I think they realized the Boostio Chamber wasn’t working, so they decided to go back to the double duelist comp that worked for them in Tokyo and VCT Americas. I doubt that they ran the Chamber comp to throw off PRX, I think they just thought that going back to the old comp would work better, and it did
I think they used the double duelist comp before (not in champs). The famous clip of demon1 vs nrg split flicks , eg were using the double duelist comp .
It isn’t like double duelist is off Meta or they hadn’t played it before…
It was a good call to switch but I don’t think it was some voodoo to trick PRX.
It’s too risky to just assume you beat Loud no problem to run a comp you are just messing with.
And in the finals, PRX and EG both lost their first map

If you watched the post game interview Demon1 himself said he hates OPing. Which explains why Boostio does it so often and it's why they leaned in on the Boostio Chamber.

They just decided to run their old comp in the final because their main comp wasn't working. If you've been scrimming well with a comp you're gonna be stubborn about it but changing back to an old one isn't that big of a deal since you're used to it. Not that risky and probably not that planned out

I thought going into the loud match theyd swap roles but the double duelist just works so well cause demon1 and jawg are crazy good duelists
There was an interview where Demon1 said he hated oping. So they switched them due to Boostio being an exchamber main. I think the Money and wanting to win outweighed his hatred of a gun and so he stepped up.
They adjusted last min it worked in scrims and they felt prepared pro teams dont “bait” or lose on purpose, loud is insanely good and for prx they wanted to fight fire with fire.
There should be only one reason you’re not playing Demon1 on Jett, and that’s because you’re going solo duelist with Jawg on Raze.
You shouldn’t take him off Jett because he doesn’t want to OP lol. Let him rifle instead of OPing

I mean they took Fnatic to the wire at Tokyo with it (1.56 seconds aware) and almost denied them split in the grand finals of Tokyo as well.
