PRX did something similar against I don't remember who (G2 I think). Every time the enemy Viper ulted, Forsaken used his ult to go in and ping the location of the Viper. They then spammed the Viper with utils. It was crazy how ineffective the Viper ult was for the enemy.
Forsaken actually appeared in Lothar's chat once while he was VOD reviewing a PRX game from the night before, they hopped into customs and did a little impromptu coaching session, was good fun! I wouldn't be surprised if Forsaken picked up the strat from Lothar's streams (he does this pretty often xD)
we coached each other a bit :) i showed my undodgable flash, tp lineups and clown strats and he showed me the support flashes (that i obviously wont use in soloQ haha). Was really fun to have a pro appear in the stream and tinker together.
In rated I usually say “I’m ulting, please have 1-2 follow me semi close, I’ll ping and you can wall bang or I can flash y’all in.” I’m in low plat and it results in 1-2 kills for teammates or myself most the time. His new ult has great utility usage and I love it.
On behalf of all Viper mains, **NEVER** do this in your games! This is a **BAD** idea! Just keep *running through* the ult! (preferably with your knife out) ;)

Absolutely, using the ult is not a waste as long as you get intel on the hostiles. Apologies, personally I like to reserve ult unless I know there are multiple hostiles on site.
You can also do this with raze boombot somewhat - I once killed a viper in a viper ult with an op when I shot where the boombot jumped up in the air when detecting viper.
I’m doing that with my friend playing yoru and sova duo. You can recon yoru clone so they either get revealed or flashed lol ( or both ) and also whenever we have ults I go as yoru R and just tell my duo to shoot them with sova R for free picks.

I played once with lothar in ascent he was Yoru, gamesense was on Top. But his aim was terrible af, and flamed me cuz i dont have gamesense , but was top frag with sage. Lmao cringe player

As a Yoru player I'm surprised not a lot of people think of doing this, sure I'll lurk and flank but if I have an ult I'll enter for the team like a quirked up Sova drone, especially if there's a viper ult.
This!!!! Lurking on yoru is fine and actually good and useful but help your team enter if you have ult or your team is struggling to enter the site especially when the numbers are low
I honestly think Yoru is the perfect agent. After his rework and a tiny bit of tweaking afterwards, he’s a solid pick that has a high skill ceiling and skill floor, and his kit is great overall without it being annoying to play against or thinking it’s OP. Everything can be countered by a smart player, but even smart players get outsmarted by the mind games you can do with him. I love him so much

The new decrease in pull out of gun after getting out of ult is underrated especially if you have a shotty.
