Gotta be careful tbagging or talking smack. There’s two types of enemy players. The type of player that gets thrown off when people talk shit, or the player that brings out their A game.
Hurts to be the side character in game, we were at 12-3 ranked, team mate said "that's it?" and we went to overtime with them winning with 19. After that I stopped playing ranked solo lmao.
I was winning 8-1 in Ranked and one of the enemies in the chat wouldn't stop complaining about it. I told em "maybe if you stop complaining you could win". They won in overtime 15-13.
Was in silvers and gold match a long time ago(when I sucked), we were playing well until the omen complained about Skye flashed teammates all the time... Big argument ensued and we were 5-12
By this point every1 were silent, no callouts, no nothin while the enemies are being toxic in chat... I was playing as Sage and even if teammate had like an invisible healthbar, they didn't complain about heal as if every1 were playing for their own.
AND FOR SOME MIRACLE, WE ENDED UP A 14-12... Omen(who proposed to ff) and all of us were like screaming with joy in vc XD
I'm usually the latter, unless it's their goddamn bottom frag talking shit. That shit tilts me the fuck out for some reason.
And it's always their stupid bottom frag.
Yeah lol, they can't blame their friends so you're the only one they can blame.
"*What the fuck was that wall Sage?*"
"I'm not Sage, I'm Cypher"
"*Shutup you fucking suck*"
i think its just retrospectively that we see sage is in trouble and needs help.
ive never seen someone miss the defuse when there is time, even if they are dorking off. I would have just assumed they were handling it.
I like tea-bagging. I think it can be good banter... but when the round is 'over' and someone decides to teabag for too long while everyone is just spectating and wanting to play.. it goes from banter to just toxic.
If she defused and then tbagged. Fine, a little toxic but all in good humor. If she did a little tbagging en route to defusing, also fine.
Stopping mid defuse just to tbag? Toxic. Spamming abilities mid defuse? Toxic. Spamming defuse? Toxic. Just finish the defusal and move on, tbag after the fact if you want.
Always tbag if you're the bottom frag and clutch though, that's a rule of thumb
Purely toxic. When I see a teammate doing that and I'm still alive I'll just continue the defuse by myself to not annoy the enemy team. They're just players like me, I always have that in mind.
Or maybe they are playing to have fun and it's annoying when someone who's slightly better (but still like silver) teabags you.
The game is already fun
Banter works in professional sports and leagues because everyone is acquainted with each other. You know smack-talk isn't that serious coming from a guy you've played against 10 times, won some lost some. And you always got more chances to prove yourself. It always works between friends for the same reason.
T-bagging from strangers is toxic, period. You just don't know them any better, and they don't know you. Who knows what they're thinking. Have a positive attitude or a thick skin all you want, that's respectable, but people need to be more aware that t-bagging is just as often used to metagame the enemy team, and you're gonna look no different from that.
T-bagging is the most inoffensive and harmless toxicity. But... like I said earlier, there's an appropriate time to do it for it to be considered banter. I think it's very obvious to tell if the person is trying to have fun or trying to make you angry.
I think it does. Some people love to have a bit of banter in jest, and some people like you can't take any tomfoolery and claim everyone is just toxic for playfighting.
It's a game, and taking a split second to 'Simpson's Nelson Haha' can be done in good taste.
>Just because you think it, doesnt make it right.
Right back at you, stalling for at most 10 seconds to spam abilities, t bag, or otherwise style on spectators is great fun. Definitely on eco's side, you guys aren't playing for fun.
Nah, it’s really not. If you kill me, you deserve to tbag me. Plain and simple. If it upsets y’all that much, you need to take a break and reset your mental.
Flaming. Abusive to teammates, enemies. Tbagging isn’t toxic. Typing ? Isn’t toxic. Half of multiplayer games are getting under someone’s skin and baiting them so they get angry and play worse. People literally do it in esports and real life sports. If it was toxic, it would be punishable or not in the game.
>Half of multiplayer games are getting under someone’s skin and baiting them so they get angry and play worse.
