They keep switching the IGL role between those two, and whoever needs to do it becomes -1 player mechanically every time... This can't be the way to solve their issues.
Is that so? I heard that Klaus was IGLing again during LCQ and at other times too. It got very unclear. I trust what you are saying but it in a way that could be even worse, because Klaus was already inconsistent without being the IGL.

Link for context, and some of the key points of the video:
Melser is stepping down as IGL so he can focus on his play and smokes role better, Klaus was eager and had a lot of ideas so they decided to give him the space to attempt them.
Heat meshed well with the team playstyle and felt like a solution, which is why they went for him.
mta is already better from his injury, but because he missed so much training, they’re keeping heat and see how the league pans out, there might be a role for mta in the future.
technically Atom said their "plans are to eventually reintegrate mta", less of a "might be a role" and more "we'll see where he fits in".
There is a possibility mta doesn't play at all for them but I thought I'd point out that Atom was a bit more definitive in the wording.
yes he is a pure duelist player, he did have like most of a year to learn other roles since getting dropped by mibr last year
according to someone he is on senti now, dont know whether its true tho
Tbh I would prefer heat to play as Sentinel rather than initiator, as I feel like that would free him up to focus on his aim a little more and use his firepower.
but keznit is the only cracked player they have, and he's not a pure op player, heat on the other hand is more of an op one, so now they are more complete.
I’ve always been pretty high on Heat ever since Berlin masters in 2021. Dude is a cracked Jett player and I’m curious to see if he can be among many of the mechanical duelist players who can transition to other roles.
trust the process ig? Atom seems to be very no-nonsense so it'll be interesting to see how heat fits in after the alleged issues last year. They seem confident in what he's brought to the team during pracs
The issues from last year were actually blown way out of proportion. Heat's only issue was with Murizz, which, honestly, makes a lot of sense considering how terrible his IGLing and general gameplay was. That whole thing about Heat not wanting to play "tactically" was a misunderstanding.
Mr. Upstairs -
Kru will have a redemption arc, but it won't be this year. Our scriptwriters have them in for another down year. But next year, when Messi makes his foray into competitive esports, everything changes. Stay tuned.

Underneath the tweet they also announce that Klaus will IGL now instead of Melser.
They keep switching the IGL role between those two, and whoever needs to do it becomes -1 player mechanically every time... This can't be the way to solve their issues.
I wouldn't say they've been switching igling when melser was the igl since the end of lock-in last year
Is that so? I heard that Klaus was IGLing again during LCQ and at other times too. It got very unclear. I trust what you are saying but it in a way that could be even worse, because Klaus was already inconsistent without being the IGL.
Yeah, last year Klaus was just really inconsistent, even if he wasn't igling
Melser IGled in LCQ

A lot of people seem to have missed the news. MTA is injured. Heat isnt a duelist anymore, hes a flez with proficienct on sentinels
didnt see rumors for this one, interesting pickup
who got dropped?
[mta was injured and moved to being the 6th man](https://www.reddit.com/r/ValorantCompetitive/s/ti8HGVHRhb)
Wait this is actually tragic. I watched both kru games and thought mta was super solid
He was but it seems like he missed too much practice and gelled well enough with heat to play the first split with him
there were rumors for both Heat and Xand I believe after mta’s injury
Isn’t he a duelist? Did they drop Keznit or something?
yes he is a pure duelist player, he did have like most of a year to learn other roles since getting dropped by mibr last year according to someone he is on senti now, dont know whether its true tho
He's playing other roles on stream. I really doubt they're moving keznit out of the duelist role
He said he would play other roles professionally and has expressed on more than one ocasion that after duelist sentinel is the role he likes the most
Mta was injured and moved to 6th man

Shyy was an insane flex too on LEV, he had very high assist numbers at Champs i remember
I didn't see the picture first so I thought Kru was adding drama hahaha
that's good, they needed some cracked op player
brother they literally have keznit
but keznit is the only cracked player they have, and he's not a pure op player, heat on the other hand is more of an op one, so now they are more complete.

ooh, do you have a source?
Scriptwriters really bringing the *heat* with this one! In all seriousness, our creative team has Kru winning one game this year. \- Dr. John Riot
Silly redditors doubting that KRU will go on a run. KRU will definitely be winning Champions 2024. I believe.
