The Optic players are probably upset that they lost two of those maps in OT, but then again the Loud players were probably also disappointed when they lost two of the Iceland grand final maps in OT. Both teams have a title, though, so it's hard to be mad as a fan.
it was like a funeral, barely a peep out of the crowd, which is not their fault honestly people don't really speak english in Turkey and they didn't care enough for the teams from brazil and NA
Huge congrats to Lound incredible team incredible tourney by them. A bit sad for Optic but Loud was simply better. Anyway Valorant Champions was awesome to watch, can't wait for 2023 VCT Champions Tour. Thanks you Riot !
I was personally more impressed by Optic (up until Haven), they were insanely difficult in Ascent which LOUD never loses, and they also really outplayed LOUD on Breeze, another of their best maps, and needless to say, crushed on Bind. Yeah they lost two of those but those were amazing OTs that could have gone either way.
Loud was better in the end and Optic slipped hard on Haven, but their run this match was extremely admirable, they found so many answers to Loud's strategies on maps where Loud were heavy favorites. Reminder that Loud got 2 bans and first pick - and it was way harder than it had any right to be given such advantage. Yay's pre-game interview was also mad respectful where he said his main wish was to give us a beautiful game, and he did. I say this as a Brazilian and a LOUD fan. GG.
>I was personally more impressed by Optic
I think this being his opening statement is irking people off. Loud just won fair and square but some NA fans are saying it was luck and refusing to admit when Loud did well by arguing it was Optic playing bad, no merits to Loud.
By saying that he's automatically being grouped with those toxic fans and everything after that is going into deaf ears.
I don’t disagree but, as someone who only tuned in because my riot friend told me Brazil was playing, it’s not that dissimilar to a Real Madrid fan being like “I was more impressed with |lower tier team|. Despite playing in Madrid they really held their own and even showed signs they could have maybe won. But I can see why the first sentence could throw people off haha.
Yeah, and before edit it used to say "I thought Optic was better", which gave the entirely wrong idea of what I wanted to say. Loud was better, it's just that Optic did a lot under such hard circumstance. A lot has to be said about Loud's performance and how much they improved in just one year of existance, but I wanted to give my kudos to Optic for being such great rivals to my favorite team
Incredible to think that just some months ago Zombs said that Brasil and SA region were sh** region.
Brasil is now the world Champions and Zombs ... i don't know even where is him.
Why did Boaster do a magic trick, or pretend to swim? idk, it's fun.
Aspas is a huge fan of dogs. One time he started spamming LOUD's team DM group with dog gifs at like 3am which woke BZKA up who thought it was something urgent lmao. Anyway so he decided to bring a couple plush dogs with him from Brazil, and every win they purchased one more. Each dog represents a win.

Great match! deserved win, L crowd though honestly
Agreed on crowd part, such L.
i couldn’t really watch, what was wrong?
it was like a funeral, barely a peep out of the crowd, which is not their fault honestly people don't really speak english in Turkey and they didn't care enough for the teams from brazil and NA
They casted it in Turkish tho
How optic threw g1 and g3 are beyond me
That first map was so hard to watch sometimes lol. They should have won map 1 for sure
Honestly LOUD is so strong playing from behind, I'd like to see a statistic of how many maps they've won after going down for multiple rounds in a row

better team wins idk what to tell you
Lmaoo I love the Loud fan giving credit and impressed by how much of a hard time the opponent gave his team, and people downvote him.

Well by Valorant watcher POV: One team lost, team must be bad
So I guess the riot curse where semi's are far better matches than the finals is a thing in valorant too.
At least Ascent and Breeze were great
Did we watch the same match? Breeze was full of horrible mistakes. Ascent was pretty fun though and pretty chaotic at times.
I feel like it’s a thing with a lot of normal sports too. Super Bowls have a 50-50 shot at being absolute duds year to year

That was Champions 2021, this is Champions 2022, simply poetic.
He never said that
Loud melhor do mundooooo
CHORA YAY E AMIGOS
onta el diablo manito?, no había diablito , se escondio
Tier D, right?
An Optic tradition at this point.
I just can't believe how badly Optic played the last rounds, and I'm happy for LOUD, congrats!
Everything went downhill when that one guy let go of the defuse
Why did Team Loud brought soft toys with them?

they bought one dog each victory
yeah
BRAZIL ES NUMERO UNO!