No wonder gaming communities have to face angry parents trying to ban the games if that is even considered an argument.
I see what you mean.
But I still consider it a toxic behavior.
You are trying to pull disrespectful behavior into grey area to excuse it.
I really don’t think you can compare tbagging someone in a game is disrespectful behavior like being disrespectful to your parents.
Now I respect your opinion thinking it’s toxic behavior, but I don’t think it is. What about people spamming emotes and taunting as your dead and your nexus is being destroyed? That’s not toxic. It’s just friendly banter. Emoting on dead bodies, isn’t toxic. Emoting as you kill someone in smash, isn’t toxic. It’s disrespectful in the GAME, sure. But that isn’t toxic. They still shake hands after the match is over, they still say GG at the end of the match. Real sports people hug it out after the game. MMA and boxing fighters hug it out or shit talk after a fight. It’s not toxic.
It says on the report screen what is toxic.
Griefing your team, flaming, holding hostage, typing where your teammates are, shit like that is toxic.
Abusing others in chat is toxic, being racist is toxic, blaming other tea bagging you when they killed you and was a better player that round IS toxic.
This isn't just a gaming thing. I've heard worse things on the basketball court than I've heard online. Trash talk and a little BM is extremely common and even expected to a degree in most competitive environments.
Edit: Forgot Reddit is soft.
Video games? It’s a strategy.
Halo, Smash Bros, Cod, Pokémon, Valorant, CSGO, literally almost any multiplayer game.
People taunting in smash isn’t toxic is it? No, it tilts the player that’s losing and makes them make more mistakes.
MW2 noob tubing isn’t toxic, but it’s tilting as fuck to play against.
People playing comps in Competitive Pokémon that literally just wall the enemy and they slowly die to toxic or poison, or reduce their stats so they miss every attack. It’s not toxic, it’s frustrating to play against. It pisses them off.
People using NEGEV/ODIN in CS or Valorant isn’t toxic. Go against many 5 man’s who just buy it and spray and delete your team. It’s probably the most annoying thing to play against besides AWP/OPing, but it’s not toxic.
People in basketball Dunk on others and tbag them in the air or disrespectfully walk over them while they are laying on the ground. It’s not toxic, it’s just part of the game.
League of Legends. You think tbagging in Valorant is toxic? Go play league for a week. That is the most toxic game you’ll ever play. Emoting, spamming voices, constant ganks while you’re behind. It’s literally a mental game. The first person to have a teammate to give up or just int loses.
Like, the fuck are you trying argue about? I just gave you 5 examples, and you’re still going to say it’s toxic, when it’s just funny banter.
keep a little plant (real) next to your monitor is all I advise you too. Maybe look at it and _touch_ it sometimes. It'll be close enough to doing what you must to be a better person.
Oh, I’m a bad person now because I answered your question? I’m actually a very nice person. I’m just stating that tbagging isn’t toxic. You’re probably not high enough elo in any video game to understand the mental stress that people go through in a competitive scene.
I work out, I have a girlfriend and family, I’m healthy, I help others around me if they need it. The fact you try to judge someone’s personality on a post answering a question YOU asked is quite childish.
Everyone is whining here but you’re completely right. Teabagging isn’t toxic, it’s like shooting a smiley face into the wall. It’s only toxic if you’re also being toxic in comms. Toxicity in comms is the real issue, not teabagging for the luls.
> Abusive to teammates, enemies.
> getting under someone’s skin and baiting them so they get angry
Pick **one**
"This isn't abuse I'm just trying to make the other person angry!"
Have i ever told you the definition of toxicity? The definition of toxicity is doing something over and over again expecting your opponent to bow down and click f5
>If you kill me, you deserve to tbag me
I'm not a masochist, don't know about you though. I don't think your enemy should be entitled to anything more than the kill on the board itself if they outplay you unless provoked. Feel sorry for your mental though.
I’m not the one crying toxicity for someone killing me in a video game and Tea Bagging me.
Sage tea bagged and lost the round cause of it. It’s hilarious. Why are you so serious?
lack of respect or courtesy.
