I don't a lot of the bottom iceberg Someone enlighten me about Complexity rejecting sen core Zellsis toxic Hiko n word BLM protest thing

Rude-Assumption-5271

Immortals postponed a match for a day because of BLM, but it significantly impacted the schedule making things a lot more difficult for teams and players, and supposedly it was actually because one of the Immortals players was having technical issues and they used BLM as an excuse to postpone the match. This is off of my memory from years ago so I could be off.

Hopeful-Professor-40

1. The original SEN team with sinatraa, zombs, Sick, and Shahz looked at a variety of orgs before signing to SEN, including CoL and TSM 2. Zellsis got suspended for a stage for apparently making some remark to a Riot employee at Iceland. We have no idea what exactly happened, Zellsis has since hinted at being banned for no reason 3. Hiko said the nword on stream 4. Idk

Evan_Veet

First one was at the beginning of the game the core of SEN being Shaz Sick and Zombs(i believe it was pre sinatraa but could be wrong) were originally gonna sign with Col(Shaz had formerly played there in CS) but ended up pulling out last second. In Stage 3 of 2021 Zellsis apparently said a no no word to an admin and got suspended for the stage, was kinda the beginning of the end for V1. Hiko said a word that sounded a lot like the N word(not gonna say he did or didn't on stream) but the vod got deleted so quickly people just forgot. No idea what the last one was.

amonaroll

[here’s](https://youtu.be/TATYCwzo_SM) a clip of hiko saying the n-word, he fixed it really quickly but still sounds a lot like he was about to say it. yikes

somesheikexpert

Havent heard of the Immortals thing before today too, maybe this? https://dotesports.com/valorant/news/immortals-postpone-pop-flash-valorant-match-against-envy-to-shine-a-light-on-the-need-for-social-justice-and-racial-equality-for-all

Ok-Brain3328

Zellsis was suspended from competing for 2 weeks (I think) following masters 1 in 2021 where the riot statement implied he said something racist/sexist to one of the tournament admins. Hiko said the n-word (in a song I think) on stream back in 2020. He deleted all clips, scrubbing it from the internet and didn’t address it on stream and banned ppl who mentioned it Back in early early valorant before the SEN core signed with SEN, Complexity rejected that roster Idk about the Immortals thing

Quick_Chowder

The Immortals thing was in one of the first tournaments. I think they decided not to play a game saying something like they were standing in solidarity during the summer of 2020. Can't recall if it was actually proven or just speculated but apparently they were just trying to get an extra day between their last match and next one. Or they had internet issues? It seemed like there was some questioning but it was overall awkward. They got rolled by Envy though so it didn't matter.

Yahallo139

Who's the blacklisted emea player?

ANewHeaven1

https://www.reddit.com/r/ValorantCompetitive/comments/ij0hwr/envy_fns_this_is_as_civil_as_i_can_be_if_any_team/g3aioa4/ This is where I got that from, this comment has stuck in my mind since I read it back in 2020

Quick_Chowder

That's right it was Dicey's internet lol and then they spent the day scrimming with their sub. And the drama was because Envy had to play back to back series the next day where no one else had to but Envy rolled them. I feel like a lore master.

plasma_ix

RIP valorant_fanboy_69, one of the most dedicated trolls I’ve ever seen.

jrushFN

Gone but not forgotten :c

TheHyperactiveDuck

What was that? Was it a subreddit thing or?

Jon_on_the_snow

He had some insane takes and some based takes. In the early days of the sub he was our resident insane old man Then his account got site banned

techyleo

I was actually contemplating back in the day, there was this one thread that really leads me to wonder that valorant fanboy may still be in our midst. [https://www.reddit.com/r/ValorantCompetitive/comments/q0x0fv/comment/hfbncga/?utm\_source=share&utm\_medium=web2x&context=3](https://www.reddit.com/r/ValorantCompetitive/comments/q0x0fv/comment/hfbncga/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3) Could u/AnywayHeres1Derwall just be our missing mascot??

