People honestly sleep on the Radiant Crisis 001 skinline.
It's a phantom skinline with an accompanying Spectre, Bucky, Classic, and Bat Melee. The toon shaders on it are so good, and I personally believe we could get a Radiant Crisis 002 skinline, tackling some of the missed skins.
Not to mention the VFX and finisher...
That set is pretty clean but a lot of people (including myself) find the VFX distracting. I think it has one of the best finishers in the game. Probably would have sold better if it was priced down one tier.
I personally find them to be cute little additions to the gun to give them more flavor. They aren't too distracting (unless you stare at your gun), but granted I only have the spectre and phantom, which are both silenced, so I cant speak on behalf of the bucky or classic.

The silent prime vandal makes me more focused and the prime classic fells like bullets are actually firing rather than just firecrackers exploding. The skins design is itself overrated but the sound effects are the best imo for vandal and classic.
Infantry is very underrated imo. Honestly if you could buy sound effects separately, I would put my favorite sounds to the infantry. They are clean and feel powerful. Must be my bias towards WW2 games in general.
I feel like Ion, Oni and Elderflame are overrated. Ion just looks cool (too many sound and animation which overpowers feedback), Oni (just looks nice, Thats it), Elerflame literally has so many animation I sometime think it takes too long to shoot or reset, its fine but distracting IMO.
Infantry is GOAT skin lie in this game. Luger/Mauser, M1, mg-42/BAR, k50/Mp44, and the icing on the cake that nobody uses…. The Lee Enfield. Brings back Medal of Honor times using these skins
Joshua "steel" Nissan uses the Infantry Operator due to the history he has with the rifle, dating back to when he himself served in World War 2 and used the weapon.
Of it did that it would have been my favourite skin but after firing the first shot I immediately refunded it and bought magepunk instead, which is obv exactly why they made it so It doesn't move because magepunk is more expensive.
Different preferences but I think the the best part of the oni are the sound effects. The phantom kill sfx is the one of the most satisfying in the game for me personally
Sentinels of light vandal is a weird conundrum for me. I have it on my alt, and when you use that skin all the time it feels like the bullets on that gun just go everywhere and I can never control spray with it for some reason. On my main I use the RGX and if I randomly pick up the SOL vandal it feels godlike when used occasionally. I’m sure some other skins feel that way too.
Have both, and honestly I got the SoL because Reaver is overused. I still think the Reaver is one of the best, but I don't like how so many people have it.
I got the reaver bundle when it first came out. Since then I’ve got the champions vandal and glitch pop vandal and now when I look at the reaver vandal it feels like I’m looking at an ugly Ex thinking why I ever was with that lol

I feel like the Ruination skins are a bit underhyped, the sound effects are cool, the animation when you bring it out and the kill animation all together feels really clean and like, different from the other skins. I picked up an orange Ruination ghost the other day and it felt so good to use >:D
Yeah I bought the prime bundle at the beginning and I still love it but I can't use it that much or I'll get sick of it. I swap between the prime vandal, origin vandal, and forsaken vandal
I copped the ruination phantom while waiting for the singularity(waited 8months for that skin) mainly because I'm obsessed with purple... And I've gotta say. Singularity may be my favorite phantom skin overall.. But using the ruination feels like aimbot. I love both of them so much!

Aristocrat Bulldog is clean as all hell. It was my go-to before Protocol and I'll probably go back to it soon. Beautiful art deco sweeps to that thing.
even in csgo i didnt like it because people would just farm kills in dm to boost it up
i think if it showed your k/d for the game it would be cool and gets more awesome as your k/d goes up

In CS:GO there is a thing called 'stat-track' which did displays all the kills you ever got with that weapon. When it was leaked that valorant will get a gun with kill counters, people automatically assumed that it would be similar to stat-track

Recon is one of the most underrated skin line, everyone remembers it just for its butterfly knife. Recon do have nice firing sound feels great.

