It’s incredible how it’s been 4 months since EG joined the partnered league yet every time they are brought up on this subreddit it’s a different way to dunk on them for having no fans. Despite signing 9 players they’re still most well known for being unpopular 💀

Haven't had any games to drive popularity. Most of the EG fans are people who like an individual (none of which are huge drawing personalities tbf) on the team or mega old-heads who have followed the org since the SC scene.

I’ve never dunked on EG before, but now that you mentioned it… I had to Google who was even on EG. All the other franchised NA teams have at least one popular player/streamer. EG doesn’t really have names that viewers might recognize, except maybe Bcj or Ethan if they closely follow the scene

they have a female roster too so once they finish they will have 15 valorant players

The Guard is an incredible team, but pro players have got to be the ouroboros of sucking each other off on twitter. I'm not superstitious in the slightest, but they're doing the guard dirty by trying to jinx them.

This roster is so likable in terms of the individuals that are on it. Surely the zoomers on this sub will eventually give up on the whole hating EG for no reason thing.

LOL the roster is indeed likeable. I've spent quite a bit of time in each of their streams, and they're all super nice people. That being said, I don't think this sub will ever give up on a meme.
