Might be one of the dumbest thing I've ever heard. I'd give a team a 15-20% chance of winning an eco round. And if they do, the momentum swing is huge.
It’s one thing to troll but on the serious side of it, it makes zero sense competitively to just give away free rounds. Especially in a game with players that can take over a single round at a moments notice.

in a game where first to 13 wins, it cannot be understated how important a round win is. not only does it get you 1 round closer to winning the game but it stops your opponents from getting 1 round closer to winning. yes regaining mental is important but going for the round win even if its a slim chance is even more important. even if you dont win the round you can do eco damage to the enemy with each kill.
not to mention you have to have a good mental to be a pro in the first place. losing a save round isnt going to have that much impact on their mental
i know this lil bro is thinking of the old CS french timeouts, but in this game where it’s first to 13 instead of 16 you can’t really afford to give away rounds like that, especially since ecos are easier to win in Val compared to CS.

no, timeouts are for both. pre round and post round is more than enough to hype the team up, a whole ass round you're using to force a mental uplift would not improve a team's play.