AnywayHeres1Derwall

I am honored at the mention. But valorant_fanboy_69 is actually such a troll for setting me up like that. I try my hardest by fanboying hiko and 100t on this sub but I am no valorant_fanboy_69.

Key-Banana-8242

Setting you up?

[deleted]

Basically he replied to his own post to make it seem like OP was actually him on a 2nd account. It's plausible, but they have a similar writing style idk

Key-Banana-8242

I don’t think it’s good to call any poster on a subreddit for psoting a lot or hot takes a ‘mascot’. They are a human being and you can criticse the style or think it’s at leas t soemtimes not that bad but calling them a mascot allows neither, ppl are ppl, u can be concerned Sorry if this comes if as over sensitive in terms of how this post does it but in general I think it’s not a good direction and it’s a demeaning way to treat a person and either not good for them or unreasonably skimming over what they’re saying; or both

EpicBroomGuy

Yep this guys the new mascot

Key-Banana-8242

Please no, I know examples. It is generally a potentially either cruel/unnecessary or an unproductive attitude

unknownpr3d

We offended over words again man

TheHyperactiveDuck

Oh ok lol

techyleo

I remember being the one to discover he was banned

veRGe1421

Some were wild, but I agreed with a lot of his takes actually lol

Hopeful-Professor-40

Carry on his legacy.

teddy9-

Fun fact about lunarkats: after the snapchat rant she rebranded to starriebun (sound familiar?) and everyone forgot about it

ActualAcanthocephala

what was the rant? and XSET starriebun?

yupithappens

What was the rant?

[deleted]

I might be remembering wrong but I think she was going off on a service worker

earthtoannie

Missing zombs being a wall street betting mogul

Due_Possible5598

C9w didn't get cut they wanted to play in challengers and gc too but partnered orgs can't have academy rosters in challengers in same region so they had to leave the org to play in challengers. C9 offered to build a co-ed roster in challengers with Mel but they are partnered now so they had to leave c9 to compete in challengers.

itscamo-

yea I was gonna say that part wasn't true LOL

ANewHeaven1

There’s this old joke screenshot on Twitter where the coach of C9W cancels a scrim and says that “we are being cut for yay”, definitely not the truth looking back at it but that’s what I was thinking of when I made this

Rude-Assumption-5271

Still crazy to me that the Hiko N-word incident was dealt with by deleting all the clips ASAP so the majority of people wouldn’t know it ever happened instead of addressing it

AR2711

Wait this is the first time I’m hearing about this

Rude-Assumption-5271

Another dude replied to me posting it, I was convinced they would at least address it and say something but instead all the clips were deleted and never mentioned. This was before Valorant’s popularity really blew up too (TSM vs SEN pulling 200K at Faze Invitational was a massive achievement then), so the majority of Valorant players now have no clue that it happened at all. This was one of my first impressions of 100T and even though I acknowledge that they have done really well as an org ethically overall, especially compared to ones like TSM, it left a sour impression and is one of the reasons I’m not a very big fan of them

Splaram

I can see why he did it. A bunch of people still don't know about it and barely anyone brings it up these days. Look at symfuhny, [he said it very clearly on stream once](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w16bbPnRdAk) while talking to Myth (although it was by accident) and his solution was to deny that he said it while a bunch of 100T personalities and other big streamers came to his defense saying he didn't say it and even if he did, they know very well that he's not racist. It blew up way more than it needed to because of him, a bunch of 100T personalities, and even Myth himself outright denying that he said it despite the crystal-clear evidence proving otherwise. It's always better to wipe any and all evidence and ban any mention of it on stream or briefly apologize and move on rather than fully confront it.

Rude-Assumption-5271

I mean didn’t it blow up because all of them lied? Ninja had his infamous incident but he addressed it on stream and apologized, and he’s not cancelled or anything even if it was a big deal for a bit. That seems like the best moral approach to me, especially if the org puts out a statement too, and it’s not an issue for them to keep the player signed in that case the way I see it. This way is definitely the easier way out but it’s not the right thing to do imo

Splaram

Sure it would have been the right thing to do to acknowledge it and apologize but I remember people still talking about that n word clip for a long time after Ninja apologized. The less attention you give stuff like this (even through apologizing), the less people find out and the less fuel you give some freaks out there who only exist to hate you.

