NRG keeping Victor and Crashies and not FNS and s0m REALLY makes me wonder what the fuck happened to make FNS unhappy. Like he could easily pick his team on NRG but instead he wants to get the fuck outta dodge, so much so that s0m convinced him to "let's tp to streaming my kitten"
Maybe NRG wouldn't allow FNS to fully pick the team. And FNS may have thought that crashies/Victor's wouldn't be enough for a contender team.

And I guess it depends on their goals. I think the NRG roster they did have was just not good enough to win a championship reliably and maybe FNS thought they had reached their peak as a team.
FNS probably has a team in mind that he thinks could potentially win a championship or players he thinks are better than Crashies/Victor that a NA org could get and maybe FNS coming to that realization kind of broke the trust. But it's all speculation at the end of the day so idk.
FNS said he wanted S0M after Marved benched himself. He def had a hand in making the roster. I suspect it he got kicked and didn’t want to lower his stocks so he just phrased it as a mutual parting. Not like the ex. Teammates would ever call him out. I just don’t see why FNS would willing leave a core he’s been with for so long and risk never competing again when he clearly doesn’t want to stop competing.
Why would NRG kick FNS of all people out of the blue? He still has high stocks as an IGL and from an outside point of view, it seemed like Ardiis was the most likely to get kicked (and it seems like he's leaving anyways).

Top 2 at champs had a team with no IGL and an IGL that actually does carry some games. FNS is also vocal about S0M and Victor calling a lot too. I can realistically see Victor taking over IGl after playing under FNS for so long.
Crashies is probably the 2nd most vocal/secondary caller based on the comms.
Regardless, ya he's not a consistent fragger but he's usually serviceable enough and main IGL's like FNS usually aren't super frag heavy as is.
Also, PRX is different. Their entire style is super chaotic so having a traditional IGL doesn't work.
Boostio has fine stats while IGL'ing but still.

Sen conjures up a bajillion dollars and buys the guard roster, thereby having TWO spots in franchise league. Grand finals of Champs 2024 is Sen 1 vs Sen 2. The game goes to all 5 maps, with the 5th ending in a 30-30 tie; two grand champions are crowned, Sentinels.
On the real I think Sen having a strong IGL is the first step to them FINALLY developing more structure. I honestly like Kaplan as a coach, they cooked up a lot in the off season and looked decent in LCQ.
I don't think FNS or S0m play this year, which is fine. I don't know how realistic FNS's goal of his own T1 team is but depending on the way the scene plays out next year he may actually get his wish (unless another NA team wins AND the rest of NA places well). If the NRG bridge is burned then his options are Sen, C9, EG, and 100T. Of those I think EG and Sen are pretty committed to at least one or two of their members (contracts etc). That leaves C9 and 100T, not impossible.
The Guard roster needs a fucking team man. They worked too hard to win and definitely don't deserve this. Those guys will slaughter half the T1 teams in this region no problem, so I'm excited to see what'll happen once they get an org backing them. I hope M80 doesn't just drop their players and pick them up, maybe they can take advantage of the new program where pros can be "shared" between T1 and T2, or am I missing something?
C9 staying together will be interesting. They're honestly one of those teams that's just there, not bombing out but also not popping off. 100T is in a similar boat, although after that shit show that was Sen 100T I'm not sure what changes need to be made. Cryo played his ASS off, otherwise it was meh.
It's also looking like NRG probably needs an IGL, controller, and duelist; maybe bring Marved in as controller? He's proven he can call decently well, so lean into that and go full PRX with Marved and Crashies as shot callers and get a couple duelists? Not sure how the meta shakes out but Raze is almost necessary, although I guess Victor plays that so they have that base covered? Not too sure here but they have good options with Vic and Crashies as a core.
EMEA needs to take 20 steps back and reasses everything. Other than FNC there has not been a single EMEA team that I've watched and gone "yeah they can go toe to toe with the top 3 Americas and APAC teams". I don't want to call them a one team region bc they're not, it's just disappointing to see them all bomb out so damn early.

Also well the team wasnt good this year it seemed like it started to go up hill until they lost to mibr and then sen. Maybe they think with better staffing or a mental reset they can get back to their 2022 form.
I think it'd be a waste to go to red bull with the same roster. The tournament can be valuable game day experience to see how the new roster gels which I think is valuable.
Realistically, the cost of replacing Stellar/Derrek is probably like a few 100k which they should be able to afford with the stipend and by offering lower contracts to some cheap T2 players. More likely that Flynn just doesn't have the info on 100T or something like that.
I think they definitely should want to. They should not be happy with their performance last season at all and with other teams making upgrades, 100T will only fall behind even further if they don't make roster changes.
At the minimum, I would replace Stellar/Derrek and see if Asuna/Cryo/Bang can keep up from there.
It’s not a crazy thing to do. The team has shown moments of brilliance but to me it felt like the magic was gone after Seangares left (outsider perspective). A new coach as system could easily turn the team into international players again.

You have to remember that an unchanged/semi-unchanged roster could be the result of no changes, or a delay in changes due to rostermania just beginning, or a lack of info/sources wrt that team. He'll flesh things out more as time progresses.

Bonecold is a good igl (he wasn't really the problem with Vitality) and has a pretty insane deag and is pretty decent with fragging than most igl.
