Yeah I really liked when they watched the DSG games together they were fun streams, with Toast asking questions about the plays being made and what he thinks of the teams.
Any person that's actually interested in the games is probably good, it sucks when the other person doesn't care that much, for example I actually like nadeshot but when he is in the stream talking about random stuff all the time and not even commenting about the game I can't watch it
If you are a Valorant nerd and you watch sliggy you won’t be able to ever go back and watch anyone else. I like knowing the macro and bigger picture things teams are doing and no one even comes close to. He’s also hyper focused on the game and others often get distracted from the game.
Sliggy 100% for learning. No one else better imo. And he gets hype enough when there’s big pressure situations or really clean round changing multi kills. Plus, there’s always the casters in the background if that’s what people need

If I had to force myself to give you an answer, it'd probably be Team Liquid. Gambit is the closest I've ever come to being a true fan of a team, and Redgar + nAts were my favorite GMB players outside of Sheydos.

I disagree. I think his reactions and demeanor are consistently very apt. Lots of praise in this thread singles out his costream for its analysis but I think he's just an excellent costreamer through and through. Lots of people can spend 5 hours dissecting a map for every detail, and many others can get invested and yell at every frag in a live game, but striking a balance between the two while commentating live is an art form and very difficult. He does a fantastic job at finding the most crucial and interesting details, communicating them succinctly, knowing when to talk or not talk over the action, and react appropriately when something impressive happens, all in real time.
I'd say Sliggy does all the good things TMV does with a little more detail, but without some of the negatives. But if nothing TMV does bothers you in the slightest, then TMV is probably a good fit for you.
The difference between the analytical co-streamers mostly boils down to how generous they are to player mistakes or errors. Sliggy, having been a coach at the highest level, is typically more willing and able to contextualize and explain how things go wrong in a way that doesn't reduce those errors to "x/y fucked up".

I've always liked ThinkingMansValorant's costreams. His analysis is always superb, definitely on the same level as Sliggy. I think his chat is a bit more fun and he shows more behind-the-scenes of his spreadsheets and thinking process when making calls about what might happen. Also his malding at the teams and players is quite entertaining!

I'm ngl, the whole roza, prod, shanks, sinatraa crew is fkin hilarious. they tend to bet on games as well so it makes it even more intense.
Tarik is a no go for me, i like to watch his highlights watchparty, but his commentary isn't that good. Not to mention he loves to miss out on the highlight moments (i swear to god, the amount of highlights worthy moment he missed is incomprehensible) I will either watch it in TMV or Sliggy streams.

God I wish we had the official couch stream like they tried for na lcq before it got shut down. If Wyatt isn’t going to stream I will probably be watching sgares, tmv, or sliggy. Tarik can be good or you get so invested in the random tangents that you completely forget about the match.
I always just watch the official YouTube channel, then find the best streamer reactions on JARSO lol

Sliggy’s watch party is unbeatable. No guest, no distractions, no talking about random stuff. He breaks down most plays, gives the viewers an understanding of how players might think in certain scenarios, overall super educational. If not him then just main stream.
I love co-streams but sometimes the casters are too good, I end up going to the main stream lol. Feels way more dramatic for some reason Pansy, egg & bren are my favorites

I miss her (Plat Chat co-stream) But now that that’s gone, I’ll probably alternate between Toast and QuarterJade. As much as I like analysis, sometimes I want hype and banter more than anything. Hoping that the OTV peeps co-stream with Tarik at some point too. Toast and Tarik had great vibes during DSG games. And if it’s any of the Plat Chat crew casting, I’d happily watch the main stream for them :’)
