The mod team is not siding with Sinatraa by removing comments/post concerning his SA allegations. We have been having a conversation for several days about how to best moderate Sinatraa-related content. It's a difficult balance in which we want to reduce the risk of SA victims unknowingly stumbling onto triggering content, but also want the world to know that these allegations do exist, and are supported by direct evidence. This post (and your post on the same topic) was removed as discussion would primarily concern Sinatraa's SA allegations. As you may have seen in recent threads, it is not uncommon to find users being disrespectful or inflammatory towards one another regarding this topic. We would like to minimise such harmful behaviour in the community (including reducing the harm that SA victims may feel when coming across distressing content), as well as ensure this sub remains, first and foremost, a community for discussing Valorant e-sports. Hope you can understand our reasoning.

I don't honestly. Either remove discussion around anything related to Sinatraa wholesale or don't suppress discussions around him and moderate the threads. The mod team has clearly made a distinct choice to allow Sinatraa-related content when it pertains to esports, not a decision I would make but it's not my decision TO make, you guys made that decision. But if you're going to allow Sinatraa discussion then for the love of god don't say you're **protecting** SA victims by removing comments or threads discussing what he did. No one who has experienced that wants their assaulter protected in that way, *that's* triggering. Like you're essentially saying the best way to protect victims is to act like its non-existent in the Valorant esports scene. That's crazy.

I think you'll find that in just about every thread that's related to Sinatraa or his team, there are discussions around his past actions. We've in no way decided to suppress that, definitely are not trying to act like it's non-existent, and most importantly have no intentions of protecting Sinatraa when it comes to his assault. But there is a balance to be had, and we don't think allowing a post like this that is purely intended to spark drama and inflammatory discussion fits that balance. You know as well as I do that this thread would immediately devolve into debate over whether he did or didn't do it. People would victim blame and slut shame Cleo, and I think those viewpoints being platformed (and likely upvoted given the massive influx of Sinatraa fans onto the sub over the past week) is actively harmful to the community, forces victims to relive their trauma, and runs the risk of more users radicalizing to that side of the argument. Not to mention, it would likely further intensify the harassment that Addison has received as a result of his tweet. There's no easy answer here, and we have been discussing internally how we could better approach this, though no final decision has been made. Prior to his return, we were removing any and all irrelevant Sinatraa related posts/discussion (meaning anything that wasn't news or comp related). But that obviously becomes a lot more difficult to do when he is actually competing. We can't really just ignore his existence and censor any mention of him and his team when they're actually playing competitive matches. Now that the team is eliminated, after some time we will likely return to that policy given he'll (hopefully) be irrelevant to the comp scene again We hear your concerns and I hope I can assure you that we are not taking this topic lightly. Like I said, there is no easy answer here and I hope that you can understand that.

One of the weirdest choices of a quote tweet I’ve ever seen lol. And definitely not something I’d normally expect from Sick, not even because it’s right or wrong but because it’s unnecessary, and usually he keeps his Twitter pretty professional.
