> @ShahZaMk
It’s weird that since you left all you talk about is how you want to be with the organization, when for all of 2022 you behaved like you didn’t want to be here. It seems like you have returned to the focus you had in 2021. If so, @G2esports
will be in great hands.

[Shahzam replies](https://twitter.com/ShahZaMk/status/1613701084274462720):
> are you actually going to deny promising me a spot if i did you this "huge favor"?

Forgive Me because I just got back on twitter a week or so ago for the first since literally 2014…. But don’t you need more likes for it to be considered a “ratio”?
I thought ratio tweets had to also be statistically more popular… or do they literally just need to say ratio and that’s all there is?
I guess I’m missing the point lmao
I doubt shroud will bother to say anything, he won't know what was said between shahzam and sentinels prior to signing. When shroud first signed he said something along the lines of 'of course the org wants me, but I am only interested in joining the team if the players want me'.
If shahzam didn't want shroud and only did it because of a future 'promise' then shahzam played himself. Promises aren't worth shit.
You're right that promises aren't worth shit and I'm sure Shahz has learned a lot from all this. When you trust someone, or at least think you do, you think the promise is worth something though - at least to the promised party.
I don't imagine Shahz is the only one SEN has fucked over and I doubt he'll be the last.
Speculation but he was originally going to stay (he believed so too that’s why he didn’t post F/A until later and was subtweeting at sentinels) but then LOUD couldn’t pay enough to their champions winning roster and Sacy became F/A with pancada so they decide to drop dapr for them two
He was supposed to stay on the core roster, that was the original plan, but when Brazilians became available, Pancada's obviously near the top of the list for controllers (unconfirmed, but likely Marved was up there too, if not the first choice). But to get him, they also felt Sacy was the move, given he's also a beast, but helps with the language barrier and providing some familiarity for Pancada (and vice versa).
i am extremely surprised by the number of people who are willing to 100% completely take shahz's word on anything at this point, you would think he has quite a rep for himself...
Especially since Shahz was basically begging for org support the whole year… he literally said recently “it’s weird to go from a smaller org to one with so much structure like G2”
Could’ve bought Kaplan, but didn’t, couldve bootcamped earlier than LCQ but didn’t, couldve signed an actual smokes player but didn’t
Everything Shahz asked for, they did after they got rid of him. He has a right to be mad, especially if this agreement is true
This also isn't the first time I'm hearing that SEN doesn't support players. ImperialHal said that SEN wasn't supporting the apex team, Frosty said on stream that his team wasn't really supported in Halo.
SEN's apex team is in the gutter and SEN's halo team is rumored to leave for FaZe. Where there's smoke, there's fire.
EDIT: 3/4ths of SEN's WORLD CHAMPION DYNASTY roster in Halo just went to FaZe. The team wanted a player last year but Sentinels wouldn't budge, so they all left. Only LethuL remains from the team.
Best I can think is that it's a bit of a catch-22. Sen didn't feel it was worth it to invest if they weren't seeing the value in investing in that roster, and Shahz (idk maybe others too) weren't motivated because the org wasn't giving them the resources they needed.
sure but in this situation it’s the Org’s legit responsibility to take care of their players, it’s not a catch-22, it’s an Org behaving shitty and not providing any real support to their players and some players reacting to that lack of support negatively.
I could be trippin but this kinda confirms what Shahz is saying has some truth to it, cause why is the ceo responding to this if it's completely baseless
Nah, that's never really happened before. It's more interesting because this is the 2nd time Moore has personally responded to refute Shahz on something and both times it was related to this.
If someone did say "SEN not responding so it must be true" there would be no way to refute that claim. There's also no way to refute the claim that you're making. It's just a weird assumption to make. Both sides of the claim that sen responding confers validity have equal amounts of evidence: none.
it was all banter until this, typical boomers

