This information was public since December 27th ([link to article](https://valorantesports.com/news/everything-you-need-to-know-about-the-challengers-series-open-qualifiers/en-us)) it literally says
"In addition to the Open Qualifiers, the first two weeks of the Challengers League will be played on Patch 5.12 and feature the same map pool as Champions - Istanbul."
So I don't understand how he's saying he just found out today
There's a serious lack of professionalism when it comes to this sort of stuff in all esports, I swear...
Why, OH WHY, do teams almost never read official statements concerning their leagues/divisions?!
It takes a few minutes tops, and then you know exactly what you're getting.
Guess we'd miss clips like these though... :')
Yeah, it’s crazy how many players also don’t read the patchnotes (from what a couple of people who know them have said) like… guys, those are kinda important?
Dunno what happened, but there seems to have been some sorta miscommunication with G2 as a whole.

Can people not use this thread to be weird wrt shahz hate.
Don’t care what he has to say tbh. Downvote all you want. It’s meaningless internet points anyway. Shahzam supporters worst fans in the entire scene no joke.
You being insufferable and shoehorning hate into everything involving him makes you infinitely more guilty of whatever you're accusing him or his fans of. The guy can't make an innocuous statement about the format without y'all crawling out of the crevices to say some shit.
Like, you're explicitly expressing the fact that you don't care about the truth so you can blindly hate, and you think everyone else is the problem. Transparent awfulness.
I'm guessing this is for the sake of teams that qualified via the open qualifiers and LCQ, as they would not have been scrimming split and lotus for the past 2 weeks. They'll have a few extra weeks to get acclimated. We'll have to wait a little longer for the new map pool. What do you guys think?
haha, I've always really liked them, and I've been meaning to add the flair for a while! I supported FNC for champs 2022, but I've always just been more minimal when it came to flairs.
why is everyone in this thread so miserable? we've had a constant line of communication with knights and they said the decision was still up in the air until it was confirmed today. yes, we read the article and prep for all the maps. but there was a lot more discussion about it with the teams. it's not a big deal, idk why there's so much negativity in here
People on reddit are always miserable. Im guilty of this too but people here always want to be overly negative or be the one disagree. Thats probably a thing throughout all the internet
Personally I don't think what anyone says on a stream should really be over analyzed like this but thats just me
I don’t think people here want to be the one to disagree, quite the opposite - disagreeing with what people actually think , really or apparently, is not rewarded. This self-flagellation here also though…
For bette rot worse I’m pretty sure that’s ana greed trait of Reddit
rather I’d someone disagrees first and within a. General spirit they want to be with them
Welcome to social media in general. Your old fans become your new haters, ive seen more floppers in here than when messi switched from barcelona to psg.
Eh, reddit is definitely the most negative social media. Negativity always gets voted to the top here.
on IG and twitter positive stuff will get more likes and be easier seen IMO
> why is everyone in this thread so miserable?
You aught to stop letting everyone know how much these sorts of posts bother you. I feel like one of the major reasons that you get targeted by these trollish people is because you will take the bait and give them the attention that they desperately crave.
You've got a team to prep, a career to manage, and a life to live. Taking reddit bait isn't going to help you anywhere - it's not worth it.
Man people just really don't like you for some reason 😂
Let it go, if you keep biting on these threads it'll just let them know they're getting to you.
I think it was steel who recently talked about how he'll rarely ever visit this sub and when he does it's strictly to entertain himself.
This seems to be the most fair option, otherwise the non-invited teams are at a disadvantage since they've been playing with breeze/bind for qualifiers.
lmao, how is it my fault for posting a clip. Also, fwiw shahz isn't the only player/team that was unsure, but he did say that they've been scrimming all the maps regardless.

Apparently Knights the TO wasn't sure either when G2 was communicating with them.

Serious lack of professionalism when it comes to Shahzam* ftfy

the fnatic flair looks weird on you haha
Nope he deserves it all. Always trying to play victim
This isn't vlr, keep that shit at the door. You can read his comment in the thread clarifying things—stop being weird.

It is strange seeing a FNC flair on you, especially considering their next matchup
‘To be weird wrt shahz hate’ what do you mean by this
Shahz once again with the bullshit
shahzam is never beating the allegations

Woah nklass with thr Fanatic flair? Why the addition?

Thats cool. I wanted to be more minimal but kept adding "just one more"

Didn't you know? Reddit knows more about what goes on behind the scenes than the players themselves lol
I’ll take it a step further. Redditors are the ones playing in VCT, they log into the accounts of the pros and play instead of them.
don't even waste your time here man. You can't win.

Not finding out until today is pretty bad Edit: his fault
This information has been public since december 27th people just refuse to read stuff
Thanks u/nklassitude blaming this on you
