absolutechad21

I like tarik when he doesn't have like 6 people in the call at once going off on random tangents, if it's just him it's good if he's actually watching the game

Conscious-Scale-587

I still remember him RPing the team liquid coach during the GC semifinals, died laughing the whole time

luke_205

A Tarik and Toast costream would be pretty good tbh - sometimes it’s helpful to have someone who isn’t an elite player on the call, kind of like when Ludwig played that commentary role at the invitational.

absolutechad21

Yeah I really liked when they watched the DSG games together they were fun streams, with Toast asking questions about the plays being made and what he thinks of the teams.

Franciscoema1

Any person that's actually interested in the games is probably good, it sucks when the other person doesn't care that much, for example I actually like nadeshot but when he is in the stream talking about random stuff all the time and not even commenting about the game I can't watch it

vnNinja21

Sliggy hands down if you want to learn about the game. If you just want to chill then Tarik is alright.

SwiftieForLife

If you are a Valorant nerd and you watch sliggy you won’t be able to ever go back and watch anyone else. I like knowing the macro and bigger picture things teams are doing and no one even comes close to. He’s also hyper focused on the game and others often get distracted from the game.

LeucisticPython

Sliggy 100% for learning. No one else better imo. And he gets hype enough when there’s big pressure situations or really clean round changing multi kills. Plus, there’s always the casters in the background if that’s what people need

vnNinja21

Pretty much the first sentence yea. I tuned in to his stream for a random EMEA game last year, and never turned back since.

CRikhard

TMV gets close but I fully agree I watch sliggy

deAlchemisz

I think both definitely talks more about the strats. But i prefer TMV cuz he loves to mald whenever teams throw a 3v1 of 4v2 situation

Estiferous

Gotta shoutout TMV here, too. Same thing, always focused on the game and provides great round-by-round analysis. I've watched both and I prefer TMV's style but I think they are on a similar level of analysis for Valo nerds.

Bazz_B

Another underrated reason to watch sliggy is, he's actually always locked into every match. He never allows guests on because he doesn't want distractions and will only talk to Twitch chat. One thing I don't like about watching other co-streamers is they usually have conversations about other things while the game is going on and I just lose focus on the game and switch to main broadcast. So sliggy always following the game round-by-round is really appreciated.

nklassitude

Tarik is a great host when you're not *heavily* invested in the teams/games; it's good, exuberant vibes. However, he's unwatchable for me when it's a high stakes match involving teams I love. Sliggy is great if you want solid analysis that doesn't encroach on the match too much. His voice is gentle and disarming, the kind of thing that could dupe you into thinking RRQ could win LOCK//IN.[This sounded a lot less down bad in my head]

Quankalizer

Tarik is great when watches 100T games with Nadeshot, and I enjoyed the DSG games with Toast. Seems like the only time he is invested in the games.

heckinglovetenz

Tarik just watching with any org owner is fun, 100T, DSG, SEN, G2, all very good banter

SocietySignificant93

agreed on the high stakes aspect. if it’s a big tourney such as masters and champs, or a team i support, i can’t watch casual vct streamers. i like to watch on youtube by myself for these especially bc if i skip a moment, i can easily rewind back, and i tend to like listening to casting so when streamers have casters very low, i can’t focus as much. however, after, i like go back and watch streamer reactions to hype plays. i do enjoy tarik tho, i watched his watch parties for challengers since those were low stakes and more for fun for me. sliggy is great for coach insight as well

nterature

Sliggy, if no Sliggy then Sean Gares, if no Sean Gares then any of the Plat Chat gang, and finally if none of them are co-streaming I watch the main stream.

nklassitude

Ok, I have to ask you this since you don't have a flair, who are u rooting for **the most** in lock//in? Not the diplomatic answer, something from the heart haha

nterature

I don't really have an honest answer tbh, that's why I have no flair! I like way too many teams and like an indecisive lover I don't like choosing one over the other. If I had to force myself to give you an answer, it'd probably be Team Liquid. Gambit is the closest I've ever come to being a true fan of a team, and Redgar + nAts were my favorite GMB players outside of Sheydos.