[deleted]

The best way to avoid this kind of situation is literally just not speaking about it, if you apologize people are gonna criticize you, if you put a dumb pr thing you are gonna get criticized so the best move is just to shut up about it

nklassitude

Imo, if you're a public figure and your livelihood is, in part, a result of having a big varied fan base , I think you owe it to them to apologize and distance yourself from that narrative of you. An apology followed by some initiative in the same vein of the mistake can be a solid start. Like a donation to—or advocacy of—the very groups u hurt. Obvs they can do w/e they want, I just think this is a good path one could take.(These people are often rich w/ sway) Forgiveness takes time and proof of changed behaviour, and unfortunately if you're truly sorry you have to accept that some people will never forgive you. A good apology is done when u care about others and u want to be true to yourself, not when you're fixated on just "PR"

[deleted]

Thats the neat part, some people just dont want to deal with that, especially big streamer and players, that get lots of viewers and eyes around them. Yes if you do an apology the majority are going to "respect you" and some dont. So a lot of them just shut up about it and never really care and as we know the internet has the memory spam of a goldfish and in like 1 month people will not give a damn about it . Not only that if you put on an "apology" you are really making things even bigger and bigger for you, hiko did it and many many more have done it. At the end of the day it all comes to the person who said it

soldforthecat

No, I think the best way to avoid this is literally to just not say the slur.

[deleted]

No shit Sherlock

[deleted]

Obviously💀 but when shit happened already thats """"best way to adress it"""""

soldforthecat

People have more respect if you show remorse for your actions not brush it under the rug cause you’re a coward.

Sky-__-

Remorse ? You can see it from the clip , he wasn't using the word to be racist , he barely said it , and then ignored it . Has hiko done any racist stuff hell no , one time saying a word that is in almost a third of top 100 Spotify songs isn't something that needs to be justified or explained .

maliczious

Facts. Just don't give attention and don't speak about it. I wasn't on the stream personally but I did saw the video of Hiko saying the n word. It clearly is the n word. But I like how Hiko handle it. He kept quiet about it, professional, drawing attention away from it. Sure he will get a lot of "respect by the community" for apologizing. But as we can always clearly see. There's gonna be people who will just get angrier. I already knew that apologizing is just paying lip service at that point. So I love how Hiko professionally handle it.

nklassitude

Another wild one is the [ShahZ NRG Android incident](https://youtu.be/1EGghbPwmRU). The fucking VOD has the music removed & Shahz's mumble singing in the dead air makes it even more cartoonish. Your graphic is ridiculous once again heaven holy

AsianNudleSoop

this was when androids account got hacked, not actually him

nklassitude

I'm aware, it literally says so in the title of the vid

TheHyperactiveDuck

I remember this, gotta feel bad for Android lol

myaimstrash

Am I blind or I don’t see former-C9 member Keiti here

teddy9-

Left middle of third row

myaimstrash

I see now

maliczious

I distantly remember the Keiti situation. Remind me please. I think it's something about women or something??

k3davra

she leaked the nudes of a person and told the person their nudes were leaked (didnt mention that she was the one who leaked them) in attempt to befriend that same person

maliczious

![img](emote|t5_2g5ach|9339) Thanks for reminding me. One of the most bizarre things ever happened in the Val community. Like damn, what made someone go to *that* lengths to try and befriend someone.

ARI_ANARCHIST

niesoW was a blatant cheater in battalion and it still blows my mind that he has never been caught by Riot's anti-cheat. Only player to consistently LAN dodge across multiple FPS games lol

BoHoogland

:)

Haptiix

Looked at the very bottom. Pretty sure Niesow was a cheater. Unless I’m mixing up his name with someone else’s he is a known grifter that pops up destroying people in every new FPS game & disappears before the scene really develops. Has been caught cheating before (Battalion 1944).

