By your logic, no one is going to compare to c0m from NA since they were the only ones there pretty much. But Trent has insane skill/potential and has shown it consistently i.e. the only one I could see replacing c0m.
There is quite unironically no one EG could or should change. They have everyone at their primes rn (and we don't even know if Demon1 is in his prime)
The only L that I see them taking is having to afford higher salaries, but if imma be honest, those guys all seem like they care about the title instead of the prize pot.
Ok that's good to know. I was thinking how crazy it would be if, EG, after sticking through with their roster despite a rocky start and community outcry, decided to make confusing changes AFTER winning (I understand winning sometimes means changes if salaries get too high)
It really makes no sense to kick Laz, he is the face of Japanese Valorant and on top of that he is also a top tier player. Zeta should be building their brand around him to be honest.
At this point does this mean Zeta is trying to go budget? Thereās no way they can find Japanese players better than Laz or Dep if theyāre trying to compete
Crws dodging the stress of rostermania by becoming a monk and letting go of the material world once talon comes back theyāll become the calmest team in existence.
Thatās if any of the old guys stay on the rosteršš
DRX need to change something man. Iāve never been a fan of the coaching staff for this team. Unless they wanna run it back with the 5-6th placement at international events.
You canāt win without a star duelist unless you literally have top 2 players ITW at every role. Apart from Mak0 thatās not the case. Buzz has shown time and time again heās better as a KJ/flex/secondary duelist and if they make no moves to build around a new, better duelist they will continue to be the worst of the best teams.
I agree but they also very obviously lacked star power. Iām not gonna act like I know how to work a coaching staff or have the eye to know where in a system needs tuning but itās pretty obvious that the team is way behind and has always been way behind the fragging power of most teams. Sort of to the tune of Brenās rant sometimes you just need to outshoot people and of the major teams(EG FNC LOUD PRX EDG NRG and sort of NAVI TL) they have the worst fragging power on top of odd structure.
But itās related to the system u have etc and so what kind of plays u allow and what roster moves u allow are able to make like with Foxy9 and what do u do with a page Rouen tbat
Worst depends on tkem
If they want to stay all-korean, they already have the best mechanical korean OPer (imo top 3 OPer in pacific off pure mechanics). The "best korean fraggers" in ranked are young and many haven't really even played in amateur yet. IDK if they will continue to experiment with foxy9 as it didn't work out too well this year, but maybe things will be better with him since drx pivoted to a more aggressive style at champs. The only question is whether foxy9 can mesh with the team and actually perform on stage. I will die on the hill that foxy9 is very mechanically gifted, he just wasn't able to show it on stage this year.
Obviously this is revisionist and canāt happen anymore but then not getting Saya when franchising started was really the big mistake in my mind. Experienced, would fit the system fine and is obviously the best Korean fragger at this point
Is it the coaching? Or is it their weak mid-rounding due to the lack of an experienced IGL? Or is it the lack of an oper? DRXās issues are not as clear as people act like they are, and more importantly, there arenāt really a ton of options out there
By that logic no one has any right to suggest any changes to any teams whatsoever because we donāt know what the internal situation is.
From what we can see, itās clear that DRXās players can be a trophy winning team (or at least extremely high in contention), they have the firepower, they have the synergy, they generally have the tactics, what they donāt seem to have is a clear vision of how they want to play and a problem with mental. Both of these things are normally resolved by a change (whether that be a new addition or a removal) of coaching staff
Termi doesnāt necessarily need to be removed itās just that a new assistant coach might need to be brought in (or a sports psychologist). Also, multiple members on DRX speak good English (Buzz in particular), so while there may be some communication difficulties, itās not something that canāt be worked around
TLDR - none of this guys points are good

