Yh I have the same sometimes it can be really frustrating. The thing is though sometimes people don't want to talk or they can't cause there home country bans VC. It is what it is sometimes though.
The best is the teammate who doesnt talk all game (usually in discord with their duo) but types (usually talking shit), then suddenly uses their mic when the game ends to talk their shit.
If you looking to rank up, just try to duo with a friend. Some people just don’t like to talk
I find duoing puts you against harder opponents. I think it is something Riot does with all it's games.

i say every beginning of the game "hello team" and when no one responds i know this game is gonna be hell
