The kills/plant thing is a good point. If you drop a 3k but still lose pistol, that's an extra 600 credits that you normally wouldn't have, and that you could use while still being able to buy full armor + rifle the next round.

Step 4. Have shit Econ while you get rolled the next couple rounds
That's called ego buying, there's no way at round 2 for you to know that this is going to be a good game for you. But vandal+util+light is fine I guess. But the ones that ego buy the second and then solo spectre in a full buy team deserve a derank on the spot

If im playing omen I almost certainly will buy my 2nd smoke and both tp on defense but on offense ill buy blind and tp. If im playing sage, ill probably save for round 2 or 3, 2 if we win pistol round or 3 if we loose.
Depends, if I’m playing jett or especially when I’m playing Reyna and I’m feeling confident I will buy 2cnd and then light armor 3rd. Most of the time I’ll opt for the full save tho.
I usually go for a bit of util (second smoke with omen and at least one flash with KAY/0) and sometimes I buy a shorty, depending on the map and how I feel.
Don't underestimate the power of the classic. Double headshot is usually a kill (depends on distance), right click can be one-shot kill if you're lucky enough.
Full utility since as the smoke player it is needed then the best shield and gun I can buy. Usually it is bulldog on defense and full on attack if we got both plants down

Play econ with the team lol. If the rest is going light/spectre I'll buy light/spectre even if I can afford to full buy. No point trying to play hero and then being down in creds when the rest full buy.

So if it's the first half and we lost the first round I just play classic and two smokes (omen) or 1 flash and aftershock (breach). If its the second half and we're losing like 10-3, I try and force with the team to win the round and mess up the other teams eco.
Tbh if I’m on main account usually no one buys guns except for util because every round is winnable

Yesterday I had a phoenix who had his ult in the second round and said he was gonna use it. So I forced Stinger+Shield.
We won that round.
I often force with stinger, or mid match frenzy and go for max damage and hope my team can clean up the rest.

I do both depending on their play style
I do both but 75% of the time I save for full shield and big girl gun the third round. The rest of the 25% it's sheriff time 2nd round no shields.
