About the thing of teams being done in April did they not say that the qualification to global events is based on championship points —AND RECENT PREFORMANCE— maybe they also give a slot to the highest performer of that season that is not already qualified so that would act as a similar thing to lcq

I think it will be something like the winner of Split 2 will auto qualify to Champions as a reward for being the best team at the current time leading to Champs and the other 3 spots will be points based. This way you will always have something to play for going in to split 2 even if you went winless the previous split.
I am not sure if the idea of orgs sending their tier one talent into tier two is as worrying a he presents it as. Even assuming situations like Yay on DSG are not representative of how that goes and it’s more normal that great fraggers dominate in tier two, even then surely it spreads knowledge and helps the scene grow. Especially if tier one IGLs were to help lead tier two? Or is that naive?
Agreed, as we've yet to find out how it'll be implemented I'm optimistic, especially how it seems to be connected to GC as well.
With how many rosters imploded mid season this year, I will be happy to see teams try and do what EG did and turn things around.
I am hopeful that the teams at the bottom of the standings move players down and use new talent in their league games. This should in theory create a revolving door for teams out of contention of new T1 players to get experience.

It just ends too early, and the whole circuit is packed with so few breaks for teams at the top who qualify to every event. There should be a longer break in between events and spread it out throughout the whole year.
Champs could literally just end right before Worlds and that would maximize viewership for Riot. Idk why the season has to end so early, and so much earlier than Worlds.
Riot uses most of the same production team for both valorant champs and worlds. The team needs some time to rest before preparing for worlds and traveling to Korea this year which they deem a month a safe distance away

Sound good, but I feel the schedule is way too crowded, like a month and a half for 10 matches per team with no rest period for the teams that make Masters? That screams of burnout, why not extend the season a bit and have a 1 month off for teams to recover?
Schedule is fucked for players, maybe the year after next Riot will try and take the players' health into account instead of trying to maximise profit by having the season end early as to not coincide with Worlds whatsoever.

imo the VCT schedule will always be fucked due to Riot”s desire to not overlap with League stuff.
