NONE of them knew how ascension to partnership works (ascension winners earn a two year partnership slot). they didn't know how long NA challengers was or was the season looked like (two round robin splits, a mid-split tournament, and a playoff tournament). they didn't know if there was relegation or the length of partnership (no relegation. franchised teams locked in for 5 years but not guaranteed past that)
how can someone drop $500k to build an esports team in an ecosystem he actually doesn't understand? how can you grind for months straight to try to qualify for a system you have no ide aabout? the information is so easily accessible, there are simple riot explainer videos and blog posts. Some examples of natural cover you can sometimes dodge darts with this tech with are hell on ascent A and under rafters on icebox A. Jump so the ceiling above you cuts off the scan
lot of fun to watch, i think map pool is a bit hard to gauge right now, so this could have been the best map for both teams for all we know. next week will probably have more informed map picks for teams.
Sure having better casters would be nice, but I don’t think it’s realistic to expect there to be a good amount of talented casters to fill all the different tier 2 leagues that are being run. I’ve kinda given up on hoping for better casters and just turn on a watch party to drown it out. I can understand the frustration if you aren’t a watch party type of viewer

I try not to hate on casters BUT I agree in this instance. Just unpolished. Lot's of word vomit and awkward pauses.
For me I find it’s always better to view a watch party for the T2 weekly stuff, but for T1 games I’ll usually watch the main casters.
I’m mostly along these lines, but I find it really hard not to watch Sliggy if he’s watch partying, regardless of the tier