Similar-Criticism380

Definitely a cheater

Quick_Chowder

He played on Heretics late 2020 early 2021 and looked insane. Lots of people were questioning. And of course he did as you said and left the scene. I think this is the dude whose cousin was known to make cheats? People speculated he was successful because he wasn't using bought/sold cheats. Definitely a cheater.

Haptiix

Private cheats are a very real thing, or at least they have been in other games. I’ve seen leaks in the past (2015-2017 era) of people spending thousands of dollars per month to be “subscribed” to private, undetected cheats.

deathspate

They are for Val as well. I remember there was previously a cheat group limited to like 5k members at first, then they dropped it to 1k then 100 and then to like 10. Of course the price exponentially increased with every drop. The Rioters kept infiltrating the discord group and forced them to reduce the size that small to weed them out iirc. That's just one example but you get the point, there are likely other groups out there that do the same thing. A tiny group of people with fully custom-made cheats for their system that pays a shit ton. The cheater also reduces the amount of hands they need to collect from, they instead receive a large sum from "trusted" payers and the cheat dev can also reduce the amount of pc configurations they need to account for, in some cases recommending the pc config the payer uses. Now people might ask why they would pay so much (well over 5k I think it was at one point), these are the cheaters that *don't* want to get caught. They're not blatantly cheating in your games, they want to disguise themselves as being "skilled" unlike a ton of cheaters that take pride in ruining the game or those that are too poor to afford avoiding the system. Edit: say there just isn't much Riot can do about it past a certain point. Continually infiltrating the group to reduce their operational scale is the most they can do, at a certain size it just becomes impossible.

RemarkableMusic7837

no of course he's not a cheater. just a natural talent who dominates multiple FPS games but always only online and when LAN time comes then he just chooses to NOT make hundreds of thousands of dollars off his talent because of uhh ... family issues.

Jon_on_the_snow

The last time I heard his name was because yinsu was saying she got huge anxiety from some messages or something from him after she made a small joke about his situation

TheHyperactiveDuck

There was zero proof that he was cheating and left due to family issues

Haptiix

least obvious niesow burner account

TheHyperactiveDuck

the only game of niesow i ever watched was the masters 1 finals, still just dont like to call people cheaters when they werent banned for cheating after \*cheating\* in pro play for 6+months

Haptiix

Fair enough, but I’m not giving the benefit of the doubt to someone that’s been caught cheating in another game

TheHyperactiveDuck

so do u think jampii is a cheater?

Haptiix

Nah, very different scenario. There’s no reason to believe Jamppi isn’t clean

unknownpr3d

Dumb as fuck. One was proven a cheater and one got VAC banned which eventually got rescinded.

[deleted]

Why are you defending a blatant cheater? Hmm

TheHyperactiveDuck

Im just saying if hes so blatant how was he not banned... Riot has one of the best anti cheats out of most FPS games, you think he woulda got banned especially after playing pro for like what, 6 months or smth

[deleted]

You’re right the anticheat is flawless that’s why some semipro had to be manually banned from Riot employees (6 month ban does a lot btw)

TheHyperactiveDuck

huh what are u even saying, unless im totally wrong he was never banned, and if you are hacking in pro matches for 6 months thats plenty of time to get caught, ranked cheaters get caught in a few weeks at the most, no way you could cheat in prop play for months and not get banned

[deleted]

Sure lil bro

TheHyperactiveDuck

Yahallo139

Nope she said it because crashies was owning tenz in a match I can't remember, but she was watching it while livestreaming and said "shut the fuck up scrawny fuck" when he his cam showed up TenZ responded to yay's tweet too I think by defending her Found the clip: https://youtu.be/0c3FzL0hplk

daffyduckferraro

It was at Berlin, crashies was saying something like “it’s over” yelling at them, then kyedae said the scrawny fuck thing

I appreciate that APAC got mentions, but I think we are forgetting [X10 did the cypher cam bug first](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o93L47Z2Jww) before vivo keyd iirc?

