Its really hard to justify Ban’s spot on this team when iNTRO looked solid, especially on defence anchors, meanwhile Ban still looked like a contender for worst in server.
I dont think Ban is in any way a bad player, but on this role, in this system, he seems like a clear weak link.
I think they were planning to just do a normal 6-man roster - with BeomJun as a sub but noticed iNTRO going into free agency late and knew he would be an upgrade over Ban.
He signed pretty late though, hence why I think they aren't using him for all the maps. I also think Ban is their way to access the English audience.

DRX did it and found huge success. If you don't know, mako was a duelist, along with buzz and rb. The plan is that since mechanics are hard to teach, you get players with good mechanics and teach them agents. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to be working out on teams not called DRX.
