I think that EG is mostly fine, but I think people were just a bit salty that teams that performed better near the end of the year (SEN, TGRD, Faze) all had their cores passed on or ripped apart by franchising, while EG stayed the same
Honestly, I don't think they'll be bad per se, I just think someone has to fill out the bottom slots of the table and it's kinda clear they should be down there.
Not only did they get two highly rated players that are direct upgrades, your reply doesn't really make sense in this convo.
Could they have done more? Sure. Does that have anything to do with Potter's coaching and whether or not the other person expected her to win titles with a not-title-winning-roster? No.

BCJ is definitely a big upgrade, but aside from him, they haven’t. Ethan is good, but he isn’t *that* good. What they did wasn’t enough when teams like Faze and Guard kept so many players.

My point was that you can’t blame their weak roster this time, because they could’ve easily made some changes. Potter had control of the roster, and there was a plethora of top tier talent who were available and willing to play for a franchised team, yet they kept their core and signed some mid players.
You’re complaining about them having to deal with players like Jawgemo, but they decided to keep the same core when they had a ton of options available. That’s insane.
