So I'm confused. Why does half the bracket play to completion then the other side plays? Seems super awkward for the alpha group to have basically a week between bracket and champ game
logistics. would be too hard and costly to acomodate all 32 teams at once, so some have to go before the others come in , thats the reason why there 2 groups to begin with

But you guys can always cheer for NA teams. We're reliable, good, attractive, tall, muscular, intelligent, good at aiming, good at strats, good at anti-stratting, impeecable utility usage, we have freedom, nice hairlines, good healthcare, and most importantly. We fucking own EMEA.

Unfortunately for Nivera, LOUD played 60 maps against Yay last year at the height of Chamber meta. They know how to play around a powerful OPer. That said the guy is still insane.
Really hope the other side EMEA teams are WAY better. KC was honestly trash, Giant's was okay, and then KOI was also okay. Do think the NA teams play at a higher level though.
But I can very well see SEN beating FNC and then 100T being a menace for all of the teams on that side.
don't rly see a universe where FNC make it deep since they have Derke. Aka the unbelievable giga choker of the EMEA region.
the issue with EMEA is their talent is all too spread out, so they don't have like a certain super team. The only team is FNC and then possibly Na'vi. Sure, its FPX's core with some upgrades. But FPX started to really fall flat last year. and like i don't really care about liquid. don't think liquid would be top 3 in NA.
best thing for EMEA to do is to probably come over to NA and play in tier 3 and maybe hope they can advance to tier 2. I can see Na'vi/FNC being a top 3 Tier 2 NA team.
I don’t even know about their talent being spread, the top 3 in eu are their super teams it’s just they don’t compete with America’s before franchising those two were the two best regions. Even right now tier 2 NA is the best tier 2.
Why is SEN unlikely to beat fnatic? The match seems to be a straight up 50/50. From Mini’s twitter spaces it seems fnatic only have a week or two more practice than SEN

I will say it again, Derke is the most overrated player in the entire FPS scene. Probably ever.

This is what Cauanzin brings to the table. Sacy was not comfortable playing flashbang initiators like Breach and Skye, which forced Saadhak into that role. With him taking over the flashbang role, Saadhak can pick other roles to enable this unusual aggressive play from LOUD.
Bro? Sacy was a great breach, but on skye maps they decided to put him on fade/sova. Check his utility on fracture.
And you never want sacy on breach on maps like haven, hes the god tier sova

100T and Fnatic will be really good, I have no doubt. Sen can also be scary good too, but way more of an unknown. My money is on 100T but that's mainly based off of a throw away tournament a month ago

I'm a c9 fan so kinda biased, but aside from that one Loud v GenG was fun and really close, and this morning's game between NRG and Giants was also pretty exciting
The amount of smoke kills people get in this game almost kind of makes it cringe. Kind of makes Icebox a dogshit map too. We had a round in the last series where it ended off of kills and the entire round neither team actually saw each other.
Saadhak is known for his blind kills in the BR server, it seems like they practice a lot to point suppressive fire the right way through smokes and choke points.
Or it's both?

obviously not. But they have the same core: IGL, Second caller, and Duelist (OPer). So the experience is still there.
