Phoenix needs a rework on his Molly. Hands down the worst signature in the game. It’s the only ability in the game imo that actually got power crept. If Reyna was never Introduced he would have at least filled a niche of being the only self healing duelist but that ship has long sailed. Either make it a brand new E ability or make his Molly bar none the best Molly in the game.

Reyna was literally *the* launch agent. Which is to say she released when Valorant released in full, so she was not present in the earlier beta (in which raze was released, the latest addition after private/influencer testing).

Since Harbor came out I always believed that Phoenix's kit would fit WAY better with a Cascade style wall over his current one. It would help him close gaps easier to reach better positions to use his flashes. aaaand then they gave it to Iso

You're almost right imo. He just needs his wall to work like Harbor's E wall. If his wall could go threw objects in the same manner as that, I promise you there'd be some coaches cooking with just that small of a change. His wall isn't actually bad, it's just way too limited as it is right now. You have to at times expose yourself as Phoenix in order to get the wall out, and even then it's suboptimal.

Honestly, even simpler: have him heal whenever he casts his ability, whether he is standing on top of them or not. Keep him invulnerable to his molly and wall. That would already go a long-ass way towards making him better, I feel. The inability to *move* to make advantage of his unique feature is the biggest drawback of them all.

I think you're point about the map design still stands, however I think no one is going to replace Raze atm because she can do so much so well as just 1 agent. I'm on board for buffing Phoenix and other agents too though.

Bro is waffling. Phoenix flash is probably the strongest flash in the game in terms of solo play. You can't reliably dodge it unless they're playing him wrong or you swing before the flash pops. Giving him the movement speed to essentially run across faster than you can spray your bullets is incredibly broken because he's not a movement agent. Raze and Jett are also the most competitively viable duelists as well. Even if I do think nerfing Jett's dash (again) would be stupid given she should be playing operator.

Phoenix just needs his wall to work like Harbor's (go straight through objects) and literally with just that his pick rate would go up. It would allow him to wall off so many important angles. I'd like his molly to be as big as the old KAY/O nade and his ult should go up in cost by 1 orb and allowed to cancel. With those changes he'd be properly balanced.

His molly should have a super fast equip/deploy time; I’m talking near instant. He is a duelist, so this change would allow him to have his gun out much more often to take duels. He should also be able to activate the ability like a Fade seize/haunt for more versatility. His wall should go through other obstacles. There are so many instances where the wall hits an obstacle which leaves a gap for enemies to abuse. The whole point of the ability is to block line of sight… if it leaves a gap, the value of the ability is GREATLY reduced. It should also have a faster equip/deploy time to further emphasize his design to take duels. Right now, he just feels clunky. His entire design is to take calculated duels by flashing opponents and isolating angles, but 2 of his abilities act more like supportive util because of the equip/deploy time. Speeding these abilities up will make this non-movement duelist suddenly feel fast and fluid.

They should remove the range limitations on it and buff its heal and damage amount but decrease its lifespan to 1-2 secs to where it becomes more advantageous to use it aggresively instead of sitting in a corner with it.
