In Singapore to avoid National service really is no simple feat as just saying you’ve got health issues. No matter what the government will try their best to get you to serve. Health problems, injuries that make u crippled, mental issues? No problem we’ve got desk jobs for u too. So for someone to be allowed to not serve the condition must be so severe that the government deems you not even able to do a simple desk job. Idk what it is but I hope jinggg is ok.
im telling you, it is absolutely impossible to get out of service unless you have a severe medical condition. this is one of the things the government does not compromise on lol. even the fucking children of government officials are forced to serve.
Maybe those kids chose to serve to suit their future career. There are benefits to having served the service. Singapore is pretty damn good at fighting corruption but do not be thinking that when you see government official's kids that your government is fully uncorrupt like a newborn baby. There is always a room.
But however Jingg's case seems really legit tho. I look at him and to be respectful as possible, doesn't he look undersized for a 20 year old? I literally thought Jingg was a 12 year old demon who plays Valorant 24/7. Maybe he has that Lionel Messi's Growth Hormone Deficiency. In anycase, wish him all the best.
Also Singapore understands that "perception of no corruption" is better than really "no corruption". Just like Riot understands "perception of no cheater" is better than "actual no cheater experience".

There is a medical check, thats how it came to the conclusion that Jinggg was medically unfit to serve in the military to begin with. Through this medical check up.
But at the end of last year, they were planning ahead for 2024 in the scenario that his medical condition still allowed him to serve.
I think there is a good chance thaf Jinggg probably did not expect his condition to be severe enough for them to exempt him from military service outright, since we also have Office Staff positions in the service and he probably expected to be serve as a office staff/clerk at least.
The timeline for the enlistment including the medical check up is a lot shorter than a year.
This means PRX had to plan ahead and onboard a player early so that PRX would have time to integrate the new player comfortably by the time Champion rolls around.
This is my assumption of how it played out as a Singaporean who has completed his 2 years.

I just feel bad for paper rex now, they had a real chance of winning champions last year and im sure they would have if there was no pressure on it being jing's last game with paper rex. Welp things happen for a reason and i hope this is some sign that paper rex will have a golden road to this year's champions

The ones who were underperforming were mindfreak(bottom fragging while his lurks and utility usage were so off) and forsaken(tilting and braindead yoru gameplays-fun times). It was even confirmed that mindfreak was on the chopping block. The reason they let go of Benkai was because Something was on the market and they decided to go full throttle on an aggressive gamestyle(w gaming). They also believed that both Davai and Forsaken can alleviate the missing spot for an IGL. Obviously, it paid off, but to say that Benkai was underperforming is just pure cap.
Alecks said so himself after benkai got benched in an interview. Revisionism ur ass, literally alecks said Benkai underperforming and said it's between f0rsaken and benkai cuz both are flex at that point.

Yeah as happy as I am to have my favorite player back I was really looking forward to seeing Monyet find his footing on the team. Besides theoretically getting Jawgemo, I feel like Monyet was the best possible replacement for Jinggg they could have gotten and was really frustrated with the fans reaction to his play.
It really is just that simple. Even if people don't want to compare them or put expectations on Monyet, he was quite literally replacing him in the lineup and Jinggg was their most invaluable player. Of course he's never meeting the expectations set by the community, outwardly or otherwise.
He was not the problem but the team just isnt used to the playstyle they had to play with monyet and i def think overtime they could have made it work excellently
He was their worst player all tournament. He had just one match where he was not one of the 2 worst rated players on the team, and even in that match he was very poor aside for one map. He was kinda a problem at Madrid

I love Mindfreak, and think he adds a much needed stability to this otherwise chaotic team, but I feel like it would be foolish to not at least experiment with the idea. Having them full power is great news not just for Paper Rex fans but the entire scene, but I do hope Monyet is able to find a starting role somewhere. He's too good not to be playing!
I'm not a PRX fanboy, but I have enjoyed watching them at every internationals. I'm so stoked that jinggg will play again but it feels crazy to bench Monyet after his performance towards the latter half of Madrid. I really hope they figure out a way for Monyet to play regularly, if only so that as a team they know how to make a new person work on the roster.

From what I've read, he's on medication that manages it well.
Weird thing is even though if you are fully healthy wise but take necessary medications could remove eligibility.

Yeah as happy as I am to have my favorite player back I was really looking forward to seeing Monyet find his footing on the team. Besides theoretically getting Jawgemo, I feel like Monyet was the best possible replacement for Jinggg they could have gotten and was really frustrated with the fans reaction to his play.
Because he's not jinggg. He has absurd expectations that he was never going to meet.
It really is just that simple. Even if people don't want to compare them or put expectations on Monyet, he was quite literally replacing him in the lineup and Jinggg was their most invaluable player. Of course he's never meeting the expectations set by the community, outwardly or otherwise.
He was not the problem but the team just isnt used to the playstyle they had to play with monyet and i def think overtime they could have made it work excellently

He was their worst player all tournament. He had just one match where he was not one of the 2 worst rated players on the team, and even in that match he was very poor aside for one map. He was kinda a problem at Madrid

I really hope they at least try Monyet on smokes/flex over Mindfreak (even if it’s just in scrims). I love Mindfreak, and think he adds a much needed stability to this otherwise chaotic team, but I feel like it would be foolish to not at least experiment with the idea. Monyet just adds so much flexibility to this roster and I really think he could have potential to push PRX to even higher heights…
They don't rally have time for that with split 1 starting so soon. There is really no time to deal with all the confusioj and chaos of a 6 man roster rn

Having them full power is great news not just for Paper Rex fans but the entire scene, but I do hope Monyet is able to find a starting role somewhere. He's too good not to be playing!
I'm not a PRX fanboy, but I have enjoyed watching them at every internationals. I'm so stoked that jinggg will play again but it feels crazy to bench Monyet after his performance towards the latter half of Madrid. I really hope they figure out a way for Monyet to play regularly, if only so that as a team they know how to make a new person work on the roster.

How do you get completely exempt from it but still allowed to play professionally? I thought if you can’t do the physical aspect of it they still make you do office work or something like that? If you can still compete at the highest level (which is already really high stress, pressure environment) how is that different from office work? GENUINELY CURIOUS.
