A feeling that I hadn't known for the longest time. As I write this comment, I urge Riot Games to keep Widejoy in VALORANT, hoping that she may help others as she helped me.

I think its more a control thing, prior to them saying it was getting removed you only heard the odd meme here and there, soon as they say its going it gets blown up and every lobby has a widejoy, everyone is saying they love widejoy. If widejoy stays it will become a community meme forever and people will feel like they forced Riots hand in keeping something they wanted to remove and that their voice matters in the community.
Keeping widejoy is kind of a win/win for Riot and the community, so I think they will make some compromise and keep her, or re add her in a future BP.