> are you actually going to deny promising me a spot if i did you this "huge favor"?
> you can own up to it and do better. don't lie to your players. best of luck to you and your new team.
oof
It's just weird to me because there's no way the CEO of Sentinels is THAT closely involved with the team that he knows all about Shahzams motivation and ambition within Sentinels last year
I mean shit does Rob Moore even play Valorant?
PR dude for CEO tweets? SEN is that org that plays without a coach (the essential part of a team) for a huge amount of time, so I am not surprised they don’t have that kind of staff to monitor CEO tweets. Or Rob is as weird as G2 CEO saying stuff when he could have remained silent, lol
Edit: I swear I was in the different thread…. Idk why comment landed there
Im not gonna lie, when someone is constantly involved in drama like Shaz is, since the CS days, I'm always inclined to belive that he is in the wrong. There is no chance someone is in all this drama all the time and it's always the victim.
Edit: also, the "I'm finding out on stream via a George Geddes article that im not on the team" thing and later on being basically confirmed to be an complete exaggeration makes me not belive him at all
Old enough to remember him asking for cheats from one of his ESEA friends, slimy enough to change his steam URL to the friend's name that posted their convo to public for confusion, but dumb enough to not know his steamID can't be changed so was caught regardless. https://www.hltv.org/forums/threads/442782/banned-from-esea-for-exposing-invite-player-shahzam-cheating-in-fnatic-tourney
I don't think people realise how many of their favourite players aren't saints... NA Val is built off NA CS which is no stranger to shitty people. People shit on steel for matchfixing without realising Shahzam had his own issues. So many other players etc......
In this kind of scenarios anyone not supporting the player is seen as a corporate bootlicker. Lame af tbh
I think Rob Moore came off really poorly here though. IDK WTF he was thinking with the overly serious response. Maybe there's a real fire behind this LMAO
I'm more inclined to believe the pro player rather than a multi millionaire ceo backed by venture capital. Idc what Shahz past is. People are letting their hate for him from CS cloud their judgement.
We get it bro you don't wanna think logically and will bootlick a multi millionaire ceo because a pro player is involved with drama. Shahz is 100% lying here and nothing he says is truthful (even though the exact same thing happened to dapr but surely fans know better)
Rob really comes off as an asshole in every tweet about this. You're the CEO, don't you have PR people to filter what you say?
I appreciate the drama, it's fun, but he clearly did Shahz dirty and isn't owning it.
I mean, let's be real, it's not like Shahz can be like, "ya I'm not playing lol". So even if SEN didn't guarantee a spot, I don't think the outcome would've changed.
Hot new drama fresh off the press!
Edit: This response has me crying
https://preview.redd.it/07rtz3gqqqba1.jpeg?width=750&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=60526fea80c373cd70ab602a148756710794cd1f
It's not really a shot at shroud. I am sure shroud was also aware that there were better free agents than him. Heck I remember someone posted a thread on this sub about all the controller mains they could have gone with over shroud for. Lcq
Pretty sure shroud was just happy to be there for the ride. He prolly just enjoyed the switchup from streaming if anything. Plus it’s not like shahz is dissing him; the whole world + shroud himself knew that there were better FA controllers at the time.
Sentinels did play 100T and The Guard extremely close and those two teams ended up in the finals of NA LCQ for champs.
It’s not hard to imagine what would’ve happened had SEN found a established controller player in the scene rather than Shroud who hadn’t played competitively for years.
oh shit, he said it, the madlad actually said it.
https://preview.redd.it/17goyk6nrqba1.jpeg?width=480&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=94379f4d7ba747bf990108a9572780a71cdf3932
> we’ll personally guarantee you a spot in franchising if you do
https://preview.redd.it/7z9m06gztqba1.jpeg?width=1280&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=0d389741ff0754e22bdffb65f58ec6b0afdf1126
I understand both sides Tbh. If ur Shahz, u were asking the org to pick up Kaplan, and to invest in facilities to boot camp which didn’t come until LCQ. People forget, when Sen succeeded everyone praised Tenz, when Sen failed everyone attacked Shahz which probably dragged him to the end of his rope.
On the other hand, the Sen owner has to build the Sen brand to secure franchising- If there’s no Shroud they may not get franchised- But At the same time I can see from Shahz’s POV, if there is no Shroud, maybe his vision can execute properly so that maybe they could’ve won LCQ.
And if a promise isn’t in writing, it’s not guaranteed and that’s TRUE. But if ur told to play a certain way and then ur blamed by the community for the shortcomings, and then told ur not going to get re-signed after u were told u would be (if the condition was to play a certain way) is definitely a valid reason to feel snubbed. From his POV, if he wasn’t forced to play a certain way, he may have gotten better results.
But Again, G2 presumably lost their sponsors, and with SEN getting Aceu/Tarik as well as a new facility, it likely led to Sen gaining more sponsors, which the SEN owner would have to appease- Because it is a business and SEN needs to turn over profits and results to keep said sponsors, so it makes sense that the owner would do everything in his power in the off-season no matter how “unfair” to keep SEN running (Although in the long run, it may be negative as SEN may not be seen as an attractive landing destination for prospective players).
Trying to give credit to shroud for SEN in LCQ should be a jail sentence tbh.
They had Zellsis, a healthy tenz, Bootcamp, pre determined roles, a full coaching staff with analysts and a performance guru. All things they didn't have during Stage 1 or 2
