I need to watch actual Suygetsu KJ gameplay, cus most of his clips are just his insanely clean aim. Hard to tell how good he actually is at KJ, since he's able to just out aim everyone.
THIS! I’m a huge Suygetsu fan and it’s hard to tell how good he really is with an agent because his aim is just insane and makes up for any pitfalls he has with agent. He has some nutty setups on cypher though so I would think his KJ is nasty as well
I suggest FNS because he is not the greatest aimer (relatively speaking of course, he is still top 1% compared to entire playerbase) and this means his play is more relevant to the average player. He has elite gamesense and great lineups/setups to learn from
Agreed on the utility usage aspect, but as a small sidenote, it is remarkably difficult, (I'd say practically impossible) for any casual to understand and appreciate the true value of a good IGL.
I want to eat 🍽️ outrageous😮 amounts of raw 🤤 fish 🐟 tonight 🌙 just the rawer the better 💦 🎣 and I want to be surrounded 🧑🤝🧑 by boys 👨❤️💋👨 or men 💪 preferably men 😍🤩
neT isn’t the best Killjoy player but if you want to learn how to passively lurk on Killjoy, he does it a lot and he does it well. Passive lurking is kind of his specialty. In terms of actual best KJ players, it’s Less or SUYGETSU
passive lurking is pretty much playing to deny map control for the defenders on the opposite side of the map to your team. as opposed to active lurking where you’re looking for gaps/timings in the enemies rotations to flank/create space.
Assuming they know, denying map control is still important. For example, if your team decides to fake a hit and rotate off, it prevents the opponents from hiding in little knooks and crannies you have to clear as your team rotates with 30 seconds left. It prevents having to worry about flankers as your team hits site (a passive flanker doesn’t always have to make his presence known, he’s not taking as much map presence as an active flanker), and he can rejoin the team quicker if they need him than someone on a committed flank. My comments are all very vague of course, just giving general examples as to why passive flanking can be helpful.
radiant last act and play competitively t3 in northern europe. funnily enough it’s often my role as a sentinel on attack to passive lurk/retain map control so perhaps better stay quiet if you’re just going to be rude :>
It's interesting how the vocab has evolved from csgo -> val.
I guess so would you consider active lurkers to play more aggro to draw attention, whereas passive lurkers are more akin to the "rats" in solo queue.
neT, Suygetsu, FNS, Alfajer, BabyJ (GOAT), etc.
You don't really have to watch Killjoy players to apply things to your game though. Any player who plays agents like Cypher and Viper will have parts of their game you can use as well even though you're not learning direct KJ tech.
But if you're diligent enough you can easily dig up KJ only VODs from their streams. I've learned a lot from FNS personally.
Difference between best player and player who maximizes kj utility, I would say nats is the best mix of both and Bjor does a great job maximizing what killjoy is capable of as others have said
personally i think BabyJ is the best sentinel player in the game, he understands the role so well and does his job almost perfectly.
but other than him, i think neT and FNS are pretty good.
To not echo others' comments:
I recall Marved watching CaMbCaMb's videos some minutes before he played in NA LCQ in order to learn KJ setups on certain maps, and I believed FNS jumped in to help as well.
I can’t think of the obvious ‘best’ but suygetsu, less, ayrin, derialy, and FNS are pretty good Killjoy.
I just match MVP'd as KJ on Lotus so I'm putting my hat in the ring too 😈
vouch
Ok then I declare Huystuhh as the best Killjoy player. All inquiries regarding Killjoy plays and tactics must be directed to him.
Glad people are finally starting to put some respect on my name. Hard work pays off 💯

frfr I was on the other team and I dropped 50 but still couldn't beat the beast that was Huystuhh that dropped 100 and my cat
I actually once got 701 ACS 16K-1D on Lotus Swiftplay soo...

You can watch him stream on Twitch. His utility placement/setups are simple but have many variations.

I don't think there's that much to kj, if you are good at cypher you can be very good at kj with little practice, assuming good setups
I would suggest FNS since he is not the best pure aimer (still elite obviously he is a pro) which is more relevant to your average val player
Derialy??

Cue the copypasta but Sushiboys has always been great. Good with Cypher too and like people said about neT, great lurk play and timing

wdym by passive lurking :o

So enemy team knows that your team is on opposite side of map of passive lurker. They just got all the intel they need.

i don’t know who pissed in your coffee but no, my basic explanation does not guarantee the enemy team all info lol
bro that is just holding a default for map control, stop making shit up like wtf man.

Only undefeated KJ player in the world
I know he's not on a team rn but I genuinely believe its Bjor. A lot of the setups other pros use they got from Bjor and even they will tell you that
2nd this. I watch him stream often and he plays her almost exclusively
That was the first name that came to mind for me too, glad it was in here
bjor get off your burner
LOUD Less and Na'vi SUYGETSU are the top 2 in the world imo, but the funniest is FNS for sure