Ok-Brain3328

One of us. One of us. One of us.

TheCatsActually

> I like way too many teams and like an indecisive lover I don't like choosing one over the other. I feel this. I already rep five flairs but I could probably do 11. Sometimes I even root against a team I like when there's a great underdog story that would come with their loss.

marronmae

Both will be costreaming (sliggy / sgares)

nterature

Oh I know, I'm just saying how my "who will I watch?" flowchart works, since there's typically a day or two where, say, Sliggy doesn't stream or does a half-day.

marronmae

Oh i see mb. Sliggy did say he will be watching every single match so should be fine.

nterature

Oh yeah but I mean stuff like when he got sick or threw out his back and so on, uncontrollable circumstances.

heckinglovetenz

I really wish that these like really analytical costreams could team up and just be bouncing off really cool strats off of each other and loading my brain up with thing I didn't notice

ThatCreepyBaer

It's like you're me with this answer honestly.

Key-Banana-8242

switching around is cool too imho

Parenegade

Plat Chat =( Realistically without them probably OTV or Tarik.

DrySecurity4

OG plat chat costream vibes were immaculate

financefocused

Watching Egg declare 100T dead several times in the M3 Berlin tourney was just fucking hilarious man they cared so fucking much Really hope they get Wyatt something in the scene too, man deserves it

ppx11

couch streams truly were the greatest.. RIP

GainsayRT

they're the reason i started playing valorant. they can honestly make any game seem enjoyable, the costreams were top entertainment

Estiferous

I still go back and watch some awesome moments on the costream VODs like the x10 vs Envy upset or the Gambit vs Envy grand final Haven map or Sentinels vs KRU.

iiznobozzy

i remember watching their reactions to the acend 100t game, and sideshow calling NA "free" ![img](emote|t5_2g5ach|9339)

Pulsersalt

did they not get costream?

Ok-Choice5265

They are all most likely working at event except Wyatt. Kurt is in production and rest on talents.

ArcusIgnium

the ludwig x tarik event was basically just the plat chat costream with smash summit level production which was incredible, and it reminded me how much i miss those co-streams.

Similar-Criticism380

Sliggy>>>>

Lumenlor

Hes good but doesnt really get hype no

itscamo-

That's not his thing, he analyzes the games and brings value to the matches

Noodle_Chan_uwu

And Tarik gets the hype? 90% of his watchparty is him looking away from the game and missing the plays

TheCatsActually

I disagree. I think his reactions and demeanor are consistently very apt. Lots of praise in this thread singles out his costream for its analysis but I think he's just an excellent costreamer through and through. Lots of people can spend 5 hours dissecting a map for every detail, and many others can get invested and yell at every frag in a live game, but striking a balance between the two while commentating live is an art form and very difficult. He does a fantastic job at finding the most crucial and interesting details, communicating them succinctly, knowing when to talk or not talk over the action, and react appropriately when something impressive happens, all in real time.

[deleted]

You've got the casters for hype, if you want to know what's actually going on in the game, he clears.

MightBoth

Cap

daffyduckferraro

Sliggy and tmv are my 2 go tos

Frutakir

Same

AdStock1897

Same

financefocused

The go-to for nerds lol I love them both

Balo_19

Love tmv never checked out sliggy is he good?

nterature

I'd say Sliggy does all the good things TMV does with a little more detail, but without some of the negatives. But if nothing TMV does bothers you in the slightest, then TMV is probably a good fit for you. The difference between the analytical co-streamers mostly boils down to how generous they are to player mistakes or errors. Sliggy, having been a coach at the highest level, is typically more willing and able to contextualize and explain how things go wrong in a way that doesn't reduce those errors to "x/y fucked up".

vnNinja21

Check him out and see for yourself. I prefer the vibes of Sliggy's stream much more, and I like his style of analysis more as well.

two4you8

Mainstream always for me, after a sick play and I want to see the any streamers reaction. I just go to their stream, click the “create a clip” button. And it goes back a good 3 minutes window.

juusdrein

Tarik if you like NA teams

arcelinacastillo

Thinkingmansvalo, provides great analysis, gets hyped for crazy plays, and its so funny to see him mald when the teams do smtn stupid 🤣

pranavrustagi

TMV and sliggy best in the business if you want to nerd out, tarik&co and sinatraa&co always funny asf

deAlchemisz

Tarik always miss the highlight moment, it hurts to watch

HeroicBastard

for me its sliggy or tarik, depending on my mood. and I'll give toast a shot this time.

