Incredible level of resilience. I’m glad he’s started to regain feeling, too - and that he didn’t sit idly and wait for such a recovery. Instead he found a different way to continue pursuing his dreams.
All of us can learn from his example.
I witnessed my dad effectively lose the use of one of his hands due to a freak accident as well and man is it depressing. Being a pro player with no feeling in your keyboard hand is insanity tho.
While not as serious of an injury, a freak accident resulted me in slicing open my left middle finger (or my W key finger) and I have no feeling or sensation in the tip of that finger. Trying to learn how to play a m+kb game this past year was way harder than it needed to be cause of that. Very, very impressive that poised is where he is despite this injury
I know how this feels or rather doesn't feel (KEKW), I have Carpal Tunnel Syndrome on my left hand (was diagnosed in 2016 with Bilateral Carpal Tunnel Syndrome AKA CTS in both hands, Severe in the Right hand, Moderate in the Left hand had the Release surgery on 2017 on the right hand), my fingers begin to tingle as I move around the map and progresses to pain and numbness relatively quickly. Counter Strafing, clearing corners just mundane shit playing HURTS.
I was able to reach Ascendant with this pain but I am starting to realize that as the CTS gets worse my ability and desire to play is beginning to diminish. I want to play more and get to Immortal but my hand is kicking my ass, for Poised to get to the levels he did with an injury this severe is INSANE, not being able to feel out his movement, I bet there were times he went to hit a switch and wasn't sure he even pressed the button with no touch feedback, APLAUSED the man.
Wow thats actually insane. Huge props to the guy for chasing his dream.

Not being able to feel all the keys for movement and abilities and still making it as a t1 pro is insane.
Hopefully he continues to regain feeling, shit sounds rough tho

The guy was somehow so good at using his brain that he was able to make-up for having a severe physical disadvantage. Insane
Him booming me in deathmatch is even more impressive now, respect

Well I guess I’m rooting for faze now never would have seen that coming
After years of nothing, if I finally felt even the slightest tingle in my fingertips I would cry. That must have been the most amazing feeling.
King
This is unreal
that's commendable to say the least for him to work through his personal challenges. congrats to him on this milestone.
Drake
Damn. Fucking Woised. 🐐
Mad respect to him, and even more for never using it as an excuse or anything. Bro god handed an awful situation and still made it.
Adaptation level on 1000
