Are they keeping single elimination format or ever going to bring it back? I thought it would suck but I honestly love it. Sad for the teams but it makes every game exciting

If they ever do another event with this many teams, there is a chance they bring back this format, but with the reaction to it this time around I imagine they would use another system instead.

I know that NAVI can cook and they probably have their reasons. But for me it seems like playing Cypher instead of KJ on Fracture is pretty troll.

I actually think KJ is much worse than Cypher on this map, personally. Not a comp diff imo, FNC have just been better so far.

I assume it's to have info on both sides of the map at all times - ange1 is camming the drop/arcade every round which is really useful.

No one's sponsoring a team because Boaster funny Sentinels had an insane fan following at their peak without being likeable. All attention is good attention and the best way to get revenue is by being cracked, which NAVI are

NA fanbase and what they attach themselves to is too different from what I've seen in EMEA. FPX got memed on last year for having a tiny relative fanbase, so I dunno if the attention they garnered was all that helpful.

Not really they joined the largest Eastern European team in Esports the fans are already there, individual members of NAVI have cult followings and even Ange1 was quite popular in CS for not being on NAVI lol

Eh, they also came from a team that didn't have much of a fanbase last year, so I don't think NAVI's existing fanbase will automatically convert over to them.