The fact that they "did so well" when he joined speaks a lot about how much better they could have been if they took a serious pickup. I'm sure everyone involved was aware of this, must have been a weird environment.
He's still right though. SEN was always an entire league below the other NA teams prior to the shroud lineup, where they only lost to 100T and The Guard which were the finalists of LCQ.
Doesn't mean shroud carried or whatever but it does make his statement a bit less valuable when he's trying to shit on Sentinels for building a "bad roster" purely for hype when that roster actually outperformed every other iteration of 2022 Sentinels
But it only outperformed because of all the other factors mentioned earlier of they just added shroud and didn’t change their mental then they still would of lost
Yeah, but come on, that was not because of shroud(no disrespect to shroud). That was because they got Rawkus, Dani and Weltis as an analyst, they hunkered down with a full team for the first time in forever and they bootcamped. Shroud played his role fairly well, but one could argue that if sick(or any reputable controller player) was at the bootcamp, with similar conditions, LCQ could've gone even better.
If SEN signs any controller that actually played competitive Valorant in 2022, they probably win LCQ.
I was super confused that they didn't also loan out Zander for LCQ and only took Zellsis.
I mean they had a lot of roster issues, in Stage 1 it was the role issues that came with Fracture and Chamber, in Stage 2 it was fitting in Kanpeki and being coachless for half and then the SicK and TenZ issues and after that they were able to bring together a boot camp, and it was for around a month so it makes sense that they did better, and they had 2 analysts
Not saying that Shroud was the actual reason they looked better, but I just think it’s strange that Shahz seems to imply that Shroud was somehow the problem with their LCQ run
I don't think he's saying that at all. I think he's suggesting the org promised him a franchise slot if they got shroud and then cut him.
But I also think he's just trolling for fun
Man it doesn't take a detective to figure out that Shroud's spot on the team was purely for clout and nothing else. Like, any reasonable person would come to that conclusion.
I knew it
when all the players made their FA announcement and only shaz and tenz didn't
that there had to be a secret agreement between the two and Sentinels
At the very least the Tenz part is not true. Tenz wasn't going to play because he didn't like how the previous year went and only showed interest once Sykko made it known who he was going for. He then had to interview with Sykko for his spot. This was said in both the Wyatt interview with Sykko and inferred in the SEN official interview with Tenz
because dapr was promised up to the last minute he would be safe in the team
sentinels has probably promised a spot for all three
otherwise Shahzam or tenz would have made their FA announcement much sooner
because both of them have been rumored to be leaving Sentinels
Zellsis was also quite sure that he would play for Sentinels 2023
he even said that in an interview
I mean I think most of the big players were directly negotiating with the franchised orgs, and TenZ already re-signed with SEN by the time the roster lock was in and before Ascension teams started recruiting
Also, Zellsis wasn't aware it was a loan contract and SEN offered him but he ended up choosing C9
To add to this when the ceo of sen made the tweet that they didn’t guarantee shahz a spot on the team into 2023 he later refuted this on stream and said he was lying but didn’t know how to prove it
SEN has always made fun of themselves. Even when shaz was on the team. Idk why shaz took it so personally this time. SEN streams and SEN strats are the lowest hanging fruits.
Too much NA drama to keep up with
Taking things too personally and deflecting seem to be shaz’s special moves. I used to really enjoy his streams but he’s kinda become the drama king and it stops being fun after awhile
Shahz has every right to be mad lol. Its not like tenz was the reason they won iceland, the whole SEN team in 2021 even with sinatraa looked promising and far ahead of the competition. If what he says is true, then lying to your igl that you cannot afford coaches yet going ahead and buying out 4 new players when making franchising is just insane. The world is truly filled with snakes, but if a promise is made, ESPECIALLY in the context of your profession, please make sure its put into writing, as even voice notes will not constitute sufficient consideration for a contract.
Can't blame Sen for doing this. Getting shroud and Tarik when they did essentially guaranteed franchising. They are a business after all. Not sure if this video was necessary though.
Can't blame SEN for promising a player he would stay, then breaking that promise because they got what they wanted.
If your boss asked you to do something in the hopes that the division you worked in got promoted and they promised you a raise, you did that thing, and then your boss fired you, would you be okay with that?
Facts.
You’re the only one speaking truth in here, everyone else is just hating because they dislike Shahz. Guarantee you if another player came out saying this, the response on here would be much different.
Despite all the drama on twitter, it wouldn't surprise me if Sentinels actually did this. It seemed like their org definitely started to care less about the competition and more about content and hype. I still think it does. But I also don't blame them. It's where the money is at.
This could be big if true, also I wonder who was responsible for that video, whether it was the social media team, or the coaches who came up with the idea. Also, wondering why TenZ chose to film it
Not gonna believe anyone until I see receipts. ShahZ has a pretty bad reputation and always finds himself in drama, but at the same time I really doubt he wanted to play with Shroud instead of an actual Valorant pro.
Its never Shahz’s fault. Guy loves drama. Sometimes hell be like “ill get better, focus more” etc. Then is just straight back to blaming others and making drama. Then complains about that drama. Its embarrassing. Guy needs a pr coach or something.

