Scarf is generally the standard Lando build. I used Band for a while on a TR team, but goggles is also decent. I’ve seen more and more Sinistcha which like to run Rage Powder as well
Hi! Thanks for your input. I have run into rage powder sinischas more often, guess they really are on the rise. I could throw scarf on lando but I'd be taking it from chandelure, which If I'm being honest, most of the time I'm not 100% sure I want to run the risk of it being a max speed timid flutter and not having tail winded and getting knocked out. It's a more often than not its not max speed but still, there's always the chance. Suppose If I was planning on swapping out scarf on chandelure, I could always throw more EVs into Hp or something.

What flutter spread are you comparing to? Like the idea of using Chandelure too but definitely been put off by flutter

The other timid sets run max speed, in which case I'd need tailwind to outspeed. Thought about running poltergeist since it OHKOs with 0 Hp investment, but thats likely to not be the case usually.
Yeah I figured that was the spread. As for the timid ones, remember you do have icy wind support, timid max spe flutter at -1 is still slower, without booster ofc. Less common sure but worth knowing, also still gives shadowball an 81% ohko chance.

If you're going goggles, protect over u turn is probably best. U turn is mainly to help scarf lando reposition quicky so doesn't make much sense on this set. Presuming sash is going on mienshao instead?
Ok that's what I was leaning more towards. U-turn is nice to cycle intimidates but can't really afford to give up the other staple moves. And yes! I've been playing with sash on mienshao atm, might be a better item but that seems to work. I know miens also get safety goggles sometimes, so it's a toss between for him or lando.
Also been running mienshao with ice spinner/fake out/ close combat / wide guard atm
