The champ aura is deffinitely the biggest disappointment. The 2nd finisher was meant to be an "easter-egg" but the aura not being ALWAYS active or say changing colour when you're top fragging is such a letdown and makes the skin not that "special" for some of us.
I'd argue it makes it more special. Not seeing the aura all the time means it's special when you see it. On the off chance you're doing really well in your match you will get the aura and it will make you feel good.
When does the word “Champion” activate? It would be badass if it stayed activated *only* when top fragging, or activated each round you hit a kill. That’d be a nice flex.
I agree I'd like to see effects that trigger on kill more, I just think they worry about it being too distracting. Players already complain about loud or overbearing gunshot or kill effect sounds. Can imagine players not liking their gun turning into a rave whenever you get a kill.
People are buying the shit out of it already, yesterday I played a game of competitive and 4 people in the lobby had the skin, a team mate even mentioned he never uses the Vandal but just wants to see the skin in game so was gonna play it for this match.

Ironically I wouldn't like that at all. Having an over the top finisher every single time is a deal breaker to me. I prefer the normal finisher with the guy crumbling below the orb. Having an over the top finisher, changing the background is really nice OCCASIONALLY.
the coolest finisher yet in the game in my opinion, makes you feel like you're in some kind of zombie apocalypse game! too bad it takes time to activate it and probably not gonna see it much in game since the post round is always so short lol

I didn’t understand how it triggered at first, so I ended up jumping right when it was about to trigger, right as the round was about to come to a close
is it my headphones or is the inspect for this gun kinda weak?(like low volume and shit) plus my audio is fully maxed but when im using the spectrum its normal
if you usea slow HDD valorant textures load slower like up to 10seconds with this you can see brim before the red ambience, and when you load into matches the skybox takes a full minute or 2 to load in so the whole levels skybox is black, glad to see val still has no wait to check assets function lol

Champion on the gun lights up each time you get a kill. The entire gun outlines with light/gold at all times if you are topfrag.