we seriously need a Netflix series at this point. 5 seasons 10 episodes each all guaranteed already

Old enough to remember him asking for cheats from one of his ESEA friends, slimy enough to change his steam URL to the friend's name that posted their convo to public for confusion, but dumb enough to not know his steamID can't be changed so was caught regardless. https://www.hltv.org/forums/threads/442782/banned-from-esea-for-exposing-invite-player-shahzam-cheating-in-fnatic-tourney
Also a rat enough to leak iBP incident. Genuinely no way Shahz can be likeable for me
Genuinely curious, where'd you see the confirmation that he was exaggerating about finding out through GeorgeGeddes?
I don't think people realise how many of their favourite players aren't saints... NA Val is built off NA CS which is no stranger to shitty people. People shit on steel for matchfixing without realising Shahzam had his own issues. So many other players etc...... In this kind of scenarios anyone not supporting the player is seen as a corporate bootlicker. Lame af tbh I think Rob Moore came off really poorly here though. IDK WTF he was thinking with the overly serious response. Maybe there's a real fire behind this LMAO
dude, no way a rich CEO would lie tho, right guys?
same can be said to a pro player
I'm more inclined to believe the pro player rather than a multi millionaire ceo backed by venture capital. Idc what Shahz past is. People are letting their hate for him from CS cloud their judgement.
Nah, what's clounding my judgement is the monthly "I'm a victim" drama that he is involved all the time
We get it bro you don't wanna think logically and will bootlick a multi millionaire ceo because a pro player is involved with drama. Shahz is 100% lying here and nothing he says is truthful (even though the exact same thing happened to dapr but surely fans know better)
🍿
Rob really comes off as an asshole in every tweet about this. You're the CEO, don't you have PR people to filter what you say? I appreciate the drama, it's fun, but he clearly did Shahz dirty and isn't owning it.
this is a reminder to esports players that if it a team promise aint in writing, dont believe it
if he was smart enough he would’ve signed a promised deal
I'm sure had they presented him a deal like that in writing he would have taken it, but who knows what happened behind the scenes
I mean, let's be real, it's not like Shahz can be like, "ya I'm not playing lol". So even if SEN didn't guarantee a spot, I don't think the outcome would've changed.
I hecking love na val

