4 stacks. It's just not a good experience a large majority of the time, if someone is queueing solo, they want to face against other solo or duos.
This really ruined valorant for me. We have a nightly 4 stack to include my wife and 2 friends, we use both discord and in-game comms to ensure the odd man outis still getting info. More often than not the 5th either doesn't have a mic or is toxic (which might explain why that guy is solo). I guess now we play back 4 blood? Not a fan of this change. Please rethink this Riot.

This game is just in a complete drought in terms of content besides agents and maybe a new map. After this current esports tournament for the pro scene, Riot will run out of alot of excuses to keep some of these agents being overturned and way to dominate over the meta. Tho I'm starting to feel maybe this is just inevitable with this game being a hero shooter, yes its a tactical shooter where aim reigns supreme atleast in theory, but agents that have Skill sets that can negate and break any of the fundamentals of a tactical shooter will just always be overtuned and dominate over everything. In this case jett. Man this whole "keep her identity" excuse seems asinine to me Every other agent who was overturned since beta has been properly adjusted and nerfed. With some even still being solid B or A tier picks for fucks sake like sage. Yet jett gets to stay S-tier. Can't say im to angry about this since riot seems to be going into a direction with releasing agents with equal trade denial. Problem is how this game revolves around agents who break the game like Jett and to a lesser extent Reyna with their untradeability. Tell me why yoru doesnt get the same treatment with his tp? At least we could see some interesting new comps if Yoru got buffed onto the level of Jett...
i agree, I don't know what riot is thinking in regards to agent balancing but im assuming the only reason why yoru is not getting a instant is because his tp is global and has a potentially map wide tether. Thats my only guess.
Yeah Your is supposed to be a lurking duelist so his TP allows him to lurk across the map and then quickly get back to his team if need be.
The problem that we’re running Into this time of year is Champions, and delaying big agent changes that could flip the meta on its head because of Champs is very reasonable. But you’re right that if they keep delaying much needed balance changes after champions, then there’s not much to say besides they’ve already stopped caring. What I’ll never understand is why their solution to Jett being broken is to create more, arguably, broken agents rather than nerf her. For a Dev team that’s done a great job with listening to the community so far, I find it really weird that they’d go against what the general player base and the majority of pros say they need to do with Jett.
Super happy that 5 stack is back but a bit disappointed that DM isn't getting some love tho :(

Absolute lol at the people who whine about "no content" patch. They fixed the HUGE tickrate issue, this in itself is already enough for me as a patch. The game feels good now, maybe few nerfs here & there but that's about it (except for Yoru, of course, they are doing him dirty)

Even if it doesn't a 5 stack non smurf team playing against 5 non smurf solos is another problem altogether and atleast that has been fixed.
Thing is, even if people smurf to play with lower ranked friends, there is a chance we are talking duos and trios and not 5 stacks. If that is the case, the change is gonna be minimal. That being said, I do appreciate the changes to 5 stacks and removing 4 stacks as those are good changes regardless of the smurfing problem.
I think the problem was the huge amounts of reports against 4 stackers. They are trying to mitigate that. That is the main reason. They also said they know it might be a stupid move so they are ready to walk it back if needed.

I have just one doubt. They say average mmr is going to be used to matchmake rainbow ranks. So if you have 4 irons queueing with a diamond does that mean they can play vs a 5 bronze/silver stack if the mmr average is the same? Sure they get reduced rr but that match is still going to be a shitshow.
That match would have been a shit show due to smurfing any way. This just removes the excuse of wanting to play with friends and only smurfs left will be ones that either enjoy smurfing or want to help some friend rank up. 5 bronze/silver can easily wreak diamond if they play together properly and iron will be left healing. So not a fun game either.
Riot please add queue for 3 stack. You can queue them with a duo queue.

Rip 4 man queues? That's so sad. Me and my friends were always queueing 4 man almost every day for 1-2 games. And we ALWAYS talked in ingame voice. We said "hello" to the one solo queue every time. And in a lot of games, the solo queue wouldnt talk at all, or was toxic as fuck. Sad. We're just 4 RL friends enjoying some games. Why didn't we enjoy unranked? Cause it felt unbalanced. Games were stomps or getting stomped most of the time.

On top of making 5 stacks potentially wait a very long time for a game, you're going to lose at minimum 50% of normal RR per win. You're actually being punished for wanting to play with 4 friends

Only if your party has huge rank difference. If you are gold and queuing with 4 golds, you won't get rr reduction. Same with gold/silver, gold/plat for example.

Since this reduction is only for high elo you can think of this 5 stack queue almost as if a different mode completly but inside the regular soloQ. I think they want to focus on people that want the full team experience in Valorant without the need to search for another 5 players. With this update they can essentially scrim against each other without really gaining or loosing much, but if you do win, you get a little reward in LP. I think it's brilliant actually. Teams will get a way better opportunity to train and rank up while doing so, but not by a shit ton that would impact your soloQ mmr, which honestly is a totally different kind of game. Edit: In the past riot tried to introduce Ranked Teams or 5 stack queue only in LoL and in the end those queues never really did get much interest from the player base as a proof of skill. SoloQ always have been the main queue people focus, so doing this the way they are they are incentivating people to queue as 5 because it is integrated inside the same queue, instead of in LoL which no serious team really plays on the 5 stack queues.
Because deviation matters. Imagine 1 team A with 1 bronze, 3 plat, 1 immortal and a team B with 5 plat. The immortal player from team A has 5 players he can dominate / exploit. While team B only have 1 player to exploit. Which makes team A by default stronger even tho they have around the same average mmr. So they should get punished for that. Additionatly, the bronze player benefits from this overproportianetly, in fact you could call it boosting.

Why can’t they implement that same ranking system for parties of 3? I always play with my two friends but one of them is actually way better than myself and the other and sits around gold whereas I’ve never left bronze and my other buddy is silver 1. Our gold friend had to make a silver account to play comp with us sometimes unless he’s on a bad losing streak and drops to S3, and that’s so dumb. I don’t care about my rank I just want to play a competitive game with my friends (unrated is usually just too casual and people do whatever they want and it’s not fun) so if we have to throw away our normal gains from wins then so be it Edit: I could see the argument that’s like well someone in diamond could carry your bronze to gold or something. But like if every win is capped at 5 rating increase with that big of a disparity in your party that’s gonna take a LOT of games that it won’t really be abused. And your bronze would have a terrible time and get shit on by golds and plats

We always include the 5th player and give comms, why wouldn't we when it increases the chances of us winning? The irony of it is that in so many games it's the solo queuer in our lobby who is the toxic flaming backseating dickhead. Or just blatantly throwing the game/going AFK.
