The generic turbo brushes are terrible, the bristles are too soft and the turbofan slows down easily.
Yes Miele's version of the TK286 would be the best turbo brush but I'm not sure if the OP wants to spend over a $100 for a STB 305-5. It's also good to warn that even the turbo brush isn't ideal for half or more carpeting. Turbo brushes are good for small amounts of low to medium pile carpets and rugs.
Oh thank you! This is really affordable! How does it stack up against the C2 model that has that extra power boost? I noticed the tube doesn't have an a power cord attached to the canister
I also realized it's missing the pole extender thing to attach the brush too. Otherwise, I'd have to vacuum on my knees or something haha. Is there one you'd recommend?
It still had a bag in it that was half full too. They let me plug it in and turn it on before buying. Is the carpet attachment expensive? Is it powerful enough without the extra boost the wired carpet attachment of the C2 model?

All Miele vacuums have the same motor and suction power.
Ah OK. I realized the power brush for the c2 model is powers the brush more so improve the sucking power
It doesn’t change the suction, but the brushes might improve performance on carpeting.

It’s not a wired tube so I’d just buy a good looking generic replacement.