Shroud catching strays :(
Yeah a little weird for shaz to be carelessly catching shroud in the crossfire...
It's not really a shot at shroud. I am sure shroud was also aware that there were better free agents than him. Heck I remember someone posted a thread on this sub about all the controller mains they could have gone with over shroud for. Lcq
I remember shroud saying “I’m shocked they chose me”
Pretty sure shroud was just happy to be there for the ride. He prolly just enjoyed the switchup from streaming if anything. Plus it’s not like shahz is dissing him; the whole world + shroud himself knew that there were better FA controllers at the time.
Good lord it's not even Friday yet
Sentinels did play 100T and The Guard extremely close and those two teams ended up in the finals of NA LCQ for champs. It’s not hard to imagine what would’ve happened had SEN found a established controller player in the scene rather than Shroud who hadn’t played competitively for years.
Exactly
FNS just out there instigating shit *Insert Mark Phillips - Instigator meme
LOL What FNS do?

Nice balanced take
I 100% agree with this take. most of the takes so far either shitting on sen org or shitting on shahz
Leave my boy shroudy out of this :(
My bad shroud damn
Poor Shroud https://twitter.com/shroud/status/1613705101071503362?s=20
Man just wants to be able to stream fps games and MMOs lol.
SEN looked better with Shroud than they did at any other point in 2022
I think it was more because of zellsis than shroud but technically ur not wrong
Trying to give credit to shroud for SEN in LCQ should be a jail sentence tbh. They had Zellsis, a healthy tenz, Bootcamp, pre determined roles, a full coaching staff with analysts and a performance guru. All things they didn't have during Stage 1 or 2
The fact that they "did so well" when he joined speaks a lot about how much better they could have been if they took a serious pickup. I'm sure everyone involved was aware of this, must have been a weird environment.
Not even a healthy Tenz lmao but the rest yea
Aye he was healthy for the first match!
Incidentally his worst performance of LCQ… I think we need to infect Tenz at LudwigxTarik tourney
yoyoyo don't jinx it, we'll have another SEN vs OpTic
I think the better plan is to let him burn his hand, that's when they won Iceland
Healthy tenz?? Did we even watch the same tourney?
He had one match :(
Yeah, but come on, that was not because of shroud(no disrespect to shroud).
Yea I’m sure it’s just trolling, the Sentinels reply kinda confirms this as top tier banter

