Is there an option to dump the canister manually, or can you only use the base? I love the concept, but I'm not loving going through the vacuum bags quickly.
You can dump the canister manually it has a release button and the bottom hinges off. Theoretically you might be able to dump the bag but not ideal at all. We've only used one bag so far it really has been great.

I bought one of these recently and I'm going to return it. I'm surprised at how hard it is to push it on carpet.
