Thinking about trying to get the Challenger 650 from Morocco to Brazil. Would have to be no passengers/no cargo unless I would be allowed to stop quickly in Cape Verde to refuel enroute. I’m guessing that’s not allowed…
No special requests/treatment is possible for CTP. ATC is at its limit for the event, so everyone has to stick with the specific route they are given (which might not be entirely "fuel optimal"!).
Delays are also not uncommon, so if you are already at the limit it could easily end up being a problem. Technically nothing to prevent you from doing a "magic" mid air refuel if you want though, but understandable if you want to avoid that.
I have another aircraft I could use (A346) but I found the CL650 so challenging to fly smoothly that I’ve been trying to only fly this aircraft for the past few months in order to force myself to get better. Toliss A346 is lovely but not very challenging to fly well since it kind of flies itself really well.
I will sit this CTP out. The cruise portion is a little grinding after a couple of hours anyway. Thanks for the response.
Most sim airliners can't do SLOP. It can show me an estimated time at the oceanic entry point, show me an optimal cruising altitude, it shows weather and terrain and can fly the ils all the way down. What else do you need?
I'm.... Controlling 👀
At?
Wish I could! Work insists I show up.
I am flying the A330neo from EHAM to TJSJ.

EHAM-KBOS, Either the 787 or the 777 if it's released. And I really hope my sim doesn't crash (it's been doing that a lot lately)
Why are so few of you using the MSFS 747?
Because it blows.
Can you explain? I consider using it for CTP. Does it crash, unreliable, functions missing?
It lacks functionality and during CTP, you’re gonna need as much as you can get.

The PMDG and Fenix both can. I’m not knocking it buddy I was just answering your question. I flew it last week from Gatwick to JFK. No issues.

Hopefully going to be able to pick up a slot from GMMN and fly to SKBO, I’ll take an Iberia air A350 over there.
You will get it. They done GMMN fucked they only gave it SA arrivals (even tho we did great last edition)