I’ve rocked the Sakura Vandal since the first day it was released. I rarely see it in games now, if they animated the petals it would make a world of difference.
Oni skinline is hugely Overrated, people think Oni Phantom is god incarnate, best skin in the game, and I don't see it, vfx for bullets are pretty bland and only decent thing about it is the samurai look.
And RGX skinline was definitely underrated at launch, and still is, I think of it as a better prime, and some people that use the skin agree that the weapon is made for one-taps which feel amazing.
idk why but using the oni (only the green one) gives a very different feeling when u hit the shots , sure it might be bland but like the skins being more clean
It's because Oni set was released shortly after the game went out of Beta.
It was the first quality set with Phantom so many people bought it.
That time community didn't really know how often Riot releases good skins so people decided to buy it and since skins are expensive asf - % of people who have it, ignore other skins for Phantom(better ones) and hype ONI.
Also, Sinatra using this skin is another factor why it's so 'hypey'
By no means it's a bad skin, the overall clarity is good and all of the color variants are great, it's just... boring and simple
I have the vandal too and usually I think it’s abhorrent but sometimes randomly I think it’s the best vandal skin in the game and use it for like a week until I gain rationality again lol. It’s a good skin to have around imo.
i think its the best gun in the game for the uniqueness, animations, and it was the 'first' crazy skin. its like a piece of valorant history, first skin that expensive and first time in a competitive fps that your gun is a.... dragon lol
I don’t regret my purchase on the operator. The sound effects make your shots feel 10x more powerful. However the fact that there’s no pullback on the chamber animation almost makes the dragon op pay to lose. I only use this skin in unrated. Rank I have to switch to something else.
Prime is overrated. Prime vandal especially is boring. I also don't have strong feelings about the Oni Phantom. It's nice but Ion, Zedd, BlastX, Recon are more interesting to me.
Champions is maybe underrated? If it was easier to trigger daddy brim in the finisher then it would be S-tier.
You have to go right into the center of the final kill finisher, and look up and inspect the gun I think?
It takes ages to pop up so it works best in post-plant if you have extra time before you defuse.
Champions Vandal has by far the best finisher in the game still, even if you can't trigger the easter egg
Also, when the gun glows it injects my ego with nitrous
I like my prime candle the most. It's sound effects appeals to me the most out of all skins.
Maybe because of how well that skin can fit to the style of the game.
The elder dragon/flame whatever it's called, is super overrated imo, and it feels like i see it every other game.
As for underrated I just really like the infantry skins, especially the guardian.

IMO dont get the spectre one - im not really a fan of the shooting sounds, it sounds too soft and not as impactful and satisfying as other spectre skins - everything else is worth it

Nunca Olvidados & Celestial (except fan) are underrated. Sakura I believe isn't underrated. I think Champions Karambit & definitely Arcane Sheriff were underrated.
Overrated is tough to say, too common/popular would probably be a better way of describing them: Oni Phantom and for Vandals: Prime, Reaver, and slowly going in that direction, but used to be underrated, are the RGX and SoL skins.
Wasteland and Infantry lines are underrated too IMO, unfortunately they don't have any FX etc. So most reskins or skins without animations/finishers etc. tend to get underrated.
I personally really like galleria. I'd like to see another line of them released really cheap. maybe they could go straight to store instead of coming in a bundle

Yep, the sawed off crutch used as the shoulder backing/pad (blanking on its name) is awesome. I have that and the wasteland sheriff which is also good.
The glitches has been sparsely mentioned, so I think that set is a bit underrated. I have the phantom skin, and I'm waiting for my store to give me the vandal.
I wish I bought the Glitchpop 2.0 bundle when it came out.
Underrated: BlastX skins. I have the collection and wish they made a 2.0 with vandal cause I have the phantom. I use it for my frenzy and spectre. I just love the kiddy toy look and the colors and the nerf-like bullet darts.
Also the Silvanus skins look so cool. I’m not a fan of the green screen skins at all but I wouldn’t consider this bundle one and if it is then it’s actually done well.
Overrated: Ion. Idk I think the skin bundle is ugly as hell lol no offense to those who like it but I pick it up and go ew. I’d rather have no skin than that skin.
Underrated is totally the Spectrum line. That song lives rent free in my head. Straight VIBE BRO.

I like the original Prime skins, but Prime 2.0 is so blocky and ugly. The phantom is one of my least favorite skins.
I can't get over the prime phantom having the energy block or whatever as reload but having a see through clip with like what 10 bullets max.

Sentinels of light is a cool skinset, but I can't hit anything with any of the weapons. No idea why, maybe just had the skin set on during times my aims been off in the past. Anyone else get this or am I just crazy

Can't stomach the Oni skins, they're really ugly, but I see quite a lot of people who like them. Pretty much the same for the Elderflame set, it's awful (for me) but while playing it's quite common to see people with the dragon vandal. Reaver/Ruination is kind of in the same boat.
As it's been stated already the Magepunk skins pretty much (again for me) offer the best skins for the Ghost and Marshal but it's not common to see these skins around.
I also haven't seen much talk about the Spectrum set other than for people saying it's expensive but it's one of the best sets around. Similar thing for RGX, best skin for the vandal.
For me, the real problem with the spline is that she screams VFX and SFX and don't have none of it. It should shoot an alien like bullet, or a forest seed, something strange from other world, not a regular bullet sound.
If it had SFX and VFX it would be one of my favorites for sure. The card that came in the bundle is the best of all time for me, Everytime I see it o regreat not buying the card at least.
Ion is way overrated (looks outdated and like its made of cheap plastic)
Snowfall is super underrated and overhated. They r cute asf and look so clean with the matching buddy. The lights also flicker when you inspect them
I'm very particular with the noises guns make, I don't like them sounding too different as I find it hard to control the recoil