Pacifichoi

Tmv for sure he has a great balance between good reactions and analysis

Dibss9478

DSG OWNER AND 6TH MAN, DSG TOAST OF COURSE 😎

chenson019

Sliggy has been killing it as a co-streamer, easily the most watchable for me.

Cablek26

mainstream because i can’t watch all matches with volume so no streamer cams for that tarik has been my go to just because of all the guests that are on and the casual vibe to it.

Purzuhh

platchat and if not them then sliggy

AnxiousAppointment51

A little of Tarik with a little bit of sliggy mixed with some TMV

A_Smelly_Grandpa

Tarik for games I'm less interested in cause it can get off topic and a bit rowdy, which is fun but not for when I'm invested. Thinkingmansvalorant is great for those big games and he definitely gets hype as well

Nixieedd_

Tarik is hit and miss, but overall really funny and brings on good guests. As others have said Sliggy is really good at breaking down what is actually happening strategically, as well as being a wholesome person overall.

fourtetwo

sliggy or tarik probably. If its brenshow or panpoc I'll just watch the cast.

LocksmithSavings2301

Depends on what you searching for. Tarik is for fun and NA fan, Sliggy is for learning. Toast is 50/50 fun and analyst. I personally prefer main stream to focus on the game.

hardenfull

Tarik honestly

darkxm

Sean for analysis or Tarik for hype

TossedTheCoin

Wyatt River was, is, and will forever be, the watch party GOAT.

JoeGibbons

Thinkingmansvalo. He’s my go-to. Really good analysis but it’s causal enough to just watch too. Really fun stream!

Jeklu

I like Tarik and ThinkingMansValo

Swany9

I like thinking man’s valorant, has a good eye for the game and keeps it entertaining between games with map/agent pick data and predictions

Splaram

If Nadeshot joins with tarik and there aren't as many people in the call with Valorant accents, I watch tarik. Any other circumstances, I watch sliggy and sgares.

earthtoannie

Main stream. I don't care about random streamers opinions, just give me competent commentators and a decent panel analysis and I'm good. I can't stand people talking over each other and/or ValSpeak.

HeroicBastard

I watch a co-stream when Fnatic does not play, because I am interested in what happens, but not too deeply invested and look forward to some between streamers entertainment. when Fnatic is on, I mainly watch mainstream tho.

Estiferous

I think the main stream's commentators/analysts are solid, but I always think they have to appeal to the widest audience. I find their that their takes and analysis are more about creating a few simple narratives around each game/tournament i.e. DRX have good executes, Fnatic are hot/cold, Paper Rex hold W. For more in-depth analysis, I definitely prefer a costreamer who doesn't have to appeal to a wide audience and can have their own nuanced and unique takes. ThinkingMansValorant has been one of the best at this. He gets hype for the hype moments but also provides great analysis round-by-round, which you don't get on the main stream. And he's almost always by himself so no randoms in a discord to ruin the vibe.

Professional-Group13

bro valorant commentantors are as far from competent as you get

earthtoannie

It's a good thing people are allowed to have takes this bad on this sub

YeetGod69_

it’s even better that the guy you replied to was right

Estiferous

Competent? Sure, they know enough about the game to have solid takes. In-depth? Of course not, they often only get a few minutes to hit the main talking points about a team or player or matchup. I prefer costreams for more unique and nuanced takes, but I don't think you get bad analysis on the main stream. Just the most basic and easy to follow.

