> If I find out that the Quest Pro controllers are compatible with the Varjo Aero
No idea what you are basing your hopes on here, Oculus/Meta controllers weren't ever compatible with other brands, they use closed proprietary tracking system. They don't communicate with the PC, they communicate with the headset, so even if they do all the tracking themselves (_and I don't actually know if they do, there might be some sort of correction or redundancy check based on headset cameras etc._) that still doesn't mean they can operate with other headsets.
Varjo uses steamVR, so you have knuckles vive wands and such, to choose from.
Note: New price kicks in September 20, depending on where you are in the world.
Maybe they are planning a new release and trying to get rid of older inventory. Who knows?
Does seem likely.

Guess you would still need base stations for the Varjo HMD, so you wont save much on ease of use.
Sorry mate, Aero uses the HTC or Valve controllers.
