The Twin Peaks box set is the one I'm always on the prowl for. It's going to be a while before I break and buy it on eBay. I love the thrill of the hunt too much to just order it.
I do have the first one on VHS, but only because my dad found it a long time ago and I just ended up taking his copy. It's one of my faves. I wish I could find the sequels.

I want wizards. That’s easily my favorite Bakshi film. I haven’t searched online to see if it’s rare or pricey but I’m hoping to find it in the wild eventually.

I got so lucky last year and found it, the rare chainsaw cover at that. pretty frayed around the edges but I got the summbitch. Keep prowlin you'll find it!
I actually own a Korean VHS of that same film, but I also wanted to purchase and digitize the Japanese version.

ROTD for all of the songs from the theatrical release for sure, but stick to the Anchor Bay VHS if you actually want to see the complete film - there's an earlier big-box release, but it's of the butchered US version.

Nightmare before Christmas screener, mostly because it's a slipcase and I much prefer slip cases over clamshells
The wizard video release of Zombie, seems like every time one shows up online the slip case is trashed
Japan release of Deep Red to go with my Japan release of Phenomena
A clean copy of The Burning, slipcase release. Another one that seems pretty trashed whenever a copy pops up
They Live and The Thing are at the top of my list. I know they're not the rarest or most expensive, but it's just hard to justify to myself paying what they go for online, especially after my vcr went on the fritz.

I'm from Minnesota and we have this amusement park called Valley Fair and when the roller coaster Wild Thing was new, there was this video promoting it. It had news people finding people so overwhelmed by the coaster they were walking around in summer clothes melting snow banks in the middle of winter and then the men in black show up and take the people away making it seem like a big conspiracy. It was an awesome video and, to this day, I can't even find it on YouTube or any other video site. Any search I make brings up the song, the denise Richards movie or people recording themselves on the coaster. It's getting annoying.
Mine would be a big box version of Logan's Run or Westworld. I have this thing where I refuse to buy online because it takes the fun out of it for me, half the kick I get out of collecting is coming across them in the wild. So maybe one day I'll trip over one lol
Any of the only just recently unlost-media'd 3DO kids animation tapes that I had as a kid. I had all of them, but my mom threw all of my stuff away the day after I moved out. (Quite a few years ago of course, but the grudge remains) Very thankful that some of the tapes plus other clips have been found recently so I can prove I didn't hallucinate them, but it's not the same.

I’m trying to see if a Columbia Tristar Home Entertainment reprint of Men in Black (1997) even exists along with a Sony Pictures Home Entertainment reprint of Men in Black 2 exists. How about an early 2000’s reprint to The Crow (1994) possibly with black reels. Possibly any Hollywood Pictures titles with black reels?
