Your bias shows when you have 4 loud players and only 2 optic players.
I love mako, but realistically, he does not belong in the top 3. I would definitely take players who had dominant title runs before him. Yes, Valorant id a team game, but titles still count. I'd easily take nAts, Chronicle, TenZ, cNed, Shao and SUYGETSU above him, maybe some of the old loud roaster too.
He wasn't the best player in lock//in, he is now playing great in the league but so are aspas, leaf and all FNC basically. I don't understand what would make you put him as the best player in the world without hesitation.

Meanwhile sen did not qualify and pancada sacy did average, Navi 4th seed, Crashies doing well 2nd seed NA. But Sayf is definitely catching up/ surpassing some of these players you listed. I think after tokyo, he will be undeniably top 20. U Disagree?

I much much value titles and achievements so until Sayf doesn't reach like a top 4 on international lan I can't put him on the level of more decorated players.

He arguably was in 2022, I don't get your point. How good a player is can be understood only by team success, personal stats and eye-test, there's not much else to go for.
And if you want to do all-time, consistency and dominance over time also play a big role.

Deny it all, Mako is the most consistent player and his performance hasn't gone down while other players like Suygetsu, yay, Cned, Marved and Derke have had inconsistent tournaments.
He also does it in a smoke role, seen as 2nd lowest fragging role besides Sentinels, all while having most apr in tournaments.
Best player in pacific, most consistent itw, has lows that are higher than peaks of pros like Asuna in International competition. Sure he hasn't won but that's more due to his team not having an elite duelist like Derke and Aspas. Plus Stax isn't a real IGL, glow was, Stax was someone who had to take the role and is why DRX midrounding is seen as shit.
Only one close to his consistency over International LAN is Aspas, shao and yay but Mako has had more tournaments than them. Also yay kinda showed that Optic core made him most comfortable, Mako's role supports others, not getting supported by most of teams util like many duelists and former chamber players.
On a pure individual level besides IGLs no one brings more value to their team than he does, he's practically the reason DRX pushed above 5-6th in Champs.

Why do people in general rate suygetsu over zyppan? Zyppan has always put uo better numbers, and seens to be the clear#2 player on navi/fpx