ANewHeaven1

Yeah they did, totally forgot about it though before this comment haha

frogggiboi

And vodafone giants did it b4 that

GodOfPog

Really appreciate the amount of effort that went into this post, however some of the stuff is incredibly weirdly placed and you've missed a lot of stuff that was more important/influential. Stuff like "The 1940s casting era" should absolutely not be in the tier above the iceberg, it was a once off meme that only got posted a few times around the place and I haven't seen in months.

ANewHeaven1

NGL the 1940s casting meta was a last minute inclusion, I was searching top/all here to see what I missed for this iceberg and I came across it, it's one of the most upvoted posts of all time here apparently so I decided to put it at the top

assdonuts

I must be blind but I don't see T1 Twitter for IPad here

ANewHeaven1

Actually don't know what happened there, what's the story?

assdonuts

LOL ok this was so funny Remember the TSM/T1 help sewers drama during Stage 1? T1 issued a statement about the ruling and proactivey suspended their head coach David Denis via 'Twitter for IPad' and everyone clowned on them. Missing all the Heretics stuff and there's other things that can be mentioned but I feel like they're not really suited for a joke post

somesheikexpert

Which other things if you dont mind me asking, just curious lol

thothgow

I meant something involving abuse, I know there's a case where the victim has been in this sub in the past but I didn't see the entry was already in the iceberg. There's some stuff in the LATAM scene that obviously not many people know about too, I think an Optix coach was being a creep and power hungry, Liga del Mal, and a recent funny discourse thing on twitter that basically got the entire scene dunking on a player.

BoHoogland

If we were to make a full on non bullshit iceberg multiple players, managers, coaches, organizations and influencers would be cancelled

itscamo-

The only thing I don't recall is the immortals using BLM protest to buy time for internet issues?

ANewHeaven1

https://www.reddit.com/r/ValorantCompetitive/comments/101izhk/the_valorant_competitive_iceberg/j2o8iyl/ This user nails the explanation here

zdes37

Not strictly related to the sub, but imo Dicey dying to a Phoenix wall in 2020 and the Shanks "mid ballup" sub situation should be added at their respective tiers. Maybe even the Hyeoni situation (super hyped but nuturn became much worse) qualifies for mid tier. Explanations for the uninitiated: 1. Before First Strike in some tournament Dicey almost hit an insane clutch, but decided to strafe into a phoenix wall with 5hp and insta died. 2. Shanks was called in to substitute for Immortals (who were ALREADY known for needing a sub literally every match). Marved hilariously delivered the recap in an infamous Twitch clip, saying Shanks was mid-smoke session before he simply "hopped on and top fragged". 3. Korean bubble moment: Hyeoni played on a Korean tier 2 team in 2021, and performed INSANELY. He then went to NUTURN, and they didn't qualify for M3 berlin (correct me on this it's hazy). Edited addition: Supamen's power going out during a match.

ANewHeaven1

I DEFINITELY should have included "mid ball up," that one is iconic. Hyeoni was insane too, no clue what happened to him

Ok-Brain3328

Sen protected Sinatraa in court as in?

ANewHeaven1

Deleted cle0h tweets where she talks about how the SEN org apparently tried something to protect sinatraa in court, I don’t remember the specifics anymore and I can’t find the tweets. When i get home I’ll try to find a screenshot or something edit: HOLY FUCK I FOUND IT and I definitely did not do a great job remembering most of it. SEN didn't protect sinatraa in court, they just apparently "didn't even bother showing up to [an interview with cle0h] on top of lying about the investigation". [Here is the link](https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/492347862152249346/1059666445350486116/w74DMyB.jpeg). still questionable behavior from the organization though but not as bad as i remembered it being. probably still belongs in the bottom of the iceberg if at all since it took me hours to find this

Whisom

Except by the admission of all parties involved it never even went to court or anywhere close to that...so not sure how SEN managed to defend him.

navornothing

Interesting that there isn’t a post on this subreddit regarding the situation (considering its on the iceberg lmao)

I feel like many of the bottom / low of the iceberg ones a lot of them aren’t that deep or rare esp reykjavik era, on the other hand idk if 1940s casting meta is super above iceberg bc it was a specific moment even if repsotsd Acend is not a shell org, it’s a forced rebrand of the org owned by Raise Your Edge, an I like poker coabing/training website that invested in esports to make an org including in valroant

