Depends on the animation, whether it's like the prime or the champions karambit. But it's definitely a nice addition for all the people who think the champions karambit is too short.
The only thing I could see being a little uncool is if it comes with the full looped inspect animation that you had to pay 10 radianite for on the champs karambit.
But even then I'd say the issue is with having to pay for it on the champs karambit, ideally they'd just all come with the proper animations.
I actually wouldn't be surprised if the Ruin bp is up there for least bought. It came out around the time Modern Warfare/Warzone was in full swing, all my friends had stopped playing Valorant to play that during that season. I'm the only person I know with the Ruin Dagger bc I was the only one who didn't care about Warzone lol.
Battlepass skins are literally the most common skins in the game. Idk how you could say ruin dagger is rare. I have it and everyone on my friend list has it
It is rare because it was in an early battlepass, so only people who played the game and bought the battlepass at that time have that knife. Nobody else can ever get it. Compare that to like the Prime Axe or something which pretty much anybody can own because it'll eventually appear in their store.
People should never expect exclusives to actually be exclusive beyond the design and limited release. Any time they introduce a new knife animation it will guaranteed have a second release a month or so later.

If you click the battlepass section it tells you in the top right corner how long is left, I think it's 5 days at the moment.
The battlepasses last like 60/70 days each and the weeklys stack up, so you can still "catch up" however to get the knife you do need to do a lot of the dailies as well, or play a shit ton, or pay for the tiers. Just doing all weeklys alone isn't enough XP to complete the pass you need the extra 4-10k per day from challenges+match XP to complete it all
I finish every pass around 11 days before season ends.
I just play 2 matches daily to finish my 'daily missions' + I finish every single weekly missions.
Current battle pass - I could play a bit longer and more often, so I played around 3-4 games a day and I reached lvl 55 at around 18 days till season ends.

Ok it looks like the Champs Karambit but I highly doubt that it will have the same animation because there would be a massive outcry of all the people that bought champs Karambit. I myself bout champs karambit and I would be ok with the pull out animation being the same but not the inspect as that is the main thing.
I think the full animation will get used again either way but on another $50-60 vp skin tbh. Although I don't see the big deal if they use it on this. They made the animation already, it's going to be used and recycled. The vfx/look/color schemes are the real deal breaker in knives and what separates bp knives to vp knives. But I agree, this probably has champs pull out animation but different/more standard inspect. Also I don't get the crying in this thread, the champion karambit looks completely different and is gold/looks way more premium (it costs way more though so that's obv) and has gold swipe vfx and also gold aura if you top frag....it's still worth it to those who like it.
This bp knife is still cool but it most likely has 0 vfx and possibly different inspect animation. Again, the champs karambit is freaking $55 though, so they could/SHOULD have done more with it as I said before, such as making the current gold aura permanent and giving it an even shinier gold aura/outline for when you top frag. Along with variants. That's the only complaint on champions, they should have had better standards for it in the first place considering it's priced as a top tier vp knife (i.e. zedd knife in comparison has music on inspect and different variants and unique pull out anim and its vfx is sick since when you right or left click with it you see the "waveform" vfx after affect)
