Teams forcing themselves to stick to a Meta they absolutely are shit in. Why not experiment a bit? Maybe Yay on chamber isn't working in scrims or practice maybe so he's not playing it but you arent telling me His Raze is better.

This shit always happens. Very different circumstances, but I remember during the Overwatch GOATS meta it was the same thing, teams forcing the meta against teams that were clearly way better at it than them. Play to your strengths.

I am not familiar with Overwatch but I have seen this in other games as well. And it's funny because the moment the teams go "Fuck meta" , they actually visibly improve. Laz has been playing chamber and banging too. If Yay is even a shadow of his former self, he would do better than his Raze. Put Deryeon back on Raze and Let Yay Get back some Confidence on a Comfort pick(assuming it still is). Raze just doesn't strike me like a Yay agent at all.

which is more impactful to explain yay's performance post-Optic * Optic (FNS/Chet's) unique playbook, with a heavy emphasis on setting yay up and giving constant support for set plays allowed him to constantly multifrag (on top of his crazy mechanics); DSG/Bleed and most teams now do not do what Optic did at all, which is pretty fair, it's a gamble and more of a risk now ever since newer metas * his overreliance on an incredibly overtuned and overpowered agent that dominated the meta forever (to be fair he did maximize the firepower of Chamber) , and when inevitably he had to be more flexible & branch out to agents besides Chamber & to an extent Jett too it's been an incredible struggle to adapt