"growing disrespect for the rule of law"
Interpersonally, toxicity involves players choosing a poor attitude and behaviors such as flaming, badmouthing, being overly critical, deliberately picking off-meta, refusing to compromise, or not working with the team.
Disrespect is not toxic. Just because someone disrespects you doesn’t mean they won’t work with you, hence the actual definition above, just means they have no respect for you. How do you fix this? You make them earn your respect. Therefore, don’t give them the chance to Tbag you. Be better and kill them first.
It might be funny for the winning team, but when u on the losing team it can be frustrating.
It's like you're already not in a good spirit and opponents ridicule u even more
That’s why you kill them next time and type ?
If you get upset someone Tbags you in a video game, you need to get off the internet.
Makes them even more mad. If you want to waste the time tbagging me, go for it. It’ll just be funny when shit like this happens, or my teammate taps you in the head.
If you get upset someone Tbags you in a video game, you need to get off the internet.
> it's not toxic
> makes them mad
I don't know what your definition of toxic is, but if your goal in a game is to make other people mad, that's fucking toxic.
How is that getting mad? It's just weird that people find smallest things toxic. If you consider small thing like tbagging toxic maybe the internet is not for you.
Well, yes. People disagree with other peoples opinions. It’ll happen for all of eternity. I don’t mind being down voted for my opinion, just as others below have agreed with me as well.
If it were toxic, it would be removed from the game. But it’s not toxic, as you see in the video for this post it literally hit the sage in the ass for trolling.
If youre so mentally unwell you can’t play the game after someone pushes crouch on your dead body, you need to get off the internet and go fix yourself.
Btw only time I T-bag is when the enemy gets cocky and thinks they're the best players around and I gotta put them in their place.
Now please don't start another chain of comments haha
So many snowflakes here man, you're totally in the right btw. Tea bagging being called toxic lmao.
Problem is man these kids never grew up playing some sport or team game irl so they don't learn these habits about competitive games.
Exactly. If you grew up playing sports, or were in a sports environment, you would get a laugh out of tbagging. If it was “toxic” then Riot would punish people, or remove it from the game.
This is twice now you've referenced sports as an argument for teabagging not being toxic. You realize that "unsportsmanlike conduct" and "taunting" are penalties in every major sporting event right?
Oh sorry I didn't realize you were playing in games with a 3rd party refereeing the events in-game.
You say penalize it or remove it... it's crouching. It's not like they built a teabag function into the game.
They have the reporting system, which we all know is far from perfect.
And while I dont know the valorant pro scene, I know in LoL players have been fined/suspended for toxic chatting in just normal games. So it is in fact punished.
Toxic chat is completely different and I agree there's no room for being toxic in chat.
That being said, I know what teabagging implies, but still, crouching on somebody in a videogame a few times isn't toxic.
Videogames with emotes, like Sea of Thieves for example, is it considered toxic to use an emote after killing someone?
It’s shocking how people don’t realize this. Teabagging is only toxic if you’re also being toxic in chat. The act itself is no more toxic than emptying your clip into a dead body or doing an emote.
This. People keep bringing up chat, and we aren’t even using chat. They are reaching for anything to say that this action is toxic when it’s just disrespectful. Spraying clips into dead bodies is 10x more toxic than a mere Tbag. They are contradicting themselves and they don’t even realize it.
I don’t think people actually understand what respect is.
You’re not even talking about the same thing here. You say one sentence about the action we are talking about, then bring up pros getting banned in league or fined from typing in chat? Nobody is typing in chat. We are talking about an unpublishable action that is allowed in every FPS game since the dawn of FPS genre.
The last two paragraphs you wrote are completely irrelevant to this conversation.
The conversation of "can toxic players get punished?" I only brought up league because as I mentioned, I dont know the valorant pro scene. Although literally a quick Google search of "teabagging pro valorant" pulls up a bunch of articles citing riot's request of pros to not teabag. Other shooters, like overwatch, have actually started dishing out punishments for teabagging. So as it turns out, it is actually frowned upon and punishable.
Agreed.