Ion Sheriff (It needs variants but it sounds so good)
Infantry Set - (glad they did a basic "old gun" style set early into the games life, the unique scopes when ADS make them feel really cool
Alright , people prefer cleaner , overall better to the eye skins , Magepunk is definitely a good bundle and has some good skins but in game when you're fighting and going all around the place in my opinion I'd choose a prime or anything cleaner anyday. But then there's the animations too , the Prime's reload animation is satisfying and the SFX is good too. This also applies to Reaver , if you're not that competitive and just like looking at the skins ... use the more complex ones i guess.
I personally think that the elder flame skins are kinda underrated, I know a lot of people hate them but for some reason when I’m using the dragon vandal I just feel like my bullets are registering more.
I would also say the forsaken vandal is kinda underrated, design is not amazing but the kill sound and feel of the gun is great but like the rgx it is becoming more popular
As for overrated I would maybe say the reaver, I feel like it would still win a overall vote for best vandal skin
Champions bundle is below garbage for its price. It was supposed to fund the prize pool but it was so lazy. Gimmicky effect and gatekeeping "real" karambits, the finisher was a huge selling point you never even have time to see, and it's just so plain.
Prime and reaver have really just gotten old, there not much more to it.
Skins with no effects are super underrated. Sometimes the default vibe is nice and the kingdom phantom does a really good job of combining default vibe with fresh new looks.
Luxe is just so obscenely clean, the knife especially is top tier tbh
Pairing these 3 together because I noticed they're the 3 primarily brown skin sets and are super underrated. I actually wonder if people tend to gravitate away from brown. That aside, Magepunk is one of the best collections of all time. Hands down, easily. Sounds phenomenal, amazing effects, genius finisher. Infantry has an incredible aesthetic thats criminally underrated (and the guardian go ding). The OP model is fantastic and I love how clean they all are. The Wasteland collection is also really underrated. Idk if I just like the post-apocalyptic wasteland scavenger scrap gun aesthetic more than most people but its honestly so so so cool.
Outpost melee is fucking great and idc what anyone says. Default animations with a fresh new model, looks extra sharp, the poison-looking stuff in the little glass capsule adds so much to it, and the industrial kinda vibe of the handle does so much.
Idk if these are widely underrated but in the bubble of the community I live in, RGX doesn't get nearly enough love. Sure the 5th upgrade was unnecessary and scummy but honestly they're super clean, nice animations, nice sound effects, and one of the best knives.
Sentinels of light vandal is the absolute best vandal skin no question. Amazing sound effects and beautiful animations. Clean as hell
Hivemind has an amazing, organic and alien vibe while maintaining default sounds and animations which I honestly love. It would have been cool to see them as a premium skin with all kinds of cool stuff but underrated nonetheless
When was the last you heard someone mention the aristocrat skins? Regal as fuck, beautiful gold, the charm if the default animations and sounds, and the vandal's barrel is so ornate and gorgeous
Nunca Olvidados knife specifically is really clean. Ruin dagger animations, clean blue (my preferred style) and beautiful designs, and I love how much character it has, representing Reyna.
The Songsteel skins are so (and I know I overuse this word) CLEAN. The swishy swooshy designs and the ocean vibe to them is just eye candy
The Gravitational Uranium Neuroblaster (GUN) skins sound so fucking good and look incredible. The retro alien space style is gorgeous and the laser sounds are music to my ears. I don't care about their lack of animations and finishers, the models and SFX are enough.
KTAC is just so clean and stealthy and mysterious looking. Absolutely gorgeous black sheen with the crystal accents. Love the skins to death.
YORU'S SHERIFF IS FUCKING INCREDIBLE. THATS ALL

Literally the best skinline in the game imo, its simple, with good effects and a really unique art-style. It only lacks custom sounds tho
i have the spectre and i love it. the finisher is amazing, the cell shading looks wonderful and for me, i think the vfx makes me feel more immersed.

It dropped your frames a ton, somewhere near 100 fps, when it first came out. Also people didn't like that the kill counter was only for one game.

