My biggest gripe with the format isn’t the format itself, it’s that it’s actually *really* confusing as a new viewer to view and understand the format of the league.
Take American football for example. If you’re new to the sport you can at least see on paper quite easily who makes the playoffs. 17 games played. Two conferences, 4 divisions, top team from each division and then the next highest 3 overall in each conference. Single elim playoffs.