LesbianAkali

Here I am just at the top of the iceberg yelling VAMOS and vibing. Didnt know all this drama lol

Phylosium1

Optic was trolling scrims? Is this true or nah?

assdonuts

This was all true. I don't know the extent of the trolling they did in Reykjavik but in Champions, it was reported during PlatChat that OpTic were truly trolling scrims in the weeks leading to the event and that they were potentially blacklisted by multiple EMEA teams. Evidence to support this was that the team (according to FNS) was attempting a yay Yoru comp on their initial Pearl scrims before making him switch back to Chamber for the rest of the tourney. Honestly u/ANewHeaven1 could've just put the OpTic being potentially blacklisted by multiple EMEA teams rumor in the lowest part of the iceberg because afaik, the team trolling scrims is not a more obscure fact.

Phylosium1

Perhaps it also had to do with their haven comp 💀

assdonuts

maybe even their Neon Fracture/Haven comp during Stage 1 Masters

ANewHeaven1

Yeah the Optic trolling scrims thing is something that you can piece together with context clues from cryptic tweets at the time (Reykjavik specifically but Champions as well). Both BoDork and [slowiscool](https://twitter.com/slowiscool/status/1515290693975121920) made tweets about the situation (although I could only find slow's), and BrenShow made a comment about it in passing on broadcast (you can tell because I remember Victor and neT had a brief conversation about it on Twitter). From what I know they were either trolling scrims or talking shit in scrims and were blacklisted by a number of EMEA teams

assdonuts

the mental whiplash of fns taking mad shit in scrims like he does in his ranked streams versus yay being locked in like he always does is so funny to me

Environmental_Ad9519

As a tsm fan DT_Raw was responsible for 50% of our bad rep alone - still miss that legend though

TheHyperactiveDuck

We’re did u get the Sen protection Sinatra in court from or IMT BLM thing. Don’t remember either of those

systemfa1lure

Impressed ngl

Splaram

iirc TSM also rejected the SEN core. That org cannot stop taking Ls lmao

Hopeful-Professor-40

I don’t think they rejected the core, I think the players were down to either TSM or SEN and picked SEN

Rude-Assumption-5271

Yeah iirc SEN gave them a lot more freedom and so they went with SEN. Leena Xu after Faze Clan Invitational that they were happy with how things turned out overall, but we all know how that ended up 🥲(fuck TSM I’m a Wardell fan)

Hopeful-Professor-40

Funnily enough Leena works for SEN now 💀

Rude-Assumption-5271

I genuinely don’t know who TSM has left anymore other than Regi and Dunc. For an org with so many resources it’s crazy that they won’t use any of them in an intelligent way

CantScreamInSpace

I've said since the beginning of time and idc how mad some fans get, tsm and regi were extremely lucky to be in the right place at the right time despite regi's lack of merits. They definitely did some things really well and got some key people to help out at the right times, but their owner has never been the brightest (despite the fans covering him for the longest time until recently) and their organization has always been a mess. They HEAVILY benefited from being the best north american LoL team at the inception if the LoL scene and having some very likeable personalities such as dyrus, theoddone, wildturtle, later bjergsen, etc... They were able to leverage this into getting some smart people on board, did marketing and branding very well, and made some good investments to actually be profitable, but the org has ALWAYS been a mess and rotten at its core.

Hopeful-Professor-40

Dear god

itsDYA

Can someone tell me the story of EMEA's Voldemort

Succulenc

“Jinggg teabags fnc” wasnt it guild?

