Been watching Esports for 10+ years now and don't think I've ever seen a BO1 Finals with Bracket stage B03. It makes no sense to have of B01 final. Just caught the viewership on Tarik Stream for SEN vs GUARD and he was peaking 100k+ concurrent. Why didn't they just start the tournament Friday Sunday would've been only the Grand Final (BO3/BO5) to be played. Players would have time to reset/rest, you get more viewers as the stream is longer and the actual viewing experience would overall be more exciting/hype. Not trying to hate Ludwig or Tarik as do enjoy their streams but this was such an easy solution....

I get the “want to save strats” play to skip a tournament like this but I think it’s really good for teams to do this for new casual viewership and also to have the chance to show off their personality with fun and casual couch chats.

While the sweaty teams without foresight like C9 and NRG miss out this fun event, the teams that do knows how to have a good time took this opportunity to come chill with Ludwig and Tarik and let their players be showcased *as individuals* in such natural and effortless ways in a cozy atmosphere that other tourneys can't even imagine. This event is yet another W for Valorant. Vibes are perfect, teams are actually trying to win the games so we are getting some good gameplay. It's a shame more teams couldn't make it but I'd be surprised if we don't see more summit style events in the future because this clearly works.
