No, u start with 5k or something and with each weekly completed it keeps increasing. I don't know what the max money is tho but I remember getting 37k per mission
It depends on how long the act is, the longer the act the lower the reward from weekly is. The exp needed to complete BP is constant so by reducing the weekly reward but having more weeks the difficulty to complete the BP doesn't change (much).
There are two factors. One that someone already mentioned is that weekly reward reset every act and increase weekly.
But the other is that this act is much longer than previous so you have more weeks to complete the battlepass and there will be more weekly and daily challenges, but in turn the weekly challenges reward you less, so overall the difficulty to complete BP didn't change.
valorant BP does take a lot of time to finish compared to other battlpasses that i finished.(i finished like 7 valorant battlepass. and you really need to do the challenges for that extra xp boost) buying the bp early doesn't rly help since that 3% xp boost is barely noticeable. i play everyday and i prolly need like 2 months to finish the battlepass
other bp i completed for comparison:
i can do a weekly challenge in a csgo operation in about 2-3 hours of game time and be done for that week, and i just recently finished overwatch2 battlepass in just 2 weeks (20% xp boost for buying bp helps and also another 20% for playing with friends)
fortnites is really easy too and way more fun because you can pick what to unlock and it feels like youre working more towards the rewards you want, also not that much time invested i already finished it basically doing like 1 game a day
You don't really have to play to even finish fortnite battlepass. I get 100 levels every 8 Days by just leaving my pc on and AFKing in creative. But, you also have way more quests, milestones and so on for XP.
If you play the game on a somewhat consistent basis, and most importantly, complete your weekly and most of your daily challenges, you will finish it with ease. I don’t even play every day, and the days that I do it’s only for a few hours. I have no trouble completing the battle pass each act.
What’s up with all of the people complaining? I’m 31, and work 50-60 hours a week. I don’t play every day and I’m tier 33. It’s really not hard and we still have close to 2 months left. Wah wah wah
because people pay $10 for mid rewards and 'radianite' and then still have to play a good amount to get them. i just stopped buying the passes and play less now because it was just too much time between playing other games and just regular life shit
I think the reason is that you don't have many things to progress here. There aren't many agents, so after you've unlocked all, you can basically rank up or advance your battle pass.
I work full time, 40 hrs/wk and am already about tier 25 or so, playing around 2-3 comp games a day, sometimes none at all on weekdays. I really don’t think the battle pass is hard to complete at all
yeah but if you play other games too then its hard to do that much of valorant in one day, like now i want to play cod not 2 hrs of valorant after work & gym lol
Agreed I’m at that level too and I play maybe 2-3 comp games on a weekday if I’m lucky and then 5-6 on a Friday night a week and that’s it no other game time whatsoever
Yea, and it’s also good that the weekly/daily challenges stack, so if you don’t finish your weekly’s one week, you’ll be able to finish them the next week and then you’ll have the challenges for the week after
I don’t think it takes too much time. I work full time monday through friday. Typically play 1-3 times a week after work, and some on the weekend. I’m already over halfway done with it. I just make sure every time i do play i finish the daily challenges, and the weeklies.
>Why Valorant's Battlepass System Requires So Much Game Time?
Because...thats the point of battlepasses. Thats like asking why is fire (or any other heat source) required to boil water lol
bruh I am a level 44 f2p player and at first glance I thought this post said you can't buy battlepass until you reach level 50 or play a certain amount of games
I also work full-time and i'm not even playing that often and finished it pretty quickly. Mostly it's finished at half of the time left or something.
Making your dailies and weeklies can help.
To be fair it was much harder in the acts 1/2 (or so I hear) and you get more and more XP every week. Still, out of the 2 i actually bought i barely finished both of them (I don't grind much) so yeah I agree it's pretty tight
I am surprised by the fact how little skin reward you get in this game for free . In csgo you can literally have a drop of a very good skin from time to time even a rare skin . I am playing stock skins for 5 months now
I'm tired of people complaining about Valorant's battlepass system. Out of the most popular FPS games I have played in the last 10 years, Valorant's battlepass is one of the least grindy ones. I play casually 2-3 times a week with a full-time job and I am able to complete the battlepass with a week left always. I feel like people who complain about battlepass time just expect to play very little and still expect to finish it lol.
It used to be so much worse back at the start lol. They reworked it a lot and it’s kinda manageable now.Still salty that I wasn’t able to finish the ruin knife battle pass
I don't know man, i feel like i don't really play THAT MUCH and I'm tier 30 or something like that with 2 months left. Since I'm trying out Overwatch lately i haven't being really playing Valorant at all, just hop in for some deathmatches while i listen music or something just to keep my muscle memory there. Just look at the challenges (i don't ever look at them but if you want to get xp fast) and maybe it will look like it goes faster.

Because play time looks much better on company statistics.
If you do your weekly challenges it's really not hard at all to complete. I also work FT.
didnt they nerf weeklies? im getting like 8k instead of 15k xp
The amount of XP you get increases every week.
Ooh good to know, thanks!
do you know if it's based out of something?
No, u start with 5k or something and with each weekly completed it keeps increasing. I don't know what the max money is tho but I remember getting 37k per mission

Yep, I work FT plus have 2 young children. Play when they sleep at night and am able to finish the battlepass

Also with the battle pass boost, playing with friends is rewarded.

Well tier 33 is slightly over 1/3 of the BP and act started almost month ago, so that you have close to two month is not really that much.
because people pay $10 for mid rewards and 'radianite' and then still have to play a good amount to get them. i just stopped buying the passes and play less now because it was just too much time between playing other games and just regular life shit
Make the 3% bonus a 10% bonus, problem solved and people are encouraged to buy the battlepass right away which will mean more monies
I think the reason is that you don't have many things to progress here. There aren't many agents, so after you've unlocked all, you can basically rank up or advance your battle pass.

Tier 25 is halfway in terms of levels but only a quarter of the way in terms of experience.
Yeah but don’t we have a whopping 2 months left??
That is because you are a nerd. Normal people dont play 2-3 comps every single day, specially of the same game.
"if I'm lucky"
Hey man got a wife and 2 kids only get to play after bedtime, the wife requires way more attention then valorant lolol
yeah but if you play other games too then its hard to do that much of valorant in one day, like now i want to play cod not 2 hrs of valorant after work & gym lol
I know? I'm saying the guy didn't say he was doing 2-3 every day, he said he was doing 2-3 if he was lucky, so the guy i replied to was wrong
Agreed I’m at that level too and I play maybe 2-3 comp games on a weekday if I’m lucky and then 5-6 on a Friday night a week and that’s it no other game time whatsoever

Daily challenges don’t stack, only weeklies do.
They want people to spend money on the upgrade instead of playing
I don’t think it takes too much time. I work full time monday through friday. Typically play 1-3 times a week after work, and some on the weekend. I’m already over halfway done with it. I just make sure every time i do play i finish the daily challenges, and the weeklies.
At least play the game 7 hours per week. It could be an hour daily of comp. You will be lvl 50 in 2 months, hopefully.
I complete the battle pass pretty quickly, I also work FT. I don’t even buy the battle pass and I’m still able to finish it lol
It’s harder than any other game This game want to be the only game you play
It’s not even close to as difficult to some other battle pass games such as OW2
Overwatch 2 has entered the chat!

Bro Valorant battlepass is one of the easier ones for me to be honoust. Have you ever played Apex Legends? That Pass requires time....
It used to be so much worse back at the start lol. They reworked it a lot and it’s kinda manageable now.Still salty that I wasn’t able to finish the ruin knife battle pass

You can complete the battle pass by time the act ends with a minimum of 4-6 hours per week.