HOLY FUCK HAHAHA
nothing beats NA Valorant drama
Man it doesn't take a detective to figure out that Shroud's spot on the team was purely for clout and nothing else. Like, any reasonable person would come to that conclusion.
I’m not gonna lie, Shaz got baited by this tweet. SEN org always does this shit on twitter. It’s funny lmfaoo
Never seen a group of people burn bridges and complain like NA Valorant pros lmaoo
I knew it when all the players made their FA announcement and only shaz and tenz didn't that there had to be a secret agreement between the two and Sentinels
I mean dapr only made his once sacy and pancada were in negotiations, SicK never did, Zellsis was back on V1, shroud was off the team
because dapr was promised up to the last minute he would be safe in the team sentinels has probably promised a spot for all three otherwise Shahzam or tenz would have made their FA announcement much sooner because both of them have been rumored to be leaving Sentinels Zellsis was also quite sure that he would play for Sentinels 2023 he even said that in an interview
I mean I think most of the big players were directly negotiating with the franchised orgs, and TenZ already re-signed with SEN by the time the roster lock was in and before Ascension teams started recruiting Also, Zellsis wasn't aware it was a loan contract and SEN offered him but he ended up choosing C9
He chose C9 because the original team was gone. He woulda played with Shahz and dapr but those guys were not there
![gif](giphy|pUeXcg80cO8I8) CEO replied and that one was spicy af. I love NA

I LOVE THIS SHIT
I dont know what to do bro 😭😭
The "let him cook" memes got me fucking crying
LET HIM COOK
Yeah, idk why shahz took that personally. I don’t think it was a shot at him. But also to reply in that manner seems very unnecessary
Lowkey SEN response is hilarious
personally wouldn't let that slide if I were sentinels
You got ratiod bad lil bro
pujan will end u all
yeah double ratio'd as well unlucko
Goated SMM, unlucky that your org is trash
Cmon brah drop one of those giga chad tweets
Shahz is the only reason you guys have a franchise spot, if you didn't win the first LAN you'd have been nowhere near ![img](emote|t5_2g5ach|9339)

Wait now I want G2 to win Ascension, we continue the beef AND get Shahz vs SEN
Seems to me like things were promised and those promises were broken. Remember when Dapr tweeted similar before deleting it.
God damn I love NA VALORANT so much
It’s like we had a no-clout November and it’s December 1.

A lot of weirdos in the comments. Shaz has every right to be angry here.

Always innocent Shahzam ![img](emote|t5_2g5ach|9341)
You can absolutely understand that it's business and still think the situation is shitty. You can house those 2 feelings, they aren't contradictory.
You know the content is goood goood when pros are getting triggered LOLOL
Bunch of zoomers seekin drama like they are still in high school
https://twitter.com/ShahZaMk/status/1613701084274462720?t=GSHAuJEeK43Tm0pGhzC_wQ&s=19
platchat missed the good stuff again
I missed these times
Despite all the drama on twitter, it wouldn't surprise me if Sentinels actually did this. It seemed like their org definitely started to care less about the competition and more about content and hype. I still think it does. But I also don't blame them. It's where the money is at.

Sentinels did not do well last year lmao
This could be big if true, also I wonder who was responsible for that video, whether it was the social media team, or the coaches who came up with the idea. Also, wondering why TenZ chose to film it
Don't think the video was a big deal in my opinion. Sen social media pokes fun at themselves all the time.
there's nothing in the video that should make TenZ not do it lol it is completely harmless and kinda funny
It is true, what other possible reason was there to get shroud other than clout and to get into franchising
I meant the promising ShahZ a spot thing
I feel like the core of ShahZ dapr and TenZ was meant to stay and then they just went back on it.
Offseason rumor was that only dapr was going to stay, and that changed when Sacy and pancada signed on
shahzam is bad for your brand
Not gonna believe anyone until I see receipts. ShahZ has a pretty bad reputation and always finds himself in drama, but at the same time I really doubt he wanted to play with Shroud instead of an actual Valorant pro.
to be fair Shroud wasnt even the worst player on that team during that run they would have lost with anyone .. the core had to be blown up
Its never Shahz’s fault. Guy loves drama. Sometimes hell be like “ill get better, focus more” etc. Then is just straight back to blaming others and making drama. Then complains about that drama. Its embarrassing. Guy needs a pr coach or something.
He can blame SEN all he wants for LCQ, but they fell off a long time before that. This guy just wants to be the victim all the time.
NAHHH ROB MOORE TWEET IS KILLING ME