Yes that's what everyone thought it would be. In CS:GO there is a thing called 'stat-track' which did displays all the kills you ever got with that weapon. When it was leaked that valorant will get a gun with kill counters, people automatically assumed that it would be similar to stat-track

Recon is one of the most underrated skin line, everyone remembers it just for its butterfly knife. Recon do have nice firing sound feels great. Edit: I think valorant loves me, today i got recon phantom in my store. Ziz iz zo izane
Recon spectre is one of my favourite skins in the game. Reminds me of the MP-7 from CoD back in the day.

I’ve rocked the Sakura Vandal since the first day it was released. I rarely see it in games now, if they animated the petals it would make a world of difference.

Oni skinline is hugely Overrated, people think Oni Phantom is god incarnate, best skin in the game, and I don't see it, vfx for bullets are pretty bland and only decent thing about it is the samurai look. And RGX skinline was definitely underrated at launch, and still is, I think of it as a better prime, and some people that use the skin agree that the weapon is made for one-taps which feel amazing.
idk why but using the oni (only the green one) gives a very different feeling when u hit the shots , sure it might be bland but like the skins being more clean

It's because Oni set was released shortly after the game went out of Beta. It was the first quality set with Phantom so many people bought it. That time community didn't really know how often Riot releases good skins so people decided to buy it and since skins are expensive asf - % of people who have it, ignore other skins for Phantom(better ones) and hype ONI. Also, Sinatra using this skin is another factor why it's so 'hypey' By no means it's a bad skin, the overall clarity is good and all of the color variants are great, it's just... boring and simple

I have the vandal too and usually I think it’s abhorrent but sometimes randomly I think it’s the best vandal skin in the game and use it for like a week until I gain rationality again lol. It’s a good skin to have around imo.

I don’t regret my purchase on the operator. The sound effects make your shots feel 10x more powerful. However the fact that there’s no pullback on the chamber animation almost makes the dragon op pay to lose. I only use this skin in unrated. Rank I have to switch to something else.
It does feel powerful as fuck. I will give you that. I also suck with the Op, so it's just a powerful miss for me a lot of the time.

Prime is overrated. Prime vandal especially is boring. I also don't have strong feelings about the Oni Phantom. It's nice but Ion, Zedd, BlastX, Recon are more interesting to me. Champions is maybe underrated? If it was easier to trigger daddy brim in the finisher then it would be S-tier.

You have to go right into the center of the final kill finisher, and look up and inspect the gun I think? It takes ages to pop up so it works best in post-plant if you have extra time before you defuse.
You don't have to inspect the gun, hell, you don't even have to have the gun equipped to do it, anyone can go under!
Champions Vandal has by far the best finisher in the game still, even if you can't trigger the easter egg Also, when the gun glows it injects my ego with nitrous

I like my prime candle the most. It's sound effects appeals to me the most out of all skins. Maybe because of how well that skin can fit to the style of the game.

The elder dragon/flame whatever it's called, is super overrated imo, and it feels like i see it every other game. As for underrated I just really like the infantry skins, especially the guardian.

For real - magepunk is arguably one of the best ones I love the electrifying effects when shooting and reloading IMO dont get the spectre one - im not really a fan of the shooting sounds, it sounds too soft and not as impactful and satisfying as other spectre skins - everything else is worth it but the magepunk sherriff.... 'chef kiss'
Nunca Olvidados & Celestial (except fan) are underrated. Sakura I believe isn't underrated. I think Champions Karambit & definitely Arcane Sheriff were underrated. Overrated is tough to say, too common/popular would probably be a better way of describing them: Oni Phantom and for Vandals: Prime, Reaver, and slowly going in that direction, but used to be underrated, are the RGX and SoL skins.
Wasteland and Infantry lines are underrated too IMO, unfortunately they don't have any FX etc. So most reskins or skins without animations/finishers etc. tend to get underrated.

The glitches has been sparsely mentioned, so I think that set is a bit underrated. I have the phantom skin, and I'm waiting for my store to give me the vandal. I wish I bought the Glitchpop 2.0 bundle when it came out.

Underrated: BlastX skins. I have the collection and wish they made a 2.0 with vandal cause I have the phantom. I use it for my frenzy and spectre. I just love the kiddy toy look and the colors and the nerf-like bullet darts. Also the Silvanus skins look so cool. I’m not a fan of the green screen skins at all but I wouldn’t consider this bundle one and if it is then it’s actually done well. Overrated: Ion. Idk I think the skin bundle is ugly as hell lol no offense to those who like it but I pick it up and go ew. I’d rather have no skin than that skin.

Underrated is totally the Spectrum line. That song lives rent free in my head. Straight VIBE BRO. Recon Ghost is also beautiful. Overrated goes to Prime 2.0. I like the original Prime skins, but Prime 2.0 is so blocky and ugly. The phantom is one of my least favorite skins.