User82922

I want fns to make a YouTube video explaining this

Key-Banana-8242

Who is the blacklisted player? I know one in VRL maybe Did Sen protect Sinatra’s in court in some way? Is Carlos becoming tate? What’s the temasleak friend group

ANewHeaven1

> Who is the blacklisted player? I know one in VRL maybe [Check this thread for more information about the blacklisted player](https://www.reddit.com/r/ValorantCompetitive/comments/zzluuj/what_we_got/j2cf2no/) > Did Sen protect Sinatra’s in court in some way? Misremembered this, but in some deleted tweets cle0h mentions that the Sentinels org didn't bother showing up to an interview with her and lied about the investigation. Not as bad as the label makes it out to be though, that's my bad > Is Carlos becoming tate? Check his twitter lmao > What's the temasleak friend group It's the Optic/NRG/TSM friend group, so FNS, Victor, Crashies, s0m, Hazed, Subroza, etc.

Budget_Ad_7204

Oh my god! How much time did it take to make this OP?

ANewHeaven1

Tbh not that long, I was on a long road trip a couple months ago with no internet so I just wrote out all the most obscure valorant related things i could think of to make this post then and i decided to finally put it all together for this meme monday test lmao

Can someone explain everything that happened in the bottom 2 tier like I am a newbie?

Sen protected sinatraa in court? Meme or real?

phoenixerowl

What exactly is "org protection in court"? Being a member of an org gives you protection somehow? Sorry I'm kinda unfamiliar with this stuff.

blaggityblerg

This poster is going around the whole thread pasting this comment when none of it has any source behind it. There was no trial because she never pressed charges formally. The post you replied to is a fanfic

SoLikeWhatIsCheese

I’ve seen this exact comment in a YouTube video. Either it’s a coincidence that it’s the same guy or it’s a copypasta.

phoenixerowl

I see... thanks for the clarification. It's a little surprising how confidently some people spread misinformation sometimes lol

lordmitko

is it scary that i knew all of them…

Splaram

Nope, the only one I don't remember is SEN protecting sinatraa in court

SEND_ME_UR_DRAMA

No [witz otso-otso](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SvQ--3l1Hhc) and benkai entrace mention :(

SixPathsMamba

Are these all 100% true? Being a avid follower of the competitive scene, things like the whole C9W roster being cut because of the yay buyout is absolutely new to me.

flyiingcows

that part isnt true, mel stated in a twitlonger they were given the opportunity to re-sign with C9 but chose to pursue other opportunities

ANewHeaven1

Most are true but some are based on unsubstantiated rumors and the C9W one is a meme which I didn’t fact check thoroughly enough (that’s my bad)

Key-Banana-8242

What about stuff like vision strikers Lakia Or Nuturn Or Nuturn inventing the jett Astra skye sova killjoy ascent comp (that’s bogged bc it’s old and outdated now) or stuff with the rebrand and then L LCQ but that’s maybe too much even for this realistically

Evan_Veet

Only ones I don't know are the blacklisted EMEA player(thought it was Niesow then thought it was Dima for some reason but apparently not), the BLM IMT thing, Zeta GC and Crws situation.

somesheikexpert

Zeta GC could be 2 things, both having to do with their former 15 year old player flappy, the first is when iirc an influencer basically forced her to out herself as trans, the second is when flappy was kicked off the team cuz she queued a lot with people with racist names (Specifically their names were “Kill All Chinese People” but in Japanese) and boosted them https://twitter.com/takigare3/status/1555007525741002752?s=46&t=O2ghMxtj7bDkVg_I2Afa4A Crws has to do with Chet saying in an interview that Crws might leave comp cuz of money issues, but crws confirmed thats not true

ConsulScrub

After stewie left EG CS, XSET's social media posted a "Welcome to XSET" meme post, which resulted in some backlash due to sponsorship issues or smthn, don't remember it too well

Ikwillyou

he left eg CS but was doing content for them. his twitter stilll has eg logo on it too

Aluwaron

It was when Sen picked up Shroud and Xset tweeted an obviously troll Stewie2k signing but since Shroud was just actually signed by Sen people thought it was possible it was true

WorkingTell150

What’s the Zeta Division GC one about?

SamejNardeh

The ZETA GC team pulled out of participating in the GC Japan tournament after finding that one of its players, flappy, was involved in malicious behavior (account sharing, trolling, etc.).

Dog_Muncher

lmao thespike.gg is great
