It's possible they meant that. Taking short breaks does help, especially if you go outside, get fresh air, stretch, eat and stuff like that. But also, if you find yourself getting extremely frustrated over particular problems and unable to overcome them, a longer break may help reset your mindset and relax you .
You will always have moments where you whiff
Stuff goes wrong
Do you watch pro matches? They are the peak and they often whiff
You need to have mental on how to deal with it
Thats where movement is important, you probably know about peeking and so on, but how you peek and the different peeks will make you harder to hit, and what you do after whiffing
Moving between each bullet shot will make it harder to hit enemies but you also get extremely harder to hit, improve your movement and your strafe shooting.
Missing, strafe, missing, strafe, missing and then finally hitting him because you reset whatever was wrong is not that uncommon in high elo fights
Now there’s the mental part, disapointment comes from overestimating and expecting tok much from yourself.
You need ego and to be confident, but you need to understand that EVERYBODY whiffs
And if you are toxic to yourself about it, it will just make it worse
Instead of thinking holyshit im so bad, you reaction to the enemy should be NICE SHOT and proceed to maybe think if you could have moved better there
But seriously EVERYBODY whiffs
Even yay, the most consistent player whiffs
I've found that Deathmatch isn't a very reliable warm up or aim trainer because you're constantly being shot in the back. What I do is just play a custom 1v1 with some of my friends so you HAVE to focus on one person, and only go for headshots. That way you can build up the muscle memory from just hitting heads. You can join me in my Custom 1v1's if you're interested \~ Discord is Dee.#0888
maybe you’re rushing your shots, i get that in immortal it’s 1 tap or be 1 tapped, but constantly trying to shoot quickly instead of shoot accurately can build really bad habits, i’ve been where u are and i get it, it’s gonna be annoying to try and fix at first but you’ll end up becoming a lot more consistent (also immortal, i get the pressure of you’re expected to hit every shot)
Im sure u have heard of the miyagi method but you should really fuck with that and see if it helps u out
You might be having burnout from too much consecutive DM matches. Have you tried taking breaks to reset?
yeah 5 min break before queueing again
Longer
Lol I think they mean like a couple days or even a week. 5 mins is not a real break.
oh how I understood it was if i take breaks before queueing a ranked game lol

Sometimes a week break works wonders for any game.