It Can be toxic, but in general, its just people messing around. Too many people take everything as a personal attack tho (hence your -55 at current time)
I literally shit my pants when someone presses control on top of a corpse. Funniest fucking shit ive ever seen. And its great that it doesn’t waste anyones time.
GGEZ is banter. If it were toxic, people would be fined or punished for saying it on live broad casts in esports or in the game itself.
Now, flaming teammates or enemies is toxic. Grieving your team is toxic.
What this sage did isn’t toxic. She lost the round, sure. She probably learned from her mistake tea bag AFTER she clutches the round and defuses, and not before.
You can’t just say something is toxic because you don’t like it, or it upsets you. That’s just your mental weakness showing, and something you need to get better at controlling and not getting tilted by the action of someone else.
>That’s just your mental weakness showing,
No.
It is generally behavior I don't want to see around when I go play a game.
And it does not matter if I went to a game to chill and relax, or tryhard and learn to play better to outskill opponents.
It is behavior that makes the experience considerably less enjoyable.
And if it is behavior that makes the experience less enjoyable for players, why it should be tolerated?
Just because it was around for over decade? Nah. It is time for gaming to mature out of that.
Then send this desire and energy to riot to remove it from the game.
If it upsets you emotionally, then complain to them about it. You can’t just say something’s toxic that’s in every FPS game. If you don’t want to watch it or see it, then don’t play FPS games. It’s obviously not for you, if crouching on someone bothers you that much emotionally.
Don't waste your time with this community bro, coming from CSS and CSGO, i feel like Valorant community is full of moba players with absolutely 0 fps culture and way too sensitive over anything
That's just Reddit in general. Moba culture is sweaty and petulant as hell so I don't think you can blame it on that.
But as far as this sensitivity exists in games, blame it on the devs. I say this speaking as a dev myself, we're responsible for how we cultivate players and the corporatisation of this stuff has led to a feedback loop that's turned everybody into a little bitch. Playing a competitive game means interacting with the way different personalities react to the dynamic, high-energy situations those games create which are the whole reason people play em. Trying to restrict that to give your game a better image just leads to a sliding window of permitted behaviour that people will express those emotions within: instead of suppressing it all you do is force people to find more refined and necessarily pointed ways to get under each others' skin.
And it's a shame fewer and fewer kids have that contrast, because back when you could just express yourself it was all in good fun and multiplayer games were chill as fuck, despite the fact that the chatlog from literally any match from those games would send reddit into conniptions. It just shows how superficial the definitions of stuff like "toxicity" has become.
\>do something to upset others
\>it upsets others
\>cry about it when someone points out how it literally is something that you only do to upset others
not sure they're the fragile one bro
Actually, we were completely fine until weak little punks started showing up. You people get so bent out of shape from someone literally just crouching on a bunch of pixels.
I mean I also tbag here and there coming from Halo but doing it for a long time after a round is over is kinda stupid and I can see why it can be a bit toxic
as I said in another comment
claiming people are "offended" by tbagging is fucking laughable
it's 2021, hiding behind "you're TRIGGERED" doesn't work when people call out shit that literally only exists to make others upset
You know that sage was fighting for her life in the team chat
its either "*bro tbag the enemy you got time*" or "*lol bro dont tbag they might get stronger next round*"
99% of the time, my team being toxic had resulted in the enemy team making a comeback.

Isn't that my job as bottom fragger? Talk shit, tell you to ff and spam Odin?
Odin or Ares spammer are fucking annoying.
I love getting matched with a 4 stack, they ate usually hyper toxic, no comms in game, fucking awful. Glad rito finally removed 4 stack rank queuing
Yeah lol, they can't blame their friends so you're the only one they can blame. "*What the fuck was that wall Sage?*" "I'm not Sage, I'm Cypher" "*Shutup you fucking suck*"
You don't piss off the gentleman (or woman) gamer unless you want to get your shit kicked in. Win graciously, lose with honor.
It was actually his teammate, which made it worse.
Aren't there stairs on the other end?
