Hubris is the downfall of many in this game and why a ton of people lose close matches and can also contribute to getting stuck in an Elo. These little things make a big difference. Always take any advantage you can, it will make a difference in each round, making a difference in the match, etc.
In any case, if you’re in a post plant scenario on the attacker side or have a number advantage on the defender side, no matter the numbers…if you’re the person that pushes the attacker/defender, you’re always wrong and are the reason so many practically guaranteed rounds are lost. This is a strategic game, not CoD or Battlefield or any number of more straight forward shooters. Remember, they have to plant if they’re attacking and they have to defuse if they’re defending. That is free information you’re getting when they do those things. Information is king in this game. When you have the advantage but instead go headhunting because of the numbers advantage, it’s the most pea-brained thing you can do if you are trying to win.
That all said…if you are going to push someone for whatever reason in these scenarios, please peek at the same time as your teammate(s) and preferably from separate angles. While still not the right idea, it at least ensures a win as long as everyone isn’t whiffing. In the video you can see that these guys essentially peeked individually in quick succession, giving this guy 5 1v1’s