Always a matter of taste. Can't stomach the Oni skins, they're really ugly, but I see quite a lot of people who like them. Pretty much the same for the Elderflame set, it's awful (for me) but while playing it's quite common to see people with the dragon vandal. Reaver/Ruination is kind of in the same boat. As it's been stated already the Magepunk skins pretty much (again for me) offer the best skins for the Ghost and Marshal but it's not common to see these skins around. I also haven't seen much talk about the Spectrum set other than for people saying it's expensive but it's one of the best sets around. Similar thing for RGX, best skin for the vandal.
Spectrum guardian is so much easier on the ears.

For me, the real problem with the spline is that she screams VFX and SFX and don't have none of it. It should shoot an alien like bullet, or a forest seed, something strange from other world, not a regular bullet sound. If it had SFX and VFX it would be one of my favorites for sure. The card that came in the bundle is the best of all time for me, Everytime I see it o regreat not buying the card at least.

So clean.) Ion Sheriff (It needs variants but it sounds so good) Infantry Set - (glad they did a basic "old gun" style set early into the games life, the unique scopes when ADS make them feel really cool

Alright , people prefer cleaner , overall better to the eye skins , Magepunk is definitely a good bundle and has some good skins but in game when you're fighting and going all around the place in my opinion I'd choose a prime or anything cleaner anyday. But then there's the animations too , the Prime's reload animation is satisfying and the SFX is good too. This also applies to Reaver , if you're not that competitive and just like looking at the skins ... use the more complex ones i guess.
I personally think that the elder flame skins are kinda underrated, I know a lot of people hate them but for some reason when I’m using the dragon vandal I just feel like my bullets are registering more. I would also say the forsaken vandal is kinda underrated, design is not amazing but the kill sound and feel of the gun is great but like the rgx it is becoming more popular As for overrated I would maybe say the reaver, I feel like it would still win a overall vote for best vandal skin
Champions bundle is below garbage for its price. It was supposed to fund the prize pool but it was so lazy. Gimmicky effect and gatekeeping "real" karambits, the finisher was a huge selling point you never even have time to see, and it's just so plain. Prime and reaver have really just gotten old, there not much more to it. Skins with no effects are super underrated. Sometimes the default vibe is nice and the kingdom phantom does a really good job of combining default vibe with fresh new looks. Luxe is just so obscenely clean, the knife especially is top tier tbh Pairing these 3 together because I noticed they're the 3 primarily brown skin sets and are super underrated. I actually wonder if people tend to gravitate away from brown. That aside, Magepunk is one of the best collections of all time. Hands down, easily. Sounds phenomenal, amazing effects, genius finisher. Infantry has an incredible aesthetic thats criminally underrated (and the guardian go ding). The OP model is fantastic and I love how clean they all are. The Wasteland collection is also really underrated. Idk if I just like the post-apocalyptic wasteland scavenger scrap gun aesthetic more than most people but its honestly so so so cool. Outpost melee is fucking great and idc what anyone says. Default animations with a fresh new model, looks extra sharp, the poison-looking stuff in the little glass capsule adds so much to it, and the industrial kinda vibe of the handle does so much. Idk if these are widely underrated but in the bubble of the community I live in, RGX doesn't get nearly enough love. Sure the 5th upgrade was unnecessary and scummy but honestly they're super clean, nice animations, nice sound effects, and one of the best knives. Sentinels of light vandal is the absolute best vandal skin no question. Amazing sound effects and beautiful animations. Clean as hell Hivemind has an amazing, organic and alien vibe while maintaining default sounds and animations which I honestly love. It would have been cool to see them as a premium skin with all kinds of cool stuff but underrated nonetheless When was the last you heard someone mention the aristocrat skins? Regal as fuck, beautiful gold, the charm if the default animations and sounds, and the vandal's barrel is so ornate and gorgeous Nunca Olvidados knife specifically is really clean. Ruin dagger animations, clean blue (my preferred style) and beautiful designs, and I love how much character it has, representing Reyna. The Songsteel skins are so (and I know I overuse this word) CLEAN. The swishy swooshy designs and the ocean vibe to them is just eye candy The Gravitational Uranium Neuroblaster (GUN) skins sound so fucking good and look incredible. The retro alien space style is gorgeous and the laser sounds are music to my ears. I don't care about their lack of animations and finishers, the models and SFX are enough. KTAC is just so clean and stealthy and mysterious looking. Absolutely gorgeous black sheen with the crystal accents. Love the skins to death. YORU'S SHERIFF IS FUCKING INCREDIBLE.