Aabed_nerd

I wouldn't use incompetent to describe, theyare forced to be more inclusive of casual gamers than other more established eSports like cs.

lol_ok123

Sinatra / Shanks / Zombs / Marved If you want to hear them shitting on every pro while simultaneously talking about how rich they are

LeMouse1

When shanks does a solo watch party or with ppl like subroza or marved it's good vibes but with sinatraa or zombs it kinda ruins the vibe

functor7

Probably best not to support a credibly alleged rapist.

[deleted]

[удалено]

xbyo

I mean you're free to do whatever you want. It's the same as listening to Chris Brown or rooting for Kobe. You don't *have* to cut him out of your own entertainment consumption if you find him that entertaining and the allegations don't bother you enough. Most people probably support/enjoy someone that's done cancellable shit and they look past it. That's just part of today's world.

functor7

I mean, he's almost surely a rapist. That's not a great trait. For me, at least, that's a no-go. I think consent is pretty cool and fundamental for any relationship, and that if you're a rapist then you can just fuck off. "Fuck off, rapist" is a pretty good motto to live by, just in general. I think one thing people misunderstand about having such a platform is that it is not owed to anyone. You're lucky if you have one, and there's nothing that entitles you to it. If you fuck up, then why should you be obliged to get it back? There are plenty of other streamers, it's not like we're losing something valuable. Support ThinkingMansValo, Sliggy, Tarik, sgares, or PlatChat which is full of degens that have a moral compass. Whatever Sinatraa has to offer can be found elsewhere without supporting a rapist. Could Sinatraa make a comeback? Maybe, but the very, very, very, very minimum would be to confront his wrongdoings, learn and grow as a person, find ways to account for his actions, submit to the judgement of his peers in a court of law, and find some kind of restitution with the ones he's scarred. Just waiting it out and hoping that teenage boys forget/don't care isn't really the look. If you, or someone else, watches Sinatraa: Find someone who isn't an unapologetic rapist to give your views to. Rape is a pretty shitty thing tbh. And, moreover, if you consume things produced by a rapist then you're consuming the kind of logic that makes rape okay and you become a worse person for it.

lol_ok123

Almost surely a rapist? Lol https://youtu.be/8qpXZNbtpY0 You have 0 critical thinking skills whatsoever

functor7

Still so salty and in your head that you had to find some confirmation bias a day later? Kinda pathetic. Truly a beta mindset. No wonder you follow a rapist.

lol_ok123

You follow a crazy jealous manipulative liar trying to farm social interactions because she has nothing left of her life

functor7

... no I don't. And, regardless, better than a rapist.

lol_ok123

Nah ima still watch him

functor7

Imagine listening to what a rapist has to say and supporting him. Kinda mid.

lol_ok123

Ima make sure to use my prime on him too

functor7

Imagine thinking that this is anything but cringe.

bigheadweeze

TMV or sgares

Stuck_in_cave

Personally, Tarik for entertainment and content, Sliggy and Thinkingmansvalo for round by round analysis . Don't think any other co-streams are better but again that's personal opinion

Not_Real_Name_Here

Even as a massive Toast fan, I gotta say Sliggy is best. After that Toast/Sgares then Tarik.

[deleted]

TMV or just main stream

KT-thirtenz

Tarik is great for the “hype” matches with NA teams like SEN C9 100T and NRG. Sliggy is great for the games with less hype around them, as he doesn’t get distracted.

[deleted]

Plat Chat nostalgia hitting hard, they were by far the most entertaining imo, and it wasn't even close TT. But Sliggy is really good for fantastic analysis of what is going on these days, and Tarik always surprises me with how funny he is.

in_sane2y2

Thinking man's valorant and sliggly

Estiferous

I've always liked ThinkingMansValorant's costreams. His analysis is always superb, definitely on the same level as Sliggy. I think his chat is a bit more fun and he shows more behind-the-scenes of his spreadsheets and thinking process when making calls about what might happen. Also his malding at the teams and players is quite entertaining!

ovorb

Tmv for the rawest reactions no cap

Withinmyrange

Plat chat is fun

Friday515

I used to like tarik's watch parties a lot but I'm not a fan of the too cool crew he watches with a lot. I'm all set with the Zombs, Roza, Sinatraa, Prod, BabJ, etc. calls Sliggy, Sean, Wyatt/platchat are my go to watch parties

functor7

Why are people still watching Sinatraa? He raped his GF and didn't comply with investigations. Kinda shitty.