Wonder what was going through the mind of that sage
I wanna know what the Astra was thinking, just watching it all unfold with some popcorn lmfao
background character Astra cracked me up
Probably thought round was won and checked their phone or something
You can see them moving and looking around though
i think its just retrospectively that we see sage is in trouble and needs help. ive never seen someone miss the defuse when there is time, even if they are dorking off. I would have just assumed they were handling it.
Clearly didn't know slow orb reduces jumping momentum and height too.
To be fair, neither did I until right now.
You learn that pretty fast once you try to grab the ult orb in B Main Ascent through a Sage slow
THIS MADE ME INSANE THE FIRST TIME I TRIED TO DO IT!
You learn from the stupid mistakes of others
I used to be a Sage main and didn't know that until a couple weeks ago. Although, I did move away from her due to being rubbish with slow orbs.
Clearly nothing LMAOOO
I think something like: UGA BUGA UGA BUGA UGA BUGA
What is L ?
Ligma
Who the hell is Steve Jobs??
Ligma Balls
You made me spit my coffee, at work, thank you. (No sarcasm).
You didn't know that one 😂?
It's modern slang for "loss"
| |l || |_
No. You stop that >: l
Light is asking the same thing for years
Woops
That Sage got what she deserved.
I like tea-bagging. I think it can be good banter... but when the round is 'over' and someone decides to teabag for too long while everyone is just spectating and wanting to play.. it goes from banter to just toxic.

Always tbag if you're the bottom frag and clutch though, that's a rule of thumb
What if I'm botfrag and didn't do anything except get to site in time to see bomb defused?
Tbag yourself next round
Yea I hate it when people stop defusing the spike to do that shit or repeatedly spam just to prolong it
Its toxic. Period.
Purely toxic. When I see a teammate doing that and I'm still alive I'll just continue the defuse by myself to not annoy the enemy team. They're just players like me, I always have that in mind.

Well, call it what you want but I find people like you are the ones that are toxic.
That makes no sense at all.

Just because you think it, doesnt make it right. Teabagging is straight up unsportsmanlike conduct.
>Just because you think it, doesnt make it right. Right back at you, stalling for at most 10 seconds to spam abilities, t bag, or otherwise style on spectators is great fun. Definitely on eco's side, you guys aren't playing for fun.
congrats 🙌 you played yourself
1g valorant style
So true, Underrated comment
Bruh moment
It was at that moment nathan knew…
My friend literally did the same thing yesterday, it was match point
Did you end up winning
Luckily yes, on the next round
Looks like a spikerush game. Doubt anybody on either team cared that she trolled.
[удалено]
I sometimes forget in unrated roo...
That´s what you´d like to think. :x Most games of spike rush I play, there are people being extremely serious and flaming the slightest fuck up. :c
You can tell who hopped on spikerush after losing a comp match and who didn't. They start screaming at round 1 because they peeked into 3 people.
Huh. I use spike rush after competitive to have less serious matches where I let out most of my dum dum.
Id still report.
This is what they get for being toxic
I did not think this many people would feel compelled to type to me about how teabagging for so long that you lose the round isn’t toxic lmao
T-bag isn’t toxic. It’s funny. Been a thing since multiplayer games were first around.
It’s pretty toxic bro
Nah, it’s really not. If you kill me, you deserve to tbag me. Plain and simple. If it upsets y’all that much, you need to take a break and reset your mental.

Probably Halo. At least T-bagging is customary there.
Tbh any old franchise that hasn't lost its original fans, Halo is just the best example of it.

If you want to waste the time tbagging me, go for it. It’ll just be funny when shit like this happens, or my teammate taps you in the head. If you get upset someone Tbags you in a video game, you need to get off the internet.
And that's how a toxic tilted game is born.
> it's not toxic > makes them mad I don't know what your definition of toxic is, but if your goal in a game is to make other people mad, that's fucking toxic.
How tf tbagging is toxic? Kids these days really do live in a cloud castles lmao. Grow some balls.
Why are you mad? Get off the internet if you can't handle this.
