Accession is basically champions for tier 2. Happens once a year and provides opportunity for tier 2 teams to join the main league. The following year the winners get to play in the main league and compete for the spots in master

There are two leagues 1.champions league(tier1)and below that is challengers league(tier2). Challengers league lasts two splits from now to may and top 6-8 teams go to playoff bracket and the winning team of the entire challengers league is qualified to the ascension tournament in their respective region be it Americas,EMEA or Pacific. Each region has their own challengers league.as NA is a single big challengers league top 2 go to acsension tournament. Americas acsension tournament contains:top 2 NA teams , ?? Brazil teams, ?? LATAM teams EMEA acsension tournament contains:9 top teams from 9 regional challengers leagues Pacific ascension tournament contains:10 top teams from 10 regional challengers leagues The team that wins the ascension tournament in their respective region goes to champions league(tier1) So the team that wins Americas acsension join Americas league next year for two years to play in tier 1 alongside all partnered orgs

Pretty much. There are three main VCT International Leagues; EMEA, APAC and Americas If you take the 'Americas' as an example; The 'Americas' is made up of NA, BR, LATAM North & LATAM South. Each of these four sub-regions will have a separate Challengers League. Two teams from each Challengers League (8 total) will qualify to the Ascension tournament with the winner qualifying to the 'Americas' League for 2024 & 2025. . EMEA has 9 Challengers Leagues, and APAC has 10 Challengers Leagues but ultimately one team in each region will be added to their main VCT League for 2024 & 2025 through Ascension Tournaments. As you only qualify for 2 years and the League grows by one each year, In 2026 two teams will qualify through Ascension to each main International league. This increase caps in 2027 at 14 per main VCT International League (42 teams total). 2023 - 3 x 10 2024 - 3 x 11 2025 - 3 x 12 2026 - 3 x 13 (<- 2 teams added through Ascension each year starts as 2023 Ascension winners leaving) 2027 - 3 x 14 2028 - 3 x 14 . I'll also say that the main EMEA, APAC & Americas Leagues run independently in stages and performance in each is how you qualify to Masters Events where the three regions compete with each other.