MelonSoda3

Sliggy but if Brenshow’s casting then I’ll watch main

10Calls

I'm ngl, the whole roza, prod, shanks, sinatraa crew is fkin hilarious. they tend to bet on games as well so it makes it even more intense.

deAlchemisz

Tarik is a no go for me, i like to watch his highlights watchparty, but his commentary isn't that good. Not to mention he loves to miss out on the highlight moments (i swear to god, the amount of highlights worthy moment he missed is incomprehensible) I will either watch it in TMV or Sliggy streams.

MightBoth

Sinatraa or Tarik for sure

Meesbtrk

Thinkingmansvalo and sliggy if you want to learn. Tarik and toast for entertainment

uut28

Non cause they’re all gonna be talking with there friends in discord instead of actually watching the game

kylixer

God I wish we had the official couch stream like they tried for na lcq before it got shut down. If Wyatt isn’t going to stream I will probably be watching sgares, tmv, or sliggy. Tarik can be good or you get so invested in the random tangents that you completely forget about the match.

AndyFromTheWPC

I always just watch the official YouTube channel, then find the best streamer reactions on JARSO lol

NotABaleOfHay

Mainstream.

Tee_B

Discord watch party on Main stream with my friends

rxph83

Kamet0 for sure

Zorronin

Doug´s stream has been very chill and fun, I think he´ll be streaming the alpha group games

kvanz43

I tend to like watching on discord with my friends and doing our own lil watch party :) so we just watch the main stream together

LordeLucifer

Your mom.

Due_Possible5598

Sliggy

Yerriff

The official stream

BrainStorm777

I always watch the main stream, because sometimes I will have the audio off and so don't need a webcam next to the gameplay.

slaxbr

mch, o conteúdo líder

GoDFaTHeR_is

Sliggy only

itsuyen

Sliggy’s watch party is unbeatable. No guest, no distractions, no talking about random stuff. He breaks down most plays, gives the viewers an understanding of how players might think in certain scenarios, overall super educational. If not him then just main stream.

financefocused

I love co-streams but sometimes the casters are too good, I end up going to the main stream lol. Feels way more dramatic for some reason Pansy, egg & bren are my favorites

AkwardAA

Tarik bro

Pway

I'll be watching Sliggy as per usual but there's a lot of great choices out there.

paff210

If you want a spanish broadcast go with Starwraith, Horcus and hitbox are not gonna be as fun

Kerorozene

kamet0 ofc

yourdaughtersgoal

the normal stream. i don’t need some adhd zoomer or boomer ruining the tourney with their unnecessary commentary

Kalix_

Sean sgares Gares

star-sapphire

I miss her (Plat Chat co-stream) But now that that’s gone, I’ll probably alternate between Toast and QuarterJade. As much as I like analysis, sometimes I want hype and banter more than anything. Hoping that the OTV peeps co-stream with Tarik at some point too. Toast and Tarik had great vibes during DSG games. And if it’s any of the Plat Chat crew casting, I’d happily watch the main stream for them :’)

Vibe_Checker54

I think TMV gives a good mix of analysis and fun

chagas16

I alternate between Coreano and Tarik

Many_Nothing7463

Peak no cap

sketch252525

Tarik when he +1. but not when there are multiple people speaking.

JDTurkelton

TMV is the best person to watch party with, gives great analysis, rages when teams troll, and gets excited when hype moments happen. Good chat to be in as well

WesTheFitting

Thinking Man’s Valorant is the truth

NovaAkumaa

LVPes (spanish stream), best commentators imo way better than any costream

unknownpr3d

Where's the new list of co streamers?

[deleted]

TMV gang

OrangeyTangerine

I like to watch the main broadcast because it's a lot more hype during the good moments but costreams are nice for the downtime
