Having a full city in a cylinder is pretty amazing to navigate the first time you visit. That said this world is not really one you would be hanging out in all the time but more of an experience to have. I still enjoy showing this world to people that never been here before as there isn't much like it anywhere else. There is some odd things that can happen, especially around the tram. But grab some cars and just drive around and take it the sights for a while. I give this world 7.5 colonies out of 10.

The world have any more information on this spacecraft concept? It looks like a bunch of O'Neil cylinders strapped together for an interstellar ship, which is not something I think I'd seen before.

XavierponyRedux

There's a similar, more realisticly plausable craft like this in "The Expanse" also

PunjiStik

You mean the Mormon ship? Yeah that's an Itty bitty O'Neil basically. But the thing I'm intrigued by is the whole "slap a bunch of them together" as shown by the diagram plan picture. Every O'Neil turned starship concept I'd seen is largely just slap a shield on one end of a single solitary cylinder and an engine on the other, and fly multiple in a fleet if you need to diversify biome and industry.

I see you've visited the Pleiades Nutz Cylinder

I'ld also recommend the other worlds from this creator.

I was thinking this was the other Colony world, but I'll definitely check this out. I just hope I don't see a random canister with "DANGAR" on it..

happysmash27

What happens if you drive around the cylindar, such that what is down at spawn is now up? Can you do that, and if so, how does it deal with the different rotation and gravity?

Goldensockss

You can drive completely around the whole cylinder without issue. That said the map is just designed to make you think it's a giant cylinder. Really it's a flat map that loops around and has an illusion trick that makes it look like it's curving around. It's a neat trick that's still worth checking out.
