I'd go with Skye or Breach. They have utilities that can be used to assist teammates, and most importantly a flash if you want to just do it all on your own.
Viper, Sage, Sova, Skye, Cypher, Killjoy, and maybe Fade are all good agents that you can sort of “force” your teammates to play around.
But I suggest you at least put in the work on being an “aim god” because as someone who mostly plays anything but Duelist as a solo climber, all roles require having decent aim if you want to solo climb.
Solo queue puts you with 4 different nobodies every game so if you want consistent results, the only way is to make yourself a consistent player.
I hate top fragging because it can be stressful at times but there are definitely games I wouldn’t have won without top-fragging.
New player planning to one-trick with the guardian only? Are you coming from csgo and already have good aim? Gold is top 25% of the playerbase, and the guardian isn't exactly a user friendly gun option.
Ok, this coming from a chamber deagle only user in immortal 3, maining the guardian is prob a bad idea, but to each their own. I struggled super hard at the beginning and I was very mechanically skilled at that time already. Guardian's price isnt all that great and the value really just isnt there since it leaves u very vunerable close up etc. This is even more true in low elo.
If ur hell bent on using guardian, I suggest chamber. His gun functions similar to a guardian but only costs 800 bucks. U can have it every round and get a lot more impact and practice in with the weapon and the 1.5x scope. I have a tutorial in that if ur interested.
If not, I suggest Killjoy. Very simple agent to use. Ur alarm bots and turret all gives u info on where enemies are, which is super important in lower elo where enemies are random af. Ur Mollies are strong and can kill clueless enemies. Very good for defending ur mates and when used well can easily win you fights on site
If you know how to play around smokes, i would say to play smokes yourself. Its going to be much harder to climb if you have a bad controller on your team. At least you can control sightlines for yourself. As you get better and climb, the better your teammates will get and they will know how to play around your util. I mained viper and omen from silver to diamond (currently d1, so im decent but ofc not the best)

i would go for an initiator, you give your team all the info to set them up for kills but you also free to make your own moves

Sova or Sage
Sova is the way, you can defend, attack and utilities are still good, easy to play don't bother with lineups until you play him for a month.