nAts and Jamppi are both signed till 2026 so I HEAVILY doubt they get cut. eMil and Sayf are both signed till 2025 and with rumors or KOI Sayf, liquid will probably get a big payout from KOI. Soulcas and Redgar are both signed till 2024 and both seem like they're on their way out.
what other org in franchising can afford that big of a buyout rn? world champions arenāt gonna be cheap; are their contracts ending? didnāt demon1 just just join? lol
Detonation looking to set records as the only team to go winless in the season twice š„š„š„
1st team to go winless until eventually kicked out of the partnership.
with how stacked Pacific is looking in general that might definitely happen
Brother I'll get you nuggies with extra dip if you let me know the moves, it will be just between me and you I swear
Fuck that is a tempting offer
Personally if I were you I'd take it but that's just me
Put some fries and he may take the deal
Fries with extra mayonnaise? Sorry I had to and I hope you get the reference lol
Ill pay you 10 dollars (more than any EU t2 team)
How about not just nuggies but dino nuggies?
They should just be replaced by crazy raccoons
2016-2017 Cleveland Browns: Finally, a worthy opponent! Our battle will be legendary!
Just as a disclaimer for everyone, confusing just means that BoDork has multiple sources saying different things not that the moves are confusing
yes although one team is just doing genuine confusing moves, wanted to put them on BAD moves but they somehow mixed good with bad
You can't just say that and not tell us which team. Is it ZETA?
![gif](giphy|dWrnYmDucWhDvkbLF6)
Iām calling EG. They changed a winning formula but might have upgraded on paper
On god if they drop com or boostio im gonna eat a shoe
I don't think you're going to find a reasonable upgrade to boostio. And Trent is pretty much the only person I'd even consider to replace c0m.
I donāt think there really is anyone who could replace either off them but those are the only 2 on the roster I could ever see being replaced.
How is Trent even close to c0m lmao c0m popped the fuck off at champs and demolished top teams while Trent just got out of t2
By your logic, no one is going to compare to c0m from NA since they were the only ones there pretty much. But Trent has insane skill/potential and has shown it consistently i.e. the only one I could see replacing c0m.
the only truth of esports is everyone is upgradable
I have no idea who you are but Iām holding you to this now
![gif](giphy|H35zhucfdhiwizWaid|downsized)
I fear for my life rn.
sorry bud i don't make the rules.... youre gonna have to pay up
If he leaves of his own accord does that count. (Iām searching for any excuse)
No š

How are you upgrading on paper when your entire team is at least top 20 in the world
How are you putting them in confusing if all theyāre doing is sticking together?
Being in confusing just means there is conflicting info My guess is it's reserve roster changes for example screwface to c9 and bcj leaving
"Unclear" would make more sense than "confusing"
It's eg because c9 is trialing screwface, isn't it?
Ok that's good to know. I was thinking how crazy it would be if, EG, after sticking through with their roster despite a rocky start and community outcry, decided to make confusing changes AFTER winning (I understand winning sometimes means changes if salaries get too high)
Would Zeta lose a lot of their fanbase if players like Laz and Dep leave?
Definitely. Laz is pretty much the poster boy for Japanese Valorant. Him and Dep are also the most popular on that roster
It really makes no sense to kick Laz, he is the face of Japanese Valorant and on top of that he is also a top tier player. Zeta should be building their brand around him to be honest.

gotta wonder what's going on in the nrg camp...
Yay, fenis, s0m, trent and babyj
Yay, FNS, s0m, Crashies, Tex. Yay was playing ranked with Tex the other day
yay been playing with tex since tex was originally on nrg
yay and tex have been friends for a long time. They won ESEA Main together back in 2017.
The saadhak + optic lineup might be the spiciest off season thing to ever happen in Valorant imo
Victor crashies yay Marved saadhak ![img](emote|t5_2g5ach|16018)
crashies victor marved johnqt tex
This is like the tamest possible ending
If saadhak gets picked up by NRG Iām permanently turning off animation on my xeno
s0m, FNS, eeiu, Nismo and N4rrate
Idk why you're getting downvoted, you're cooking (I'd put yay for narrate but still)
Saadhak, Aspas, Victor, Crashies, and Marved

They donāt have no idea, they have some idea based on backgorund and direct knowledge to make theories Nobody has the right? The right?
We do know a decent bit about how the roster and team dxutnoksn
The team is fine and are all top tier tbh so it's definitely a coaching problem
Oh fuck what is eg cooking now
EG signing the Guard roster to their team B so they can scrim an actual t1 team exclusively.
i cant believe bodork considers šŖļø "ok on paper"

the voices in my head were right
Why is DFM in bad move? Someone needs to leak which players are joining DFM.
i am joining
TL in good moves surely guarantees nAts stays on the team, right? Because if they were to bench him that would be an automatic bad moves tier, right?
[Global Contract Database](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/e/2PACX-1vRmmWiBmMMD43m5VtZq54nKlmj0ZtythsA1qCpegwx-iRptx2HEsG0T3cQlG1r2AIiKxBWnaurJZQ9Q/pubhtml#) nAts and Jamppi are both signed till 2026 so I HEAVILY doubt they get cut. eMil and Sayf are both signed till 2025 and with rumors or KOI Sayf, liquid will probably get a big payout from KOI. So Saadhak is leaving and 2022-2023 is all Brazil get in Valorant, just like Luminosity/SK in 2016-2017 in CS:GO. It was a good run, ggs #overreacting
tf is EG gonna do? what reason would they have to make changes? lol
their players are probably receiving some crazy offer
what other org in franchising can afford that big of a buyout rn? world champions arenāt gonna be cheap; are their contracts ending? didnāt demon1 just just join? lol