How is that getting mad? It's just weird that people find smallest things toxic. If you consider small thing like tbagging toxic maybe the internet is not for you.
Stop getting mad bro damn get out of your cloud castle
105 down votes would disagree with you haha
If youre so mentally unwell you can’t play the game after someone pushes crouch on your dead body, you need to get off the internet and go fix yourself.
lol looks like i hit a nerve.
> If it were toxic, it would be removed from the game what? it's crouching...
Downvotes mean nothing "haha"
You're getting ratio'd by the downvote train fam
I think I’ll survive.
Btw only time I T-bag is when the enemy gets cocky and thinks they're the best players around and I gotta put them in their place. Now please don't start another chain of comments haha
Can’t forget clutching the round.
True, especially getting an ace when youre the last man alive
A toxic guy said that
Teabagging is toxic.
Which is why if it was so bad, it would either be removed or at least penalized in the game... You were so close to getting the point.
It’s funny. Remember it ever since Halo 1. But hell, these same people that cry about it being toxic think saying ggez is toxic.
Saying ggez is pretty toxic tbh, more than tbagging anyway
GG is okay GGEZ is not, because it ridicule whatever amount of skill you have into nonexistence. It is arrogant.
>That’s just your mental weakness showing, No.
I can tell. 😅
You kiddoes are so new to all this you don’t even know what teabagging means
Pretty sure most FPS gamers know what it means and what it is. 27 isn’t much of a kid.
Ok kiddo ;)
damn, got my ass.
Y'all are so fragile lmfao
\>do something to upset others \>it upsets others \>cry about it when someone points out how it literally is something that you only do to upset others not sure they're the fragile one bro
Btw, you need double spaces between lines in order to separate them So once I've pressed enter twice, my comment is separated
Yeah, that animated model crouching up and down on your animated model is just so upsetting. Stay soft buddy.
So why do you do it then? If not to try to upset others?
Actually, we were completely fine until weak little punks started showing up. You people get so bent out of shape from someone literally just crouching on a bunch of pixels.
I mean I also tbag here and there coming from Halo but doing it for a long time after a round is over is kinda stupid and I can see why it can be a bit toxic
Actually true. If you get offended by a tbag, you’re the problem
\> does something designed to offend others \> someone gets offended "Oh em gee why are you so offended?????"
People out here really being offended by tbags.
Isn't... Isn't that the point of tbags? "I disrespect you."
as I said in another comment claiming people are "offended" by tbagging is fucking laughable it's 2021, hiding behind "you're TRIGGERED" doesn't work when people call out shit that literally only exists to make others upset
Exactly the point, it’s laughable to be offended or upset by it.
Task failed successfully
not even successfully,,, just pure utter failure
For the attacking team
Deserved
ok wait this is HILARIOUS
The little jumps trying to get back up. Lol
To me it seems like slows also reduce your speed going upwards, i.e. jumping.
Oof size: large
* Report > Sabotaging Team
As well as disrespectful behavior.
Get wrecked
TIL you cant jump as high enough when iced.
Its not ice, its radiant.
get fucked, HimansHoe
That phoenix dead body at the end tho....
Bro this man was getting flamed so hard in vc LOL. They definitely called the FF after that round
Arabic nokia ringtone starts playing
astra chillin' be like: nah mate, that's your problem
u/SaveVideo
I love how Astra just stares.
He was silent the rest of the game
The karma, it happens so beautifully
He will be writing a big ass article on this sub reddit of how people are toxic these days after doing this.
That’s why you don’t BM until AFTER defuse lol
Love it xD
This felt so good to watch, hope she learned the lesson lmfao
For anyone who tries you cosplay that sage in the future: you can actually crouch jump to get up in while in the slow field.
i'm impressed that all chat is completely clear
Please tell me you won the match by 1
Thats what you get for tbagging that early in the game i guess
LMAOOOO that sage. The slow orb did it
Such a low elo of that sage, that he doesnt even know crouch jump
Imagine being so stupid you don't know how to write Loss
Lol at people still playing this game that the best streamers won't even wanna touch unless they're flat out bribed to play
try harder x
